Eugene Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Eugene and the Willamette Valley, Oregon

Best Time to Visit

  • Summer (June–August): Peak season. The Oregon Country Fair in July, University of Oregon summer camps, and the Willamette Valley wine season drive the strongest demand of the year. Hayward Field track and field events - including the US Olympic Trials when hosted - can fill Eugene hotels city-wide. Book 5–7 weeks ahead for July and August weekends, especially during major Hayward Field events.
  • Fall (September–November): Oregon Ducks football season drives significant demand from September through November. Home game weekends at Autzen Stadium fill hotels across the entire metro. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for any Ducks home game Saturday, particularly at downtown and UO-adjacent properties like Holiday Inn Express and The Campbell House Inn.
  • Spring (March–May): Willamette Valley wineries reopen for spring tastings, and the Eugene Marathon in late April draws runners from across the Pacific Northwest. A comfortable time for couples seeking a Jacuzzi retreat near the Fifth Street Public Market or along the Willamette River.
  • Winter (December–February): Quietest season with the lowest pricing. January and February offer the best rates at Parkway Inn, La Quinta, and the Cottage Grove corridor. A cozy time for a rainy-day Jacuzzi getaway in Eugene's historic Pearl Street district.
Booking tip: Eugene's Jacuzzi market has two distinct tiers: traditional hotels ($94–$339/night) and luxury private homes ($426–$1,600/night). Among hotels, Holiday Inn Express Downtown ($169, 9.6/10) and Comfort Suites Eugene ($339, 9.3/10) are the top-rated options. The Big Pink House ($1,600, 10/10) and On the River lodge ($1,046, 9.6/10) are extraordinary private estate experiences for special occasions. Charming Eugene Retreat ($158, 9.9/10) offers the best value among private homes. Oregon Ducks football weekends are the most important booking variable after summer - check the Autzen Stadium schedule before reserving.

Jacuzzi Configurations in Eugene

  • In-bedroom Jacuzzi (most common among hotels): Tub placed in the room itself. Found at The Campbell House Inn, Cottage Grove Inn, La Quinta Inn & Suites Eugene, Parkway Inn Eugene, and Comfort Suites Eugene.
  • Bathroom-installed spa tub: Jacuzzi integrated into the hotel bathroom. Found at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eugene Downtown, Valley River Inn, The Big Pink House, and On the River.
  • Private outdoor hot tub (private homes): Outdoor hot tub in a private garden or patio setting. Found at Redwood Home, Charming Eugene Retreat, and Charming Home with Garden and Hot Tub - all residential vacation homes booked through short-term rental platforms.

Important Booking Tips for Eugene

  • Oregon Ducks football weekends (September–November): Autzen Stadium home games are the single most powerful pricing variable in the Eugene hotel market during fall. Hotels across the metro fill on game Saturdays - book 4–6 weeks ahead for any Ducks home game weekend. Downtown and University District properties are affected first.
  • Hayward Field major events: When Eugene hosts the US Olympic Track & Field Trials or the NCAA Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field, hotel demand spikes dramatically across the entire city. These events are less predictable than football but can fill the market to capacity - check the Hayward Field event calendar when planning summer stays.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking to avoid a standard room at check-in.
  • Luxury private homes for special occasions: The Big Pink House ($1,600, 10/10) and On the River ($1,046, 9.6/10) are extraordinary private estate experiences - featuring chef's kitchens, hidden theaters, boat docks, and fire pits alongside private Jacuzzi tubs. Both are best suited for anniversaries, honeymoons, or group celebrations and require booking through vacation rental platforms.
  • Best budget hotel options: Parkway Inn Eugene ($99/night, 9.0/10) is the most affordable top-rated Jacuzzi hotel in downtown Eugene. Cottage Grove Inn ($112/night, 9.0/10) offers a charming small-town alternative 20 miles south. Valley River Inn ($94/night) is the lowest-priced Jacuzzi hotel in the market but carries a significantly lower guest rating.
  • Charming Eugene Retreat for the best private-home value: At $158/night with a 9.9/10 guest score, Charming Eugene Retreat offers a private outdoor hot tub experience at a price competitive with mid-range hotels - making it the best value among all private homes and one of the most affordable 9.9-rated properties in any market in this guide.

I loved my stay in the Stephen Suite.

Comfy bed, fireplace, private balcony (wish it would have been better weather - but hey, then I wouldn’t have used the fireplace). Only steps from the bike path which I hold so dear! The whirlpool tub.. such good scones with breakfast, plus my nightly glass of wine! It was all so wonderful.

I grew up in Eugene and have always wanted to stay here. You did not disappoint, thank you, Campbell House!

