Roseville Hot Tub Hotels: Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Roseville and the surrounding area, California

Best Time to Visit

  • Spring (March–May): One of the best seasons in the Sacramento Valley, with mild temperatures in the 70s, wildflower blooms in the Sierra foothills, and active Gold Country tourism. El Dorado Hills and Placerville are at their most scenic. Good availability at most properties, with moderate pricing. Book Inn at Parkside and Holiday Inn Express El Dorado Hills 2–3 weeks ahead for spring weekends.
  • Fall (September–November): Another excellent window, with cooler temperatures after summer heat and harvest season across the Gold Country wine region. Apple Hill near Placerville draws large crowds on fall weekends. Downtown Sacramento and Old Sacramento see active tourism through this season. Davis and UC Davis host homecoming and football events that can affect hotel availability.
  • Summer (June–August): Very hot in the valley, with temperatures regularly exceeding 100°F. In-room Jacuzzis and pools are well-used for relief. Sacramento's midtown and downtown dining scenes are active year-round. Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln operates at full capacity through summer. Hotels serve a mix of business travelers, state government visitors, and families heading to Lake Tahoe (about 2 hours east).
  • Winter (December–February): Cool and occasionally foggy, with tule fog a well-known Central Valley hazard on Interstate 5 and Highway 99. The quietest season for tourism. Holiday weeks see moderate demand from state government activity. January and February offer the lowest pricing of the year. Good season for budget travelers.
Booking tip: Apple Hill near Placerville (about 45 minutes east of Sacramento) draws hundreds of thousands of visitors on fall weekends from September through November. Hotels in El Dorado Hills, Placerville, and even Rocklin can fill during peak Apple Hill weekends. If your trip coincides with Apple Hill season, book early. If Apple Hill is not the purpose of your visit, be aware that fall weekend pricing and availability may be tighter than expected.

Important Booking Tips for Roseville

  • Confirm the exact room type: Jacuzzi and spa tub rooms are specific upgrade categories at most hotels in this region. Look for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Room," "Spa King," or "Hot Tub Suite" when booking. At Holiday Inn Express and Hilton properties, not every room includes a private tub.
  • Apple Hill fall weekends: Apple Hill near Placerville (about 45 minutes east of Sacramento) is one of the region's biggest fall tourism draws, active from September through November. Hotels in El Dorado Hills, Placerville, and Rocklin can fill on peak fall weekends. Book 3–4 weeks ahead if your trip overlaps with Apple Hill season.
  • Thunder Valley Casino Resort: This is the only full casino resort in the dataset, located in Lincoln about 21 miles from Sacramento. It operates at high capacity year-round, with entertainment events, gaming, and dining that make it a destination in its own right. If casino entertainment is part of your trip, this is the only option. Book ahead for concert weekends and holiday periods.
  • Davis as a university town: Best Western Plus Palm Court Hotel and Aggie Inn are both in downtown Davis, steps from UC Davis. UC Davis graduation (mid-June), homecoming (fall), and major academic events fill Davis hotels quickly. If your visit coincides with a university event, book 4–6 weeks ahead.
  • Pet-friendly picks: Glen Morey Country House B&B, Holiday Inn Express Lincoln-Roseville Area, and Thunder Valley Casino Resort all accept pets. Confirm size limits and fees before booking, as pet policies vary.
  • Free breakfast included: Inn at Parkside, Glen Morey Country House B&B, Holiday Inn Express El Dorado Hills, Aggie Inn Davis, Rocklin Park Hotel, Holiday Inn Express Lincoln-Roseville Area, and Days Inn Rocklin/Sacramento all include free breakfast. Given the spread-out nature of the Sacramento metro, free breakfast eliminates the need to drive to a restaurant before starting your day.

I went as mom to get away from life ...just me time ... I cannot say enough good things about Eden vale. The staff is impeccable they walk you through everything when you get there .they are there whenever you need them. the grounds were awesome if you love to read books you can play musical chairs they have so many chairs to relax inthere .it's just amazing... They also offer massages and if you have Erin... She is absolutely the best I stayed for 1 night I wish I could have stayed for more.. The breakfast was delicious also and a good selection of coffee in the room and you really gotta try the bottled water really good. I will definitely be going back.. It's a place where you just can't take enough pictures and at night it is so quiet are you here it's just the frogs.. And the wind chimes.. Thank you staff for a nice relaxing get away.
Lovely, well maintained b and b in the countryside. We loved the fireplace and the tub on the private patio and just wished we had had time for the firepit. We were so at home there we ordered dinner in to maximize our time there. The breakfasts are delivered to your room and were delicious. The owners are very helpful and rightfully proud of what they have accomplished.

Absolutely perfect weekend getaway! The owners were so sweet and accommodating . The breakfasts delivered to the room were 12/10 some of the best breakfast food we’ve ever had. The property was beautiful with so many peaceful spots to sit and enjoy the views. The property and rooms felt secluded like we had the whole place to ourselves. Absolutely telling all our friends and family about this hidden gem!

I had a fabulous time at Eden Vale; it was a spontaneous visit for one night while I was in the area, and I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. My room was perfect for one person and I like having the private entrance; it was very clean, with a comfortable bed, great bed linens and bath accessories, nice furniture, and my windows overlooked the woods and pond area so it felt very rustic. It was pleasant to walk around the property and enjoy the views of the surrounding hills. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Karen, the owner who helped check me was super friendly and informative - her warm personality provided a nice start to my all too brief stay. I plan to stay again if my travels bring me anywhere close to Eden Vale and I need to (or decide to) spend the night. I'd recommend this Inn to anyone!

