Booked this at short notice. Didn't disappoint. Quite the opposite in fact. Spacious, spotless clean, superb location, lots of little extras. Loved it. Benoit was a gentleman and happy to help with anything if needed. Would happily stay again if I visited again from Ireland
Perfect location to explore the area. Beautiful walks and the small but cozy center is a 20-minute walk.
Benoit is an excellent host. The room is spacious and well laid out with a sitting area and sleeping area. We recommend it. Wonderful place.

We have been coming to Hyphocus Inn for more than 10 years and love the place. Recently, the property changed hands and this time, we met the new owner Benoit. He is continuing the great job that Kevin did over the years, including improvement of the surroundings and great breakfasts (simple but tasty using high quality cereals and fruits). Benoit was very attentive to all our needs and quickly responded to any additional requests we had. In addition, he is a charming guy interested in marine biology and generally marine life and it was fun talking to him. We were relieved to see that Hyphocus Inn is in good hands and will keep coming back. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the forest in your own little paradise, this is the place to be. Kevin our host was welcoming, and provided excellent service. The room had a fireplace and candles, and coffee in the morning. Perfect place to stay especially for storm watching.

If I could give this property a 1000 out of 10 I definitely would. Kevin, the host, was delightful. The breakfast he made for us was absolutely delicious.
The room was huge, exceptionally clean, cozy, and very tastefully decorated. The jet tub was so nice after a long day of hiking.
It is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town for food and drinks with many gorgeous places to stop along the way.
We will definitely be staying here when we return to Ucluelet!

Great location with nice amenities that was spacious and comfortable. The bed, the fire place (w/complimentary fire log), tub w/jets and heated floors were lovely. The water pressure and temperature was great. Suite also had cable TV and high speed internet.

I would suggest when booking to stay in the upper suite as foot steps and such is very audible in the lower unit. Additionally, a microwave in the room would be nice.

All in all, it was a great place to stay in Ucluelet at a good value. The host Kevin is also a very nice fellow.

A fabulous, cozy spot for a relaxing getaway. The breakfasts are stellar and the open concept room is beautiful. The large wall of windows looks out on a gorgeous forest and water view with frequent heron spottings. The double-sided wood fireplace and large jacuzzi tub make it a perfect romantic retreat. The wall of windows lacks curtains however, so if you're the type of person who needs complete darkness to sleep, bring a sleep mask with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful bed and breakfast!!

my fiance and I spent three days here for my 26th birthday it was such a delight. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming! the suite was nice and cozy beautifully decorated wood burning fire place, double Jacuzzi tub and queen sized bed! with a beautiful view and a little patio to sit on.

Breakfast was brought to us at our choosing time and was served with hot coffee! every morning we were surprised by a different yummy breakfast!

I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a cozy warm and welcoming suite with awesome breakfast and a great atmosphere!

I stayed at the Loden over the Eras tour weekend. Most of the time I am traveling with my family so I don’t wind up in boutique places like the Loden very often, but let me tell you this place was a TOTAL treat! First off, the design of the room is so fun! I loved discovering that you could open the wall/door between the room and bathroom to give it a more open feel as needed, and close it at night. The bed was comfy. Loved the Nespresso machine too. I came into a handwritten welcome note and a complimentary bottle of water and wine. They brought left an afternoon snack every day (and that is how I learned that my room had its own doorbell!?!). They also left lemon water and digestive cookies by my bed as a turn down service, which was really appreciated after scream singing my head off at the concert. They also turned on a video of a fire on the TV for an added nightly touch of coziness. The lobby had different treats and teas/bottles of water at different times of the day you could grab. Everything was decorated so festively for Christmas. And the restaurant that was connected to it was so good for breakfast. The front desk staff were the happiest people. My only regret is that I didn’t get to try the fitness center which looked great, but I had too much exploring to do in my two days there. The location of the hotel is really nice too as it is walking distance from so many places. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking around at night and it’s only a few blocks from Canada Place and the seawall.

