Beware: if you do not read the FINE PRINT, you will automatically be charged a TIP for $3. May not seem like a lot to some folks but when you are not told about it and rushed through the check in process, you will not even notice on your billing statement. When asked what incidentals are you swiping my card for, oh there is no charge. But swipe your card anyways after pre-paying the bill….
The breakfast is subpar dry cereal or make your own waffles, eggs and sausage (not good) bed was very uncomfortable. The rooms were very clean which was a huge plus. The worst part was the doors banging closed all day and night, just a very uncomfortable stay.
Sorry but 2 stars for me. Would rather stay somewhere else.
Very clean room, friendly and helpful staff, plentiful and nourishing breakfast. Especially appreciate paper products used at breakfast instead of non-recyclable styrofoam.
Hotel wasn’t very clean. Our room was so sticky due to humidity and had a terrible musky smell. The carpet felt sticky and the shower had a large crack down the side. We couldn’t wait to leave. Pictures online were not what it looked like in person. Would NOT recommend.
Needed a place to stop along our journey. Was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was ok. It could be I was just all waffled out from our week long stay at a hotel where we went. I was gonna start booking comfort inn rooms from now on if these were the way all of them were. But reading the reviews if I'm about to get charged for an automatic tip I'll pass. We stayed for a couple hours and didn't mess anything up and I have to be forced to tip someone. You say "you signed the e whatever". Oh you mean the thing on the little screen that auto writes your initials at each line? Yeah most hotels go over each line with guests (I've been to many and they all have) and the guests initial. You don't go over anything and you auto initial so you know you're trying to hide it. Guess I shouldve read reviews beforehand.
I stay yearly for about a week and have yet to be disappointed by my stay. This was my 5th year since moving from NE. Rooms are always comfortable and clean. Pool and hot tub always work, and any issues that arise are remedied quickly. Pricing is alway reasonable. Breakfast is simple yet adequate. Overall, it's a great location and a great stay.
So, the rooms were a great price, the staff was very friendly, although it was a little dated, the bed was comfy and had fresh sheets and bedding. Just as we were leaving though, I'd made a last trip to the bathroom and noticed a bug crawling in the corner, I looked closer and was horrified to see it was a bed bug. I will say this, it was clear the staff was cleaning, the room was as clean as it possibly could have been for the age of the hotel, I'm sure these things happen in most hotels, but I left with "the ik" hoping I didn't bring critters home. Reading the previous reviews from a week ago I see it was an issue they were aware of, I just wish they had corrected the issue before allowing guests to stay.
Clean room. Friendly staff. Small continental breakfast available (cereal and toast, milk and coffee and juice). I checked in REALLY late and there were no problems!
Bed bugs!!! We were in town for a wrestling tournament with entire boys and girls teams, coaches, parents, and a bus driver. Shortly after checking in, bed bugs were found in multiple rooms.
As a result, the entire group had to be relocated in the middle of the night. We had to find and secure a new hotel for everyone, which was extremely stressful and disruptive, especially with students involved and a tournament early the next morning.
This situation was unacceptable and should never happen. I strongly recommend anyone traveling avoid this hotel.
The hotel had a case of bed bugs in multiple rooms, the sheets felt dirty. the carpet is so dirty it makes your feet/socks look like you were outside, the bathroom tile is dirty, the bathroom light fixture was missing, and the shower had hair all over it like it had not been cleaned. The elevator is also out of service. Plus the staff is in denial of all the issues
Terrible! reserved handicap room. When got there bed was too high to get in and only chair did not recline. We had stayed here for years and it was really good. We ended up today just telling them no thanks..leaving. we were lucky enough to find another motel with no reservations. So sad after this was sold it has totally gone bad.
