Huntsville Hot Tub Hotels — Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Huntsville and the North Alabama metro area

Best Time to Visit

  • Spring (March–May): Peak season for Huntsville. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center draws strong spring break crowds in March and April. Panoply Arts Festival in late April and the Huntsville Botanical Garden's peak bloom bring additional visitors. Book 3–4 weeks ahead for spring weekends near the Research Park corridor.
  • Fall (September–November): Excellent shoulder season with mild Alabama temperatures. Redstone Arsenal-related government and defense conference traffic keeps mid-week demand steady. A comfortable time for couples seeking a Jacuzzi getaway near the Space Center or downtown Huntsville.
  • Summer (June–August): Hot Alabama summers keep leisure demand moderate outside of Space Camp sessions. Point Mallard Park water attractions in Decatur are busiest in July and August. Business travel to the Research Park and Redstone Arsenal remains consistent year-round.
  • Winter (December–February): Lowest leisure demand and best pricing across the metro. Holiday events at Bridge Street Town Centre and the Von Braun Center keep some December demand. January and February offer the best rates for a budget Jacuzzi stay across Madison, Decatur, and the airport corridor.
Booking tip: Huntsville is a notably affordable Jacuzzi hotel market for a tech-driven city of its size. Most properties fall between $61 and $127/night, and several strong-rated options are available under $100/night. La Quinta Madison ($91, 9.0/10) and Best Western River City Decatur ($88, 8.8/10) are standout values. Redstone Arsenal-related events and large NASA/defense conferences can cause short-term demand spikes — check the Von Braun Center calendar when booking.

Jacuzzi Configurations in Huntsville

  • In-bedroom Jacuzzi (most common): Tub placed in the room itself. Found at La Quinta Madison, Days Inn Space Center, Quality Inn & Suites Decatur Priceville, Embassy Suites Huntsville, Garner Hotel Madison, Best Western River City Decatur, Econo Lodge Decatur South, Hilton Garden Inn Huntsville South, and Quality Inn & Suites Research Park.
  • Bathroom-installed spa tub: Jacuzzi integrated into the hotel bathroom. Found at Four Points by Sheraton Huntsville Airport, Quality Inn Athens I-65, and Element Huntsville – a Marriott Hotel.

Important Booking Tips for Huntsville

  • Check the Von Braun Center calendar: Large NASA conferences, defense industry events, and Redstone Arsenal-related gatherings can cause sudden demand spikes across the entire metro — particularly in the Madison airport corridor and south Huntsville. Always check the event calendar before booking.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking to avoid a standard room at check-in.
  • Best budget options: Days Inn Space Center ($61/night) and Quality Inn Decatur Priceville ($61/night) are the most affordable Jacuzzi hotels in the metro, though both carry lower guest ratings. Best Western River City Decatur ($88, 8.8/10) offers the best combination of low price and strong rating in the market.
  • Decatur for a quieter stay: Best Western River City Hotel and Econo Lodge Decatur South sit along the Tennessee River near Point Mallard Park — a good alternative for couples who want a more relaxed setting away from Huntsville's tech-sector hotel traffic, at lower prices than comparable city properties.
  • Airport corridor convenience: La Quinta Madison, Garner Hotel, and Four Points by Sheraton are all within 2 miles of Huntsville International Airport. Ideal for travelers who want a Jacuzzi suite with easy early-morning or late-night airport access.
  • Space & Rocket Center visitors: Quality Inn Research Park ($89/night) and Days Inn Space Center ($61/night) are the closest Jacuzzi hotels to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center — practical choices for families or enthusiasts making the Space Center the primary destination.

Pro: Ok area, easily accessible, well lit parking lot.
Con:
- Floors are a weird stickiness from applying cleaners but never rinsing with a wet mop (makes a sticky sound when walking around. Bugs crawling around (not just once, grounds likely need a good spraying).
- Dead bugs found strewn about the noticeable unswept room.
- Had to ask for a broom/mop/vacuum twice because when they offered to move us, the replacement room was dirtier.
- Thin walls and floors mixed with a busload of highschoolers didn't help much either

We checked in and the room smelled to me like lavender which I’m allergic to, I started to break out and come down with a bad migraine, we asked them to get the room re cleaned because I was allergic to it. We left to get food and came back and the room smelled even stronger, I couldn’t physically be in there. The manager told us they couldn’t move us to another room, and won’t refund us because we “used the room” when all we did was dry off in there with the towels in the room because there was no towels in the pool room.

