If this review is helpful, please make sure you give it a like 👍👍. Okay, so there is a lot to say about this hotel.Let's start with the good stuff, Location is the best thing about this hotel. The beautiful old Grand Lobby would be the second nicest thing. The third thing is, the staff is very friendly at the front desk. The thing that made me dislike this hotel was the room. Because this is in an older East Coast hotel. The rooms are incredibly tiny. The bathroom was so small. If you were sitting on the toilet, your face was literally in the tub (see photos). There was no extra chair in the room for relaxation. The only chair was at the desk. So there was nowhere to lay out things. The remote control for the television is one of those universal ones. This made it extremely hard to change the channel. Or do anything with it. I would say if you're gonna stay here because of the great location. Make sure you opt to get a more premium room. The basic king-size room will surely disappoint you. On a lighter note, the bed slept well, and the hot water pressure was great. But again, if you're over five foot seven, the shower is so short it's going to upset you.

Stayed here for 3 days/2 nights for a work Christmas party. At check in I had an issue with the front desk trying to take my credit card to charge even though it was paid for through work, which while wasn’t a huge issue, it was time consuming and frustrating. It ended up being a new employee that didn’t know what they were doing. Upon check in I was happy with my room. It was a corner with great views. However, when going to bed and plugging in the alarm clock and my phone charger I started smelling something burning. I called to the front desk and they said someone would be up. An hour later after no one showing and needing to get to bed for early meetings, I called again and was told they would just be switching my room. So I had to pack everything back up and unpack again. The second was an interior room and just had a view of the other windows; not a nice as the first, but no problem. Until the following afternoon while sitting on the chair in the room a mouse ran from under the bed, scurried around a little then ran back under the bed. I called the front desk and was moved once again. So 3 rooms in 48 hours. While my work paid for the stay, I could not have imagined paying $175 a night for this. It may have just been bad luck on my part as I don’t think any other coworkers had any issues, I was completely unimpressed and have less problematic stays at 2 star hotels for $80 a night.

The Omni William Penn was absolutely amazing! It was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. Our family had a wonderful time. We have a family of four so we got a double room. The room was so spacious, great seating area, bathroom was great. The hotel amenities were wonderful and appropriate for what we needed. The room was very clean, the only thing that was missing was a coffee table in the sitting area. The hotel is in a great location, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We ordered Door Dash and had a picnic in the room after we came back from the show and watched a Christmas movie. We also appreciated the safety of the hotel. You needed a room key to access the elevators so random people off the street couldn't just come in. Even with several events going on, the hotel rooms were very quiet. The kids loved it, we loved it and we will definitely be back.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the William Penn Hotel. It is historic, nicely maintained and beautifully decorated for Christmas. All staff were helpful and professional. We had a drink at The Tap Room. Nice, casual atmosphere. We also had an outstanding dinner across the street at Ritual House. Valet is $45 a night so we opted for underground garage parking across the street for $20. It was a lovely early holiday stay. We recommend. I only wish there had been a nightstand on both sides of the King size bed. Not comfortable without a place to put a glass of water and rest my phone and glasses.

The lobby was beautiful, with an amazing smell (we couldn't put our finger on it). Very clean hotel. Our room was very spacious! The biggest hotel room we have every stayed in! The bathroom both looked and smelled clean. The king bed was very comfy. Booking was super easy, and they even accommodated my wife's request for my birthday surprise, a big piece of chocolate cake and some sparkling wine bottles; a very nice gesture. Everyone was very nice in Pittsburgh. The hotel has a valet option that is quite pricey ($45). A note to other guests you can just park across the street in an underground lot (that felt safe) for $8 a day.The fact it's the Christmas season was even better as the hotel was decked out in decorations, including a massive tree in the lobby. We will definitely book this hotel if we ever come back to Pittsburgh it was A++. Really good location!

The mansion provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration, with its historic charm and luxurious amenities setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Being conveniently located near a fantastic steakhouse was a delightful bonus, as we indulged in excellent appetizers and cocktail drinks before our festivities began. After a delicious meal, we continued the party at a nearby sports club, dancing the night away to our favorite tunes. The complimentary breakfast at The Sayre Mansion the following morning is a delightful start to the day! The breakfast spread offers a perfect balance of flavors and variety. Came here for my girlfriend's 40th birthday party. She had gotten us the entire "cottage" behind the mansion. This was in itself a mini mansion. There are 4 suites that we had to ourselves and we had the best time. Very accommodating and had everything we needed! It was the best time! Can't wait to come back again. The breakfast was very good too!