This was our second time staying here. The rooms are great- clean, nicely furnished, cute. They now have in person check in. The staff person was very nice and offered suggestions for eats and drinks in the area. We scootered and walked around to various spots. Almost wish it were located in a different area. However, We enjoyed our stay and would return.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Serenity Suite in the Parkside Villas building (next door to the main building at the historic Fong Mansion). Our room was clean and comfortable, and the giant jacuzzi tub in the room was awesome. We also got a spa package that melted away the stress of months of wedding planning. (Their downstairs spa area is beautiful and relaxing) The hotel is in a great location near so many tasty restaurants, and only a ten minute walk to Beers Books!

You will not find a more amazing room for a better rate in downtown Sacramento than the Harmony suite at The Inn and Spa at Parkside Inn. Bedroom, living room, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom with spa tub. Amazing staff in a great location. Don't think twice if it's available.

We rented the Destiny Room and everything was just as described! My husband and I were very pleased with our whole experience. The woman working there even let us check in early. They also responded very quickly to all text messages. And another thing we both noticed, was that the room was set to the PERFECT temperature.
This is the most unreasonable property that I have ever dealt with!! The owner is nasty and condescending!! I'm only getting started on sharing my knowledge of them! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM WITH THIS PROPERTY!! The music world and fans of music will not want to associate with this property moving forward!! You very well may regret it if you do!!!
P.S...as noted in the previous negative review and pictures on the website, they absolutely advertise a "spa bathtub" in one of the rooms as noted by the pictures showing a beautiful, jetted tub! Her entire review is spot on! The owners reply to her review shows his condescending and nasty attitude! Not a way to treat his "customers"! He is one nasty human being!!

Title: Misleading Advertising and Disappointing Experience

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Review:
My recent stay at the Parkside Inn in Sacramento, California was a complete disappointment. The room I booked showed a picture of a luxurious spa tub, which was the main reason for my choice. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that there was no spa tub in the room. The pictures were a false representation of amenities the website is highly misleading and deceptive.

Furthermore, the hotel's name suggests the presence of a spa, and their website even mentioned available spa services. However, much to my dismay, there were no spa services offered at all. which is confusing and does not align with the advertised services. Additionally, the website boasted about being a historical bed-and-breakfast, but the reality is that the place is sparsely decorated with an Asian theme.

Moreover, the breakfast they offer was at an additional cost. The experience. It lacked the charm and historical significance that one would expect. The overall ambiance and decor of the establishment were a far cry from the inviting and cozy atmosphere I had anticipated.

I feel deceived and let down by the Parkside Inn. The misrepresentation of amenities and false advertising created a false expectation that was not met during my stay. I strongly advise against considering this establishment for anyone seeking a spa experience or a traditional bed and breakfast atmosphere.

If I could give no stars I would. The customer service is terrible. I asked to change the reservation or cancel it. Something happened with me and we couldn’t make it. I asked the night before my reservation and they said they can’t cancel or change reservation. They charged $400 for one night and they are saying here $200! Terrible.

This was our second stop on our honeymoon and an absolutely fantastic experience. Our concierge, Sentry, was absolutely awesome. As the rooms were not very booked up when we went, she took us around to see the rooms that weren't occupied. She picked up on how cool we thought the rooms were and offered us a walk-around the facilities and every room was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was the Happiness suite and it was absolutely amazing. We are short, and that certainly came in handy. As beautiful as it is, I would not recommend if you are tall.

They left us a complimentary wine which was very much appreciated and the color-changing skylights and the hot-tub were such cool parts of the room. Incredible honeymoon location!

We have been staying at Marriott's across California for years now. I am a bonvoy member as well. I wanted to be close to the city of Santa Cruz so thought Capitola would be nice. The location was perfect! So so so glad we did not stay at the Marriott in Santa Cruz near the boardwalk. That area is very busy, but great if you want easy access to the boardwalk, the bowling alley, laser tag, the video arcade, the beach, and the wharf. Otherwise, you have to pay $20 to $30 a day to park. However, the Marriott in Capitola is far quieter and literally if you head down 41st Ave you head straight into some of the most stunning Pacific Ocean ? beach and surfing coastline you've ever seen. There is a free lot at the end of the street and amazing restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is nice too. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi which tends to crowded often. The breakfast is till 10 am everyday and there is a small nice patio to eat on too. The breakfast isn't bad. We were on the third floor with a pull out sofa, which is twin sized and two queen beds. It was very quiet on the third floor. It was made that much nicer because our room had a sliding glass door with a walkout balcony. It was nice to get fresh air in everyday. The staff were very helpful. There is free hot coffee and tea and hot chocolate in the lobby all day. The nice thing is the parking feels very safe and secure because it is located under the hotel and is gated. You can walk down the street to a very nice movie theater and shopping mall. It's about 10 minutes to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk as well. Make sure to check out all the amazing redwood state parks within 20 to 30 minutes!

The room was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen is temporarily down, so the host left us a complementary bottle of wine in the room. She made sure we were well taken care. The jet tub and multi-head shower were amazing! Well worth it, we will be back!
