Leavenworth Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Leavenworth, Washington

Best Time to Visit

  • Winter (November–February): Peak season. Leavenworth's Christmas Lighting Festival (three weekends in December) is the single biggest demand event of the year, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Bavarian village. Hotels across the entire town fill completely - book 8–12 weeks ahead for December festival weekends. Bavarian Lodge, Enzian Inn, and Hotel Pension Anna are among the first to sell out.
  • Fall (September–October): Second busiest season. Leavenworth Oktoberfest runs two weekends in October and is one of the largest Bavarian festivals in the United States. Cascade Mountain fall color peaks in October. Book 6–8 weeks ahead for Oktoberfest weekends - nearly all properties fill.
  • Summer (June–August): Strong leisure demand driven by hiking in the Enchantments, river rafting on the Wenatchee River, and outdoor festivals. Blue Elk Inn's pool and Icicle Village Resort's outdoor amenities are popular in summer. Good mid-week availability even in peak summer.
  • Spring (April–May): Quietest season with the best availability and lowest prices. Maifest in May brings a modest bump in demand. A good time for couples seeking a Jacuzzi suite at off-peak rates before summer hiking season begins.
Booking tip: Leavenworth has the highest concentration of "Perfect choice for couples" and "Top Rated" badges of any market in this guide - nearly every property carries both designations. Three properties share a perfect 9.9/10 rating: Bavarian Lodge (most reviewed), Solstice Suites, and Mountain Home Lodge. Prices range from $58/night at Evergreen Inn to $290/night at Enzian Inn. The Christmas Lighting Festival is the one period to book months in advance - it is the most in-demand hotel weekend in all of Washington State east of the Cascades.

Important Booking Tips for Leavenworth

  • Christmas Lighting Festival (three weekends in December): The single most in-demand hotel event in Leavenworth - and one of the most competitive booking weekends in all of Washington State. Every property in town fills completely, often weeks or months in advance. Book 8–12 weeks ahead for December festival weekends without exception.
  • Oktoberfest (two weekends in October): Leavenworth Oktoberfest is one of the largest Bavarian festivals in the United States. All properties fill for Oktoberfest weekends - book 6–8 weeks ahead. Prices spike significantly above regular fall rates.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking. At properties like Enzian Inn and Obertal Inn, Jacuzzi rooms are a specific category - always confirm at the time of reservation.
  • Mountain Home Lodge for total seclusion: Mountain Home Lodge is set in a private meadow accessed by a steep mountain road above Icicle Canyon - offering a level of seclusion not found anywhere else in the Leavenworth market. Individual cabins with spa baths and gourmet breakfast make it the most immersive romantic retreat. Note: access requires a 4WD or AWD vehicle in winter conditions.
  • Best budget option: Evergreen Inn at $58/night is the most affordable Jacuzzi hotel in Leavenworth by a significant margin - though it carries a lower guest rating. Howard Johnson ($101/night) offers the best combination of low price and couples-friendly designation among budget properties. Blue Elk Inn ($145/night, 9.0/10) is the best value among top-rated properties.
  • Nearly every property is couples-rated: Leavenworth has an unusually high density of "Perfect choice for couples" and "Top Rated" designations - more than any other market in this guide. Even mid-range properties like Leavenworth Village Inn and Icicle Village Resort carry couples-friendly ratings, reflecting the town's identity as one of the Pacific Northwest's premier romantic getaway destinations.

If you really want the Leavenworth experience, book your stay here. The decor is fantastic, it's centrally located, and the staff is very helpful. We didn't take advantage of the Woodsman Pub because we were too tired after walking around the village and having dinner. However, you are encouraged to bring pub drinks to your room. The only strange thing about the room was no desk. I guess you should be out having fun and not working. A really great thing about the room was a HDMI connection build into the wall, so you could stream a show and have it appear on the TV. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the potatoes. If we come back, we will stay here again.
This hotel was very clean and in the best possible location you can be in, however for the price, I expected a bit more. It just didn’t have that luxury service or feel you expect when paying $400/night. The biggest problem for me was the bed, which is really the most important thing a hotel has to offer. The bed was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs below. I like a firm bed but this was so hard my limbs kept falling asleep keeping me awake all night. Again for the price, I was shocked at the lack of effort put into the mattress, as I have stayed at much cheaper hotels with way better beds.