Needed a place to stay for one night while doing an event at U of O and stumbled upon this place online. Chain hotels were charging $200+ and I was debating that or a cheap airbnb.... and then I found this place. I reserved their smallest room which was just fine for 1 person and it came out to less than a chain hotel and this place included breakfast!

It is in a historic home so expect creaking floors and weirdly shaped rooms and all of the charm. The staff are lovely. You get an old fashioned key and small TV and I loved it all. Got in after dinner and warmed up by the roaring fire with some tea and free cookies. And woke up for the best hotel breakfast ever -- they make it to order and the chef is amazing.

Plus the hotel is up on a hill so it's quiet but also just a few blocks away from the market and restaurants. So you're near downtown Eugene but away from it all - aka the dream.
Would absolutely come back again!!
The people at the Campbell House were amazing. I was stuck in Eugene due to a snow storm and they went above and beyond to take care of me!!! True kind wonderful human beings. Too grateful for them. Will definitely come back here because these people were so kind and helpful!! And the chef of the breakfast is an amazing chef!!!

We just finished a wonderful stay at Campbell House, and enjoyed everything about the Inn. From our arrival, Abby at the front desk was very friendly, and allowed us to change our room to better suit our needs. We brought our small dog with us, and everyone there was very helpful and pet friendly! The complimentary cookies, coffee and glass wine were very much appreciated and enjoyed, and the cooked to order breakfast was just excellent. What a wonderful oasis just a couple of blocks from all the downtown Eugene activities! The best hotel of our three week road trip, for sure.

Soo very happy this place came up in our search for a place to stay! A hidden gem that made our short stay in Eugene extra special! The staff was wonderful! We each received a complementary glass of wine and were offered breakfast but we chose to get brunch in town. Although the breakfast options sounded delicious. This inn has so much charm! It was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We look forward to the opportunity to stay here again next time we are in Eugene. Thank you so much!

A great place for our stay in Eugene. Nice room and beautiful grounds. Delicious breakfasts and a glass of wine in the afternoon to wind down made for relaxing days.

The main house is absolutely gorgeous and the grounds the same. The carriage House that we stayed in was nicely kept. We had everything we needed for a nice evening. A couple minor complaints was I couldn't get the heater to work right and the bathroom sink kept backing up. All typical things I suppose. My biggest gripe was that loud train horn late at night early in the morning.

This establishment is perfect- business, gypsy, student, lust soul- you are treated the same. I paid less each night for amazing rooms than in other private and corporate hotels. Spend a night here. You’ll always remember that night.

The Inn is in a beautiful spot and the staff is welcoming. We very much enjoyed the complementary glass of wine, and the breakfast. We were a bit disappointed the that the jetted tub didn't work (would not turn on) the hot water dispenser was also not working, nobody answered when we called 0. Overall, though, the room was very nice and quiet and comfortable.

This is a great hotel. It is clean snd welcoming. The rooms are well done - they were thoughtful about how a guest uses a room - places for luggage, hooks, toiletries which are refillable instead of plastic throw aways. Will stay with this hotel again.

Booked for 1 night in October for a concert. When we arrived told someone "might" be in our room. They call room, no one answers, they give us key to room. Go to room and someone is already occupying, their stuff is all over the room. Got lucky in that my wife figured it out and left room before occupant came back. Told front desk, they got us new room, tried to apologize and told me to talk to manager in the AM for discount on the room because we booked thru 3rd party. Manager "not avaliable" when we checked out. Left my number and modest request for them to cover the tax on the room due to mistake. Never heard back. Disappointed by lack of follow-up. Situation could have been dangerous and resulted in confrontation. People don't expect strangers to walk in their room.

I just watch the lot for them I haven’t yet stayed here just because I live in town but I know some of the employees and they’re really nice they’re friendly and they take people seriously. Their parking lot is a little small because there’s not enough parking in Eugene anyway, but the interior I would know I would just know what the lobby looks like it looks friendly, inviting in like a common place to chill out.
My go-to hotel chain when traveling to Eugene, Oregon, is because I know what to expect when staying with them. Clean, spacious room. They provide regular-sized bottles of bath products instead of small sample sizes. Breakfast is always delicious, with bacon, eggs, yogurt, coffee, and, of course, their famous cinnamon rolls - so yummy! They also have laundry machines available. There's parking both outside and in the parking garage. This hotel tends to be quite busy during college events, so be sure to book ahead of time.

This place is great for track meets as it's close to Hayward field. It has amazing food spots close, also a Dutch Bros right outside can't beat that. Room service is fast and good. Rooms come with all the amenities you would need to have a good stay. Plus you can tell they really clean the room and don't spot clean. Great hotel.
