This is the BEST location possible on Lake Superior! Super family friendly, clean, and very welcoming!! An awesome spot to sit by the lake and relax, and definitely kid-friendly also. I’m DEFINITELY coming back. Do not hesitate. Five stars no question.

Nice buildings, relatively clean townhouses, amazing views of the lake. Lots of parking, and a short drive to other close attractions. You can get a single unit, or likenin our case, rent multiple together and open up all the doors so you can bring the whole family. Nice spot, definitely will be kept on the list of places to frequent in future trips up the North Shore.

My family and I stayed in a 3 bedroom Lakehome in June 2023 and loved the cabin. The resort's front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience on Father's Day at their restaurant Grand Superior Grill involving a server who was incredibly rude to us and claimed they had no record of the brunch reservation we made a month in advance, and confirmed the day prior. We hope to stay at the resort again, but will avoid the restaurant next time.

Fantastic place to stay with a beautiful waterfront view off of the balcony. Rooms were beautifully decorated and maintained. The restaurant was a great place to start the day. The breakfast meals were tasty and the presentation was polished and pleasing. All the staff were friendly and always looking to help.Definitely would return in a heartbeat!!

We are currently staying here for a quick one night get away to see the spring thaw on the rivers/falls. Our room (standard 1br lodge suite) is lovely. Ample seating, separate bedroom, and even a side lake view. Our fireplace wasn’t working and they quickly sent maintenance up to fix it. My husband left his wallet at the d front desk, and the man working there actually brought it up to us. (Vs calling us to come get it) We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good, with excellent service. All around this is a lovely place in a great location, right on Lake Superior. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked a 2 night stay for our anniversary. Our first room one issue, the gas fireplace seemed to operate but the glass was so opaque, apparently with soot, that the flames were not visible. That was a minor issue to us since we had a fireplace at home, but we were truly looking forward to the jacuzzi tub in the room. After we returned from a fantastic dinner at the hotel restaurant, the co alarm was chirping away. Maintenance quickly responded and that quickly moved us to another room. We were grateful and barely had a chance to checkout the new digs after moving out bags to the new room. Maintenance had left and it was about 9:30 when we realized that we didn't have a jacuzzi, so we decided to head to the pool/hot tub for a bit. I was bummed to see that the sauna was not working; saunas rule. The next day we had plans in the morning, so around noon we asked the folks at the front desk if there were any rooms that we could switch to that had a jacuzzi tub, since that was the only amenity we truly cared about. Those wonderful people put us in the beach house for our second night. If you haven't had the pleasure to experience it for yourself, the Beach House is a small shack sitting directly on the waters edge at lake level. It is breathtaking and wholly unique. Thanks for the wonderful service and amenities.

Very nice hotel and amenities. Nice rooms and decor throughout the hotel. Great hot tub and pool area. Great staff in the bar with great views. Say hi to Val behind the bar she'll take care of you!

Beautiful lakeside location with very nice lodges. Highly recommended as long as you don't have to rely on any of the staff. Unfortunately, every business in the North Shore is suffering from staff shortages at the moment. In some places that's more obvious than others; here it seemed particularly bad. Went to the restaurant and it had just two very overworked and exhausted servers who were also having to run the bar, bus tables and welcome guests. We felt really bad for them. Our lodge had a kitchen, so we just made all our own meals the rest of the week. The lodges are nice and almost all have a view of the lake. Very quiet at night. Excellent stars if the weather's right.

The hotel was great, newly painted and clean. The halls were bright. Rooms quite and clean. Service was good. They have decent amenities. Pool in my opinion was small, they had some available life jackets which was great. Sauna was not a wet sauna it was dry which I don't like as much. The "fitness center" was a joke. I am one that enjoys to workout on vacation. The fitness center was a tiny set of dumbbells 3/5/8lbs which is same set I got my wife at target for 25 dollars. 2 yoga mats, a weird elliptical thing and a low end treadmill. There was no room in it unless u were on the 2 machine. Since the beach is large rough rocks I couldn't just hit the beach for a nice body weight workout and run. One of the things my kids enjoy going to north shore is rock skipping, this beach left a lot to be desired. It was not the normal. The location was great, close to State parks, rustic inn, and other places to stop. Little further out of 2 harbors, it was great. I really do believe they need to remove fitness room from amenities. The rooms were clean and well kept. Liked the layout of 1 bedroom. We had 2 beds one was in separate room with its own vanity and sink which was great. Bathroom had places to hang towels which we found annissue at superior shores. It was great place, would stay there again.

We stayed in the main lodge facing the lake. The room was very modern and clean. Was a cold rainy day and we enjoyed the room’s fireplace! (Bring a jacket when you visit North Shore). The property is very well maintained, cabins right on the lake, very family friendly, charming, cozy, relaxing. I think this would be a fantastic place for and small or large family retreat. We enjoyed our dinner, service was very friendly, good price, had a great steak and asparagus. Restaurant was unpretentious and the staff trying very hard to serve food and drinks. We enjoyed our stay!
