Corporate was unaccommodating to a family emergency I had. Unwilling to budge on outdated policies. With WEEKS in advance notice. I will say, the representatives on site tried to help but it was above them—so that is appreciated, but disappointed that the higher ups in the organization value revenue rather than being customer focused.

I had such a wonderful stay at Knob Hill Inn! The rooms were clean, the entire staff were so kind and accommodating, not to mention the incredible view from my room that I could enjoy each morning with a hot cup of coffee! A special thank you to Lorenza and Grace, who made the stay even more memorable! I can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a conference executive dinner here last night. Staff was attentive and en pointe, but unobtrusive. The food was EXCELLENT. We had a private dining room with a fireplace and it was calm and upscale. Highly recommend.

Knob Hill Inn is a special spot! We enjoyed an excellent three night stay recently. Every single staff member was warm, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing, easy, and comfortable. We loved access to the hotel car service/shuttle - so convenient we never moved our rental car once! It's also an easy walk to many Sun Valley hot spots - we walked home from dinner a few nights. Breakfast was delicious. Hot tub/sauna area was great. Large room with a comfy bed and soft linens. We will definitely return!

Wow! What an amazing experience! I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and their hospitality. The rooms are cozy and clean with amazing views! The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect.Location-wise, Knob Hill Inn couldn't be more convenient, within walking distance to all of Ketchum’s shops and restaurants. Also, the hotel had a shuttle service that brought us to and from River Run Lodge. The indoor/outdoor pool was super relaxing and was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. It was really nice being able to walk downstairs and go to The Grill for incredible drinks and food!My stay was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return to this charming hotel in the heart of Ketchum. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway!

**Updated after August 2024 Corporate RetreatWe had such a wonderful experience we decided to return with a much larger company in August of 2024 for another corporate retreat. Somehow Talus Rock exceeded the service they provided the last time we visited. From beginning to end (planning to completion of the retreat) the service, quality, and kindness was remarkable. They were organized, patient with me and all of my endless questions, and talented. We arranged a murder mystery dinner with Talus Rock for the Saturday night of the retreat. Talus Rock spent months perfecting the evening and it was very evident that their hard work paid off. We had a large group (just shy of 70 adults) and weeks before the event they individually contacted each participant providing a detailed synapsis of the evening, character details, costume recommendations, everything you could want. The attendees who flew in from all over (mostly from the US, portion of international guests) for the retreat were unbelievably excited for the evening. When the evening came Talus had set up the grounds more beautifully and elaborately than many weddings I had attended. Every detail from name tags, bakery purchased wedding cake (the murder mystery took place at a wedding), toasting beverages and cups and a phenomenal catered dinner during the "wedding," accommodating all dietary restrictions were taken care of with perfection. I was nervous that such a large group would be difficult to engage in the experience. That was not the case, ALL attendants had a wonderful job and were appropriately integrated into the night. The evening had so much laughter and excitement that we didn't want it to end. Can't recommend this retreat center and event enough. We can't wait to do it again. A million thanks to creating such bonding memories over the weekend. 6 out of 5 stars:).We recently hosted a weekend work retreat for a gaming company at Talus Rock. The facility could not have been more perfect and it was exactly what we were looking for. The retreat center itself had excellent kitchen facilities, plenty of tables for board games and meetings, a perfect outdoor space for setting up catering outside, and beautiful rooms. The grounds are very special and it is obvious a lot of care goes into the facility. Also plenty of parking and great location. The staff was lovely to work with, all kind, available, and helpful. Check out and in was extremely easy We also booked a murder mystery event and the chef was very kind and Chairis (spelled wrong) was fabulous and many of the attendees said the murder mystery was their favorite part of the retreat. They also organized a nice scavenger hunt to explore downtown. We are really grateful to Talus Rock, it was exactly what was needed after a long time of not being able to gather and finally with everyone vaccinated we were able to celebrate being together at this remarkable facility.

Great hosts, beautiful setting, nice room. Breakfast was 1/10, get much better breakfast at any Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast is a huge part of any B&B experience, so big fail here.

Gem in the Gem StateOn our last night of a 2 week road trip, we found Talus Rock Retreat (TRR) on Google. The listing details & pricing peaked our interest, leading us to book the Selkirk Room. From my booking conversation on the phone with Jill (co-manager) to our final goodbye’s the next day, we were left with wonderful memories & much gratitude for Jill/Chad, the staff & the owners who created this amazing place. In the interest of being as concise as possible, we’ll capsulize our comments & encourage u to have ur own unique experience in this hidden Gem on the outskirts of Sandpoint, Idaho*The Retreat—-no better words to describe the ambiance of this magnificent & elegant place, yet inviting serenity; blending with nature.*The Staff—Jill/Chad & staff exuded genuine friendliness & were attentive to all guests. They shared about the history of the Retreat & were knowledgeable about the area. They were perfect hosts.*Selkirk Room—-was beautifully appointed & absolutely comfortable. No extraneous noises other than the song of birds once we opened the French doors to the veranda in the morning.Bathroom was luxurious.*Breakfast—provided food items & coffee/tea were as described & more.*Grounds—-Expansive & serene. 13 acres mindfully gardened & peaceful soul refreshing experience. If near Sandpoint, ID & looking for accommodations,TRR will be a very memorable choice.

