One of my favorite places to stay! The rooms are great and the location is perfect. The pool is always a great time. SOOOO many options in the area to select from.
My stay at SLS Brickell in Miami was an exquisite blend of luxury and personalized care. The hotel's attention to detail, especially for special occasions, made it a memorable experience.
Celebrating my friend's birthday at SLS Brickell was exceptional. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a surprise dessert and champagne in our room, setting a festive tone. The room service breakfast stood out for its quality and variety, enhancing our morning experience. Additionally, the unique 'Sugar Lips' gummies and the thoughtful 'Love Box' in the room added a playful and convenient touch to our stay. Unique Features to Highlight: Personalized birthday celebration with dessert and champagne High-quality room service breakfast 'Sugar Lips' gummies and 'Love Box' for added convenience and fun Stylish and comfortable rooms with modern amenities
Our phone in the room did not work, it had a busy sounds and the front desk called maintenance and it still wasn't fixed.
Elevators have the worst design I have ever seen. Pictures of people on the walls that give the illusion the elevator is occupied by multiple people. The exact opposite thing you want to make guests feel when using the elevator. Hilariously bad. Highly recommend changing it.
Blackout curtains did not work. Woke up every morning at 7am to the sun blaring through the sides of the curtain. Hard to get real sleep here.
We were 2 adults & 2 kids (12) in 1 room. The hotel is beautiful and well located. Rooms are specious and indulging (nice mini-bar, robes, slippers, coffee machine etc.). The pool is amazing! One of the nicest I've seen. We could use a continental breakfast but they don't offer it. Also, the bathroom/shower door was a sliding door so you can't fully close or lock it which is weird. Great staff and the shuttle service is unbelievable! So happy we stayed there.
They made me feel like home when checking in and really started tone for our stay. When staying at a hotel like this you want the start your vacation or stay with great Vibes and they where so happy and pleasant to talk to. They even gave awesome recommendations. Thank you
An interesting hotel in East Village that has quirks. Highlights were the shower (excellent strength and temperature) and value compared to other hotels. Cafe area is good with fun skeeball machine (which can be loud for other guests).
We stayed in a double room. Room is in good condition with sizeable shower. Lack of storage space and hairdryer was poor. Cleaners did not leave water 2-3 times during a 10 night stay.
Reception staff are standard. Polite but didn't go above and beyond. Did respond to email prior to booking.
£30 daily charge can be redeemed at the cafe. The cafe is decent but quite expensive, so we received 2 coffees and 1-2 small pastries for £30.
Overall, did the job with a couple of quirks but not much more. Happy but not ecstatic. 7/10
Had an amazing 5 night stay! Room was small but it's NYC.. it's expected! Room design makes the most of what space you have! Everyone was super friendly.. helped us with early check in and a late check out! The hotel was so quiet... literally didn't even feel like New York when we were sleeping it was so calm and relaxing! Excellent location in the LES- best food spots and close to train stations. Only cons are no mini fridge and the floor is extremely slippery so be careful lol.. also the rooftop is not actually at the hotel as advertised but it is apparently next door.. the few minor cons aside, will definitely be back! Thanks Moxy!
Had a great stay visiting the city for 1 night. Mack, at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and super helpful. Was a pleasure to be welcomed by him. Gave us great vibes for the night right off the bat. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The shower had great pressure (most importantly) and was also clean. Great location. Nice bars inside with great happy hours. Will absolutely be staying here again. Sure the rooms are small, but it's NYC people!!
Generally, I don't get this type of hotel. Who thinks anybody wants to stay in what I'd describe as dorm room meets Home Goods? What made it worse was the execution. The vinyl floors are sticky and peeling. The shower is slippery, and the water flow was inconsistent. The sink in the middle of the room is entirely unnecessary - I don't want to hang towels on pegs by the TV. The pillows were super uncomfortable. And the blackout shade didn't work - to be fair, I did not care enough to switch rooms, since I was on the top floor and the privacy shade still worked.
Only thing I liked was the extra twin bed in addition to the queen. I used it as a couch. I also got housekeeping on my 2 night stay, which was unexpected, and the housekeeper was probably trained at a luxury hotel.
I already dislike style over substance, and here it's like Marriott didn't even bother trying.
I loved staying at the Moxy! The room was super cute (very modern and unique aesthetic) and Maria (it might be spelled Marya, sorry if I've got it wrong!) was AMAZING and gave us an upgrade to a corner suite when we checked in! Her cheerfulness, humor, and enthusiasm started our trip off on a great note. We loved the free breakfast, the cute bar, and the great rooftop. I've traveled to NY a few times for work and I've never stayed in such a quiet hotel room--there was hardly ANY noise from the street, which made the room so relaxing and calm (plus the beds were so comfortable)! We had an amazing stay and I definitely recommend the hotel!
