Verified reviews for New Hampshire hotels with Jacuzzi in room
We just arrived here around 9:30pm they left our keys for us tapped to the front office door since we arrived after the lobby closed. We got to our room and the beds were used, trash was full and ash all in the sink and it smelt like smoke. The room was never cleaned. (Picture attached)
We tried calling the emergency number for the hotel and it wouldn’t work kept saying the voicemail box isn’t set up. Called multiple times and nothing. After paying over 500 dollars for this stay we had to pay even more money to stay somewhere else for the night due to the rooms state. This is the first time I have stayed here and we will not be staying in the future.
You will love this place!
The room was very clean and comfortable. I had one of the cheaper rooms closer to the roadside, with one king size bed. The little balcony out back was a nice touch, and the grounds with the pool looked very well kept and attractive, though, as it was rainy, I didn't really get to explore or take advantage of them.
As a couple of other people have mentioned, they seem to be just a tad disorganized when it comes to check in and payment. My daughter booked the room for me with her credit card, but unlike other hotels, where I could still actually pay for the room with my own credit card upon check-in, they could not make that adjustment. Which is no big deal - I'll just have to pay her back. But I can see where there might be some difficulties with irregular payments such as a couple of people seem to have had.
Also, it would have been really nice to have had a coffee machine in the room. They do have coffee/tea in the office (starting at 8:00 am), but I do like to have my coffee before I am completely up and about in the morning, and didn't want to have to go to the office in my nightie. There's a microwave, so even some instant coffe/creamer would have been fine.
But overall, I would definitely come here again. The price is good, the rooms are very pleasant. The staff are very friendly, if just a little disorganized in some aspects. The location seems quite central to plenty of things in the area. I don't think there are any drawbacks severe enough that I would not recommend it. It might not be the height of luxury, but as nice, comfortable hotels go, you could do a lot worse!
Staff very attentive, food is so good.
? And take the tour!!!!
[A guy plays guitar way too loud in the bar and I could hear conversations from the bar when sitting in bed. ]
The only bathroom in the room has a door that doesn’t lock and has a sliver down the middle that you can just look through. [if you had a person on either side of the door you could still look at each other].
The staff are super nice but look at the other reviews. Don’t waste your money, you are only paying for the aesthetic. It was interesting to do once but I do feel like I could have gotten so much more for my money elsewhere.
Also I wish I was actually able to enjoy my room the whole time I was there. I didn’t sign up for there to be music practically pumped into my room numerous times and wouldn’t have made a reservation if I had known. [ have videos of the ridiculous volume]
-An amazing experience. Pictures and descriptions that we could find in advance do not do it justice. Immersive, unexpected, surprising, and super-fun.
-Pricey? Yes, but for a truly unique experience, totally worth it.
-18 people? I can see how the beds can accommodate that many, but recommend a smaller group for max enjoyment (10-12).
-Other stuff: Staff was great, service was great, food......also pretty great. Try any of the pizzas and ask for jello shots from the bar! Hot tub with open air view of the mountains was awesome in December and the staff brought us wool blankets out by the fire pit.