January 2025: this was our second stay and it was just as excellent. The staff is amazing, room and bathroom are a pleasure to be in. We were there NY week. We enjoyed all but two meals in the adjoining restaurant Tableau, because it is so good! The location is perfect, central to everything.

First visit:
Everything was fantastic!!
We stayed 3 nights with our 2 small dogs, during a very cold and snowy period. The hotel, location, staff and service is perfect in every way. It’s very quiet and super close and convenient to everything.
We’ll definitely stay again for future visits to Vancouver.

Hard to believe it advertised as a 4.5 Star Hotel. We stayed in a 5 Star up a block from the Loden and it felt like a 4 Star! Long story short, the Loden should qualify as a 5 plus Star Hotel. From arrival for our 5 day stay to our departure the staff were nothing short of kind, caring and amazing. The 2 rooms we had were pristine and was a pleasurable stay. We won't be staying anywhere else next time we are in Vancouver. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the Loden team for the great experience. Made our stay in Vancouver an experience to remember..??

My recent stay at the Loden Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Here's why I loved it:

Location (5/5):
The Loden's downtown location near Coal Harbour is a dream for exploring Vancouver's best attractions.

Dining (5/5):
Adjacent to the hotel is Tableau Bistro, a fantastic French restaurant. Their room service was a culinary delight.

Service (5/5):
The staff's warm and professional service made me feel like a valued guest from check-in to check-out.

Amenities (5/5):
The beautifully appointed rooms ensured a comfortable and rejuvenating stay.

In short, the Loden Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Vancouver, offering a perfect blend of location, dining, service, and amenities. I can't wait to return.
We stayed at the The Loden for the first time and it was wonderful. From our arrival to the very end. The staff was not only friendly, they actually came across as genuinely wanting to provide a welcome experience. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The location was central with all the necessities and many amenities nearby.
We also went to the restaurant, Tableau Bar Bistro. The food was delicious and the service was just as wonderful.
We look forward to returning to The Loden, and enjoying it all over again.

Wow - so impressed with this hotel! The customer service is top notch. If you want to be treated like a celebrity, come here! My husband and I did a mini one night staycation for our honeymoon until we can afford a longer trip elsewhere and I’m so happy we picked this hotel. We wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night. They have truly thought of everything here and focus on the small details that make a big difference. Everyone we dealt with was awesome and we can’t wait to come back again.
It’s an excellent hotel! My husband and I, along with our grandchildren, stayed at the Loden before departing on a cruise to Alaska. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. They arranged for us to see Vancouver, which is a wonderful city. The rooms were spacious and modern. The restaurant at the hotel has outstanding food. I highly recommend this hotel!

When is the best time to visit a hotel with a jacuzzi and hot tub in the room in Vancouver?

Vancouver is beautiful year-round, but if you’re looking to make the most of your jacuzzi and hot tub experience, consider visiting during the fall or winter months. From October to February, the cooler weather outside makes the warm water experience even more inviting. Additionally, these months might offer off-peak rates in some hotels. However, remember that Vancouver can be rainy in the fall, so if you’re looking for a mix of outdoor activities and relaxation, the spring and early summer, from March to June, are also great choices with milder weather.

Vancouver's unique geography means many hotels offer rooms with spectacular views, including those with Jacuzzis. For the best views, consider hotels located near the waterfront or in higher buildings in downtown Vancouver. Be sure to specify your preference for a view when booking.

What additional amenities are common in Vancouver hotels with a Jacuzzi in room?

Beyond the Jacuzzi, these hotels often offer a range of amenities aimed at enhancing your stay. Common offerings include complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site dining options, fitness centers, spas, and sometimes indoor pools. These might include champagne on arrival, late check-out, or special decor in the room. It's also worth contacting the hotel directly to discuss any specific requests or surprises you're planning; many are happy to accommodate special touches to make your stay memorable.

How far in advance should I book a hotel with a Jacuzzi in Vancouver?

Due to the popularity of Jacuzzi rooms, especially during peak tourist seasons or around holidays, it's wise to book several months in advance. Early booking not only secures your preferred dates but may also lock in better rates. Keep an eye out for early bird specials or seasonal promotions for additional savings.
