Sent to a dirty room at 3 am wasn’t the best way to start our stay. Took an additional 20-30 mins to get a new room. A big drag with kids in tow… and at such a late hour. Place was decent but nothing to write home about. Breakfast was just ok. Shampoo / body wash pump was empty. Room was a bit rough around the edges. Not that nice for the $$$ we paid. Stayed 4 nights. It was just ok. Laundry gal was nice when I asked for clean set of sheets.
This was a beautiful hotel, very clean but I was a bit let down by the service. As a diamond member I was not recognized, my room preference was not honored. At the end of the day it's not life or death. As someone who travels frequently with Hilton it would be nice to feel as though they cared about their guests loyalty.
Great place. Will absolutely stay here again. The door handles to the rooms are mounted upside down. So after scanning your card you have to lift up, not push down. Funny thing is, it's not every time. It's like they have a mind of their own. Very strange.
This is the best Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The area is very nice with a walking trail behind the hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. The pool and hot tub were great and they also have a soda fountain in the breakfast area
Beautiful hotel. The lobby, front desk, and lounge areas are decorated beautifully. Very, very clean. The elevators and hallways are aesthetically pleasing and clean. Something I find that helps set the tone for our stay in such a positive way.
It’s a very quiet hotel, which I love. We drove in and had been awake 48 hours prior to check in. We literally unpacked and went straight to bed at 3:30 pm, with the sun still up. The blackout curtains helped, but the quietness was everything. We heard nothing from the other rooms, the hallway or the parking lot. For a light sleeper this started us off on the right foot. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are soft and the thermostat is easy to control.
The breakfast has an assortment of items. Always a protein (bacon one day, sausage another), eggs cooked differently per day (omelette, scrambled). Breads (toast, bagels), make your own waffles. There were breakfast bagels one day, biscuits and gravy the next. Cereals, juices, coffee, and even a soda machine. They really cover their bases so there’s something for everyone.
My favorite feature: Hot water! Too many hotels have a scald guard that, while safe for guests with children, makes the rest of us take tepid showers. I want hot water. Anything less and it makes me cold. The water takes a few minutes to warm up, but it gets nice and hot. Absolutely perfect!
The front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming. They were quite helpful with anything we asked. Olena was very warm, welcoming and kind. Exactly what we needed when arriving travel-weary.
The housekeeping staff is second to none! Evelyn is just exceptional!! She is worth her weight in gold. She has an eye for detail, and goes above and beyond! I mean extra, over the top quality and care with every aspect of the room. She is a credit to your brand!
The pool is indoor. There are chairs and tables all around. The hot tub is spacious, the pool is large, and there’s a nice shallow shelf that extends quite a ways for little ones. There were plenty of towels folded and ready for use, but none were left lying around. They keep the area picked up and tended to.
We had no problem parking. And found quite a few restaurants and eateries in close proximity. The location puts so many choices for food very nearby. A huge plus. And Uber Eats delivers right to the room.
We were more than pleased with our stay here! Definitely a keeper for whenever we’re in Kearney visiting family.
Standard hotel with no frills like clock at bedside but we used our phones. Pet friendly room appreciated. Room very clean and beds comfy as well as variety of pillows from firm to soft. Was great to park by entrance near our room our dog liked that. Breakfast was good and the “bold” coffee option was great! Staff kind and friendly. Only mix up was when booking the room on the hotel website I selected a pet friendly room and the price was quoted as including all taxes and fees. However when I checked in the staff said I must pay an additional $25 so that was disappointing.
Even while they are remodeling, it was still very nice. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was great. The pool and hot tub being open till midnight for adults was great.
I try to post positive reviews... but sometimes it's not possible. We did get a good price for the room... but that doesn't offset the difficulties we encountered almost immediately. First, the room configuration ( king bed, etc) was not available when we arrived, even though it had been confirmed online that it was available. Once we got to the room ( 2 queen beds; which I thought initially was an acceptable compromise) the fan and heat system didn't function properly. All during the night, we heard car and truck noises from the road. Key card malfunctions: keys cards wouldn't work; then when we were getting ready for bed, our door suddenly opens; the person at the front desk had assigned someone else to our room; by accident ( I suppose...). The clerks excuse was that our electronics (smart watch, phone, were wiping the programming from the keycards). I have never heard of that?!? The beds were relatively comfortable, and the pillows (all flat and lifeless) made for an uncomfortable sleep. My smartwatch informed me in the morning that I had a very poor sleep pattern. 😴 OH well; so we got dressed. The breakfast was not adequate, all warm or cold. Sorry for rambling... and state of the facility; thread-bare carpets... etc. Also earlier I was going to work out... couldn't find an exercise room... online it's stated that it's "nearby" at another hotel!?!? Please find somewhere else to stay, if you need to stay in Kearney Nebraska
Our room and the property in general was VERY clean. One of the cleanest I've seen in a long time, especially in this price range. Comfy beds, hot shower, and a basic but adequate breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool was open late, which I love! Right off of the highway and easy to get to. Restaurants nearby and I think I saw a walking trail right around the corner. We only stayed for one night, but we'll 100% be back if we are in the area again!
We stayed in the jacuzzi suite. The price was reasonable. The room was very clean and we filled the jacuzzi and ran it before it was used. The jets ran and all was clean and clear. The jets were discolored but that to me was not a big deal, I was more concerned on if there was going to be a lot of dirt and hair that flew out of the jets. Thankful they were clear. I really loved the layout of this room and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay at this location again.