Talus Rock was unique and charming. We stayed in the Selkirk room. The room was spacious and had amenities which included climate control and extra linens. Unfortunately, my husband and I were very displeased with the breakfast. We woke up at 9am to go downstairs to find an unappealing slice of bread in a bag. Furthermore, there was no fruit or eggs out as advertised on the website. In the morning, the staff was unpleasant by not acknowledging us so we packed our bags and left. We ate breakfast in town. Overall, I would not recommend this place. A bed and breakfast should have a decent breakfast.

My husband and I stayed in the grand arbor room on our honeymoon for three days. The place wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as impressive as the pictures led us to believe. The pool is laughably small, the grounds aren't nearly as secluded as we were led to believe, most of the rooms in the building are just basic bedrooms with a microwave in them. Everything is just... smaller than it looked. The breakfast bar is also a little odd in its choices of food. It felt like it was catering to an over 60 crowd. The staff is very attentive... almost too attentive if you're an introvert. All in all, it's fine, but pretty expensive for what you're getting.

My husband and I were passing through with our dog, and spent the night at Talus Rock. What a lovely place! We were (all) welcomed by our kind hosts. The building is beautifully situated, with lovely views of a water feature in the back. The decor - and each room - is uniquely beautiful. We had a great sleep and enjoyed the continental breakfast the next day, looking out at songbirds, geese, and a heron who was hoping to get a gosling! This will be our choice the next time we’re in Sandpoint.

This resort is an intimate Bed and Breakfast. We came here in the winter when it was snowing. We can't wait to come again when it has melted. Chad was so friendly and inviting. The room we stayed in was the Grand Arbor room and it is so beautiful.

Hoping to submit this anonymously as you can see criticism is not received well by the management and they pull up your stay information to argue their invalid point. The responses are not from the owner. They are very checked out from this place. If you want to pay $14.95 you can buy the booklet to take home and learn about the family.Talus Rock is far from “luxury”. I have stayed at many 4-star accommodations and this place claiming as that is a reach. Granted the home is artistic, unique, eclectic, etc., however, it is just a 1990’s mansion that no longer houses the family that built it. Instead of selling it the owners decided to turn it into a bed and breakfast. The furnishings are not antiques, but pieces that were picked up second hand. This property is not a resort, it is not luxurious, nor is Talus Rock and bed and breakfast. I am thankful we brought some breakfast items with us as the stale bread items, instant oatmeal, and hard-boiled eggs were a joke.We were excited to stay here when looking at the photos online, but wow talk about bait and switch. I would give an A+ to the photographer and marketing person. Once I stepped into the Syringa room (previously known as the mother-in-law suite) there was much disappointment. The suite was much smaller than represented online. There was little privacy unless you had all the window coverings closed. It was very cool that the hot tub was right on the deck, however it is a public hot tub. If it were not for the shades on the patio door you had a choice to watch other guests dry hump in the jacuzzi or they could watch you in your room.We will never stay here again, and I would not recommend Talus Rock. If you are willing to spend $200+ a night for a substandard breakfast, dated furniture, dogs running freely, and creepy hosts then TRR is for you.

Our stay was short and sweet but absolutely perfect. My husband and I wanted a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. When we ran across this place, it was exactly what we were looking for! The host, Chad, greeted us when we got there and gave us a quick tour. Everyone was very nice. We stayed in the Arbor room, which was breathtaking. You can tell a lot is custom done. The shower is so unique and relaxing. The heated floors are also really a really nice touch. The view from our room was stunning with everything covered in fresh snow. You're only ten minutes from downtown, which made it convenient for us to grab dinner before heading there. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for that perfect quiet getaway.