Beautiful lodge, nicley decorated, front desk staff are great!
Location is perfect, right in the heart of town, restaurants and shops are walkable. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfortable. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool without anyone else.
The only downside for us was the complementary breakfast and the breakfast staff. I had asked one of the staff to confirm if the scrambled eggs had meat, she had to get another staff person. That staff, was snippy when confirming, yes the eggs had meat. I then heard her talk about it in the kitchen. Rude kitchen staff!
5 stars for the hotel, 1 star for breakfast staff.

Service at front desk was very proper, Lounge very simple relaxed wine & appetizers with soft conversation. Room had beautiful view of mountains in the heart of town. Great location. Super clean everywhere coming from a picky person. Prices for all lodging is steep but worth it for Bavarian including free breakfast coffee buffet in the morning before 11am down stairs. Don’t waste time making coffee in your room YUK! All kinds of assortments down stairs Quite impressive. We came @ end of August but I can’t wait for winter time to return. What a lovely place. I give a 4 because I am aware of other unaffordable lodging that should get the 5 stars. this is a high 4 !!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location can't get any better. Hotel is older but rooms were well-appointed and spacious. Staff was very friendly and there is plenty of free parking for hotel guests. The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs were also nice.

Very nice staff at reception and at breakfast. Wonderful breakfast! Good views and a very nice lady playing the Alpen Horn.
The hotel is old and it shows a bit. Nonetheless, for everything that matters, we were very comfortable! Quiet room with a large balcony and a very comfortable king bed. Lovely pillows! Coffee making facilities and a refrigerator in the room. Plenty of space.

Absolutely lovely hotel! My husband and I had a romantic weekend here last fall and loved it so much that we brought his entire family along this time! There is something for everyone with mini golf, game room, a basketball court, movie nights, pools, and hot tubs! We could have spent our entire weekend just in the hotel and been thrilled. Also, the included breakfast is out of this world and FAR exceeds anything I've ever gotten at a hotel! Our family raved about the pancakes and omlettes the entire trip!

Wished we could have used all the amenities. But all the choices were awesome! Loved that it had an adult area! Plenty for family activity choices! They use old fashioned keys which was hard since one really didn't work.

Our family stayed at the Enzian Inn from Tuesday, Aug. 6 – Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024. The best word I can use to describe the Enzian?: Wholesome.

This place was absolutely perfect for my wife and I to share many memories with our 7-year-old and 4-year-old. Walking the halls, you might think the property is a little dated but don’t let it fool you. The furniture, comfy beds, and wood work will alert you to the fact that it is a very nice hotel. And even if it doesn’t, the Enzian has the ultimate intangible…charm.

Although it was our first time visiting Leavenworth, the Enzian just feels like a place that is familiar and tight-knit. People come back year after year and we found out why. Both pools are awesome. They are spacious, long, and comfortable. The outdoor pool had such a great vibe as we made new friends and really enjoyed both the mornings and evenings reading our books poolside while our kids splashed. The hot tubs are nice as well with the indoor one being my favorite.

The breakfast is as good as advertised. Not only is it delicious but just the atmosphere itself is so homey and nice. The Alporn concert is a nice touch and the people who play them are so gracious and kind. The downstairs family room was utilized immensely by the four of us. We played ping pong, pool, skee-ball, and shuffleboard while catching bits and pieces of the movies and eating way too much of the popcorn. One night we even ordered pizza and ate it in the family room just because we enjoyed it so much.

The golf course is immaculate and such a unique amenity that is offered with the room rate. We played the course three times. The location is superb. You walk a couple hundred yards and you are smack dab in downtown Leavenworth.
The rooms themselves are nice. We had a pool balcony room and I loved the natural sunlight that would fill our room. The refrigerator is small but at least there is something to keep your drinks cool. My favorite aspect of the room was the luxurious shower.

Even though it was our first time at the Enzian Inn, there is no debate about it, the place is special. If you have a family and are looking for a vacation spot, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Enzian Inn. The value and experience won’t let you down.

We were very happy with our stay. Rooms were nice and clean. The only downside was room location, and kids running very loudly down the hallways. Next time I'll request a top floor. But the amenities were lovely, always had cold cucumber or lemon water around and loved the adult only pool area. We will definitely be back.
