Tho Comfort Inn in particular is a great travel room experience. Conveniently located right off the exit.
Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance of need be.
When I arrived to my room it was almost as perfect as it could get. Very clean, smelled nice. Everything I used worked perfectly. The microwave, the WiFi, the lights, the air conditioning.
The people at the front desk were very helpful.
Very nice and seemed like they really enjoy their jobs.
I really feel like I got a GREAT room, GREAT service for a fair price.
I would recommend Comfort Inn in Weirton to anyone passing thru.
When I first arrived I met Lisa. She was working the front desk. She was super friendly and welcoming.
The next day before I ventured out I met Michael and Adam.
Both very friendly gentlemen and I could tell that they take pride in their job.
Awesome job Comfort Inn of Weirton Team!!
If I’m ever back in the area maybe I’ll see you friendly folks again!

As many hotels have started doing, housekeeping us upon request. But, unlike other hotels, they do not swap your towels out in your room. You put them outside your room. At some point during the day, they will leave you new ones in a bag outside your room, but you may not get exactly what you put outside either, at least not every time. On one occasion, they did not pick mine up until 2 days after even though I pit them out first thin in the morning like every other time.

My room AC did not work very well, but this was not apparent while it was in the 40s for most of my stay, but the last couple of days it approached 80 each day and while my room temperature was tolerable, it was not as cool as I would have liked, I didn't bother requesting it to be fixed because the same day as it was obvious the AC was not performing as it should, the entire hotel lost hot water until sometime in the night after I had to take a cold shower.

Some guests basically were allowed to party till past 10 pm with loud music from their vehicle parked next to the curb of the hotel, not in a parking spot, but rather by the barbecue pit in the fire lane. This started on my last few days of my 2 week stay, so I did not change hotels over it, but had it started in the first few days, I would definitely have.

I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay if you can.

Well, here's a pretty honest review from someone that travels a lot. Please avoid this hotel at all costs. The room was decent and clean, but that is where all the niceties end. Bathroom: extremely small with zero ventilation. Basic sheet of toilet paper test was negative. No airflow at all through the vent. So if you have kids and shower with the door closed, don't take a hot shower. The steam has nowhere to go and will choke you out like it did to my wife. Staff is aware of the problem but unwilling to help. Shower bar was pulled down to chin height, and it was fixed that way, so it looks awful and the shower curtain drags on the floor outside of the shower. Room: Nice and clean as I stated before. TV wouldn't work and when my wife called down to ask for help, she was told it was a Comcast problem and to find another form of entertainment. Not once, but twice. Piss poor service training at this point. Amenities: Breakfast on both days was cleaned up and gone before the 9AM end time. Generally not an issue for me as I'm out at 5AM, but the wife and kids went downstairs at 8:45AM to see everything put away and breakfast done, over with, and cleaned up. Not really stellar service, especially during Spring Break when most adolescents and caretakers are enjoying some extended sleep and late night family time. Pool: No holding back here. Totally freaking gross. Water was green with visible sand and dirt at the bottom. The hot tub was drained. I asked the service staff if the hot tub was going to get refilled soon. The response I got was an "I don't know" and a "it needs a jackhammer taken to it". Not the response a customer is expecting. Service: Service staff needs considerable training on customer interaction. Also need to recognize that if you employ staff that spends more time smoking than working, not only will critical tasks and services not get done, but everyone they interact with will come away holding their nose and coughing from the ash tray stench. Side Note: I ran a trucking company for many years and the smell of smoke never really bothered me during driver meetings or when I worked at a bar. However, if all you do is smoke and drink red bull without showering, you will have a very distinctive smell about you. And not one that will leave a good impression on customers. I also grew up in the swamps along the Ohio river. Playing in creeks, catching crawdads, and swimming in ponds was the my childhood. So if your pool causes me to have flashbacks of DuPont wastewater streams, then it's time to break out the skimmer, pool vacuum, and test kit.

Absolutely 10 out of 10 would not recommend!! My family along with another family were stuck on the elevator for an hour. The hotel front desk claimed they had contacted the fire department to come help. Come to find out that was a lie, we had to call 911 30 minutes into the ordeal-which the fire department said it was the first time hearing about it. We were running late for my sons wrestling district. We did not have time to stop and talk to the front desk, so we called them later in the day. I asked for a return call from the general manager-he knew of the situation, acted as if I was lying when he called me back. Even though the other family told the front desk our names and that we could not stick around. Not even an apology. WOW!! The last time the elevator had been serviced was January 2023-talk about a fire hazard!! Not to mention the taumatized children and families that were stuck on the elevator during this time. Very disappointed in how this was handled!!!

We had a relaxing and lovely four night stay. Scott was a wonderful host and the house and bedroom were cleaner and more comfortable than many B&Bs we've experienced. We cannot wait to stay again!

Do not take short notice bookings. We were in the area looking for B& B's. Turned away for not being booked in advance when it was obvious both were not full. It was disappointing

This is the only place to stay in town. Terrific!

Thank you, Scott for taking care of us day-of during normal business hours as your website says. I promise we will never call you at 11:00 at night asking for reservations LOL.

The Garrett House exterior is historically unassuming, but once you step through the front door you are surrounded by the romance of the Victorian era. My wife & I have been guests in several B&Bs with properties that share similar architectural & decorative features; but the Garrett House is unique among them for the hundreds of small & medium sized decorative items expertly arranged throughout the house either from or sympathetic to the era that could keep you busy admiring the details for hours. Clean, no clutter, just elegance with a comfort that made our 3-night stay a very memorable one. We would definitely return if were visiting Eastern Ohio or Western PA, and we recommend the Garrett House for other travelers who would appreciate the property's history & decor while enjoying the modern comforts & tasty breakfasts.

My wife and I stayed here for the second time. The room was comfortable, clean, and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious on both days. We enjoyed the Nutcracker Village, which is just up the street from the B&B. Scott is an excellent host and we would love to come back.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Bayberry House B&B. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite, which I highly recommend if you have room in your budget--it's very spacious and elegant, and the bathtub was great for a soak! The breakfasts in the morning were very tasty, too. We had a nice chat with one of the owners about the house renovation. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a casually luxurious, vintage place to stay in Steubenville.

My family and I traveled from Maryland to attend a funeral in July 2021 and stayed at the Bayberry House. We found our accommodations to be more than what we expected. Scott was very warm and friendly. Everything was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot breakfast! The place offers such interesting history. We highly recommend this place above the local hotels. Thanks Scott! If we’re ever in town again, without a doubt we know where we will stay. The Mckenzies

This home has been lovingly restored and furnished. There is something unique and historical in every corner throughout the house. It is a peaceful place to stay when visiting Steubenville and has easy access to all of the local attractions. Scott, the owner of the Inn is very helpful but also respectful of your privacy. He managed to blend the charm of the old home with its exquisite details and the modern conveniences of updated kitchen and baths. Breakfast changes everyday and is excellent. I highly recommend staying in this charming local business rather than the usual hotel. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B this last weekend. Scott has done an amazing job restoring the Garrett house to its Victorian splendor. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The home has a wonderful balance of modern amenities and antiques. Scott is a great host - makes a great breakfast and made everything very easy. Had a lovely breakfast with the other guests. Will stay again