The stay was beautiful. We stayed in the syringa suite. The bathroom is very small. And the hot tub is right outside the room. Which is awesome but awkward at the same time. The whole place has so much character I would say it’s more of an air bnb than a resort. The “breakfast” is toast, jam, yogurt, apple and a banana. The floors are heated which was amazing! Plenty of blankets and pillows- not enough towels. I wish they had a better lay out on the website of where the rooms are and what they are next too. Paying to check in early I think is to nickel and diming, offering complementary socks or slippers ( shoes off while inside) would be awesome. The feel is home away from home which is great but also meaning the place has quarks that need to be fixed. Amber bear in is similar to this feel but with a stay you get an actual home cooked breakfast and they offer a bonfire at night. I wouldn’t choose that room again ( it did look better in photos) there’s notes everywhere about if you use this make sure you do this - that’s to much when your paying to stay somewhere. I understand the concept but it needs to be revamped. The marketing is great but the reality is different. We met Chad and Jill. I’m not sure if they were hosts or owners. Chad is very friendly Jill very stand off.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our 30th anniversary at Talus this March. Communication pre-stay was top-notch, we ordered extra's to include couple's massage, private chef dinner & breakfast in bed. We were greeted outdoors by cute little dogs & inside staff with "Welcome Home" upon our arrival, what an amazing custom front door. We stayed in the Grand Arbor room and it was very nice & quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the custom 2 head rain shower was unique and beautiful. We had everything we needed in the room including coffee, wine glasses and even some chocolate kisses. The view overlooked the backyard with the natural ponds & pools, although it was all ice & snow covered it was still beautiful, I can only imagine the beauty in the summer. The massage was great, although 1 masseuse had their car break down, but the 1 that was there was able to accommodate us perfectly. Now, the dinner was the highlight of our stay! Chef Chris Arlo & his assistant (sorry don't remember her name) not only prepared our custom 7 course dinner in this interactive experience, but they entertained us with many stories. The only improvement that I could recommend is that we missed the entrance sign at the driveway and then maybe have another sign where to park, I know there was lots of snow, so maybe they were just buried. The other thing I wanted to mention is that although wine was included in our dinner, they don't have any other alcohol there for purchase, so bring your own. This was an experience we'll remember for our lifetime and will be sure to come back to enjoy again.

We stayed one night in the Grand Arbor room (the tree room). So we didn't use any of the extras offered or spend a lot of time on the property. We liked it and I'm already making plans to go back. The room met my main requirements. The bed was comfortable, it had coffee and it was quiet. Also, the open concept tree shower and the view were both amazing. However, I think it's important to know I would not use the words "luxury" or "elegant" in a description. Talus Rock is "unique" "funky" "cozy" "artsy". Not luxury. It needs a fair amount of TLC, some deep cleaning, and it isn't a resort. It's more like an old school (pre airbnb) bed and breakfast. Which was fun in the morning. Hanging in the great room talking to other guests and the host. I'm not sure about the word "retreat" either. It is relaxing and peaceful and if you book the extras and use more of the property, could maybe feel like a retreat. If you're not expecting luxury or looking for it then this is a great spot.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. Getting to walk around in my slippers, watch the sunrise over the mountains, and get an incredible massage were just some of the reasons I will continue to come back time and time again. Seriously, I've never felt just as refreshed and relaxed after a trip as I was after staying here. So so so gorgeous and refreshing!!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary in early December. We really had no idea what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The place is beautiful and the grounds were quite expansive. We found the entire weekend there to be relaxing and quiet which is what we wanted! The first night we stayed in the Grand Arbor room. The shower is pretty awesome. The room was quite large and quiet even though it’s on the main floor. There isn’t a place to hang out but it’s a great room to experience. The next. Ugh t we had the Kipling room upstairs. It was a lot smaller but we enjoyed it more. It was just more “warm” and comfortable plus the view outside of the mountains was epic.We didn’t eat here other than the breakfast. You definitely need a car as there isn’t anything nearby.

My colleagues and I wanted something different for our annual work party so decided to do the murder mystery at Talus Rock Retreat. What a fun night!! From beginning to end, we felt glamorous and well taken care of. The catering from Arlo’s restaurant was 5-star as well. Whether it be with family or friends or colleagues I would definitely recommend switching up the usual party and spicing it up with a murder mystery dinner.

A decent stay in a lovely lodge. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and professional. Friendly dogs roam unfettered. The drawbacks are the standard breakfast: coffee, juice, and either toast or bagel plus hard boiled eggs. Given the $400+/night cost and with nothing walkable close, this was a huge disappointment. Guests can order a lavish breakfast brought to the room at additional cost. Same is true for turndown, mint service. Also disappointing was no champagne or something to commemorate our anniversary. Lots of service options like massages available at additional cost. Perhaps my expectations were too high for our anniversary stay. There is nothing particular special to warrant staying here again. Nothing went wrong or was bad at all; I expected a real breakfast, perhaps a cocktail, sherry, or wine hour, and more things to do at the property. Neither a retreat nor a B&B and $400+/night is a lot for only a little.

Disclaimer!

On our site we provide a list hotels with Jacuzzi or hot tub in room.
But, not all rooms in these hotels are equipped with Jacuzzi or hot tub. Before you make a reservation, make sure you chose the right room that you wanted!
For example, if you want room with these amenities, you need to select room with jetted tub, hot tub, jacuzzi or whirlpool on booking page (see image). Also, you can visually check in gallery if the room has any of these amenities inside.

** On TubHotels.com, the term "Jacuzzi" is employed in a general context to denote any upscale jetted or whirlpool bathtub, and not specifically to indicate products branded by Jacuzzi®. Our descriptions of hotel accommodations are based on our interpretation of information received from travel agencies, and we do not assert with certainty that the accommodations feature a Jacuzzi® brand tub or another brand. Given that the availability of hotel rooms and suites with Jacuzzi® tubs or hot tubs can vary, we advise guests to verify the specific type of spa tub included in their booking with the travel agency managing their reservation.
