We stayed for one night and were pleased to discover that the room was clean, well-maintained, and we had lots of pillows!
Since both of us often will be on a laptop at the same time for a while, we needed an extra chair. We asked at the front desk, where the two clerks didn’t know if they could do that but quickly called “Dave” who told them to loan us one from a conference room—we were very pleased with the quick solution to our need and happy that they took the initiative to get it done. A step ahead of many hotels I’ve been in lately.
As for breakfast, it was a nice spread. Eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, a selection of cereal and yogurt, and a nice, hot pot of oatmeal. Also, the nice young woman working the breakfast was friendly and helpful (again, appreciated). I didn’t eat it all, but after surviving the sparse breakfast offerings and recycled eggs at so many hotels lately, this was a welcome improvement.
This hotel is in the middle of a collection of gas stations, car lots, a Walmart, and next to an interstate. Regardless, it was quiet, comfortable, and we slept well.
Bravo! What a pleasant and unexpected experience! Thanks to the management and staff for a wonderful stay.
We were told they were fully booked, so we were glad we had reservations. We were upgraded to a king suite without any reason given or word about it from the check-in clerk (I’m guessing they had double booked our standard king room), so that was a nice surprise.
The upgraded room had both a walk-in shower and a jetted tub. Also, there were some little extras, such as an additional full set of bedding in the closet, which I think are standard in all of the rooms here. The pillows are full size, rather than those tiny squares that have become common in other hotels.
The desk clerk was professional. Not overly friendly, but she seemed tired as though it had been a long day. She was nice enough and did her job well.
Parking was decent with a few spots still available despite the late hour of our arrival.
Breakfast was decent with limited options.
The front desk attendant - Kilee who was SO rude and had an attitude from the start. Just based off the interaction from the front desk, this Hotel will never be on our list again.
I called the front desk back and she made the change in ten seconds. She told me that she was instructed to tell everyone that they have to make changes through the call center. This lie cost me a significant amount of time, and cost the hotel all my goodwill.
It literally took less time for her to make the reservation change than it took her to tell me to call the reservation center and give me the phone number to it. And that's to say nothing of the cost of the lost goodwill. This was a horrible decision by the hotel management.
Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
Breakfast the next morning in their restaurant was great.
I only wish we were staying for a few days!
Breakfast options are amazing. Be advised that it is not a complimentary breakfast. It can be charged to the room bill.