I can’t physically be in the room, they won’t do anything about it, we are leaving and disputing the charge to the card with the bank. I want my money back NOW someone better make it right or I will take some kind of action, I have a pretty good following on social media and I don’t wanna have to put this on blast but I will so help me god. I have a pretty good lawyer too and believe me I’m petty. Someone reach out to me ASAP

The hotel needs a good cleaning and facelift. The walls were nasty in our room, stains in the carpet and the furniture was pretty scuffed up. It says nonsmoking hotel but people were smoking in the hallways and rooms. There was a huge party below us with kids that looked like they were in high school. Our room sounded like a club. The music and party was LOUD. Our phone in the room to call the front desk was broken so I had to go downstairs to ask the front desk to break up the party THREE times. The front desk said the kids had been kicked out and acted like that’s about all he could do. The party was still going strong. We had small children on our trip that needed to sleep. It was VERY late before we were able to go to bed and had an early morning. The best part was they were out of coffee at breakfast. This place is a joke and I would definitely not stay here again.

This is a hotel for dogs, not people. I swear I have seen over 20 dogs in this place. The hotel staff are lazy. We called to the front desk to get towels sent to our room. After an hour I figured no one was coming, so I went and found a housekeeper and got them myself. Next problem the floors are so thin. There was a child or a dog running above us all night. Im guessing the guest beside us thought we were making the noise so they banged on our wall all night. Called and said something to front desk. Apparently nothing was done because it continued all night. Also the bathroom light does not turn off. Overall a very horrible stay. Never again. Lazy staff. Horrible stay. Staff do not care about guest at all.

Although the beds were comfortable, there is more to a pleasant experience than just the beds. The room was in major disrepair. The dresser was damaged, the desk chair was in terrible shape, the air conditioning unit vent was broken, cobwebs in the window, electrical socket coming out of the wall in the bathroom and the smell was that of multiple layers of Fabuloso. The staff was pleasant, and the breakfast was your typical hotel hot breakfast. We chose to stay here for proximity to an event and based off of photos the hotel website posted. This was definitely disappointing and not worth the money. Stays like this remind us why we are Hilton and Marriott members.

The front desk clerk was super friendly and nice. She put us on the first floor in room 107. The room was starting to fall apart. The desk chair looked like it had been chewed apart at the top. The desk itself was sinking in the middle. The bottom of the dresser had wood missing on the bottom portion. The walls were dirty as well as the sitting chair in the corner of the room. The AC unit appeared to have possibly mold and looked as if it was never cleaned. The beds were hard and made noise every time you moved in the slightest bit. Breakfast was ok. This is the only
La Quinta I would absolutely not return to or recommend.

Wyndham has been building many nice, new La Quinta's and they are really nice! They've also been refurbishing and updating the older ones, and most of those have been very acceptable. This isn't one of them. Y'all have heard the term, "lipstick in a pig"? That applies here. Sure it looks nice and there are many updates, but there are many glaring problems showing through. The powers that be need to go back through this hotel and redo many of the problems. And be advised there are no good eating establishments around and nothing to do around the area. Totally devoid of entertainment.

We stayed here for four nights while we were doing some major work on the house and it was a great place to stay.

They really did treat us like family. Desk staff were friendly and chatted with us if they weren't busy, asking how we were doing getting settled in and how our work was going. The lady who ran the continental breakfast was just as friendly as the rest of the staff and meticulous about keeping everything clean.

Housekeeping had the room looking fresh and new every day, and I didn't have to call for anything.
Breakfast was awesome! The staff in the breakfast area served a delicious breakfast and kept it clean.
To get to the hotel was a little challenging because you cannot enter directly by crossing over.
The front desk staff were more concerned about finishing up what they were doing which was fine; how er, a would you mind waiting, I must finish and will be with you. Once they finished they didn't say, "I apologize for the wait " Customer service training is needed.
The bed in my room was horrible and I tossed and turned all night. It was too late for me to change rooms. I was in town on business.
It is a beautiful hotel.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. First room spotted a tiny red bug on the white bedding. After flipping the blankets and mattress over, spotted an adult bed bug shell on the underside of the base valance. Immediately went to front desk and the worker didn't seem to be phased at all by this information. Moved us to another room on another floor and found another adult bed bug shell in almost the exact same location.

Even if the bed bugs weren't prevalent here, plenty of other red flags pop up just simply walking to your room. The hallways look like they haven't been swept in a month and you can forget about any type of wet-vac. The bedding has all types of marks and tears that indicate they aren't washed and replaced when they should be.

Pay more money for the neighboring hotels becuase when you bring that infestation back to your home it will cost you thousands.

The management is absolutely above and beyond. We had an issue I was trying to figure out after booking through a third party, where the third party made the original situation even worse.. Long story short, Comfort Inn fixed the problem the problem AND helped us even further to address the original dilemma. They did not have to do this but chose to help make my life a little easier. Would absolutely recommend 🙂 Thank you again!
Clean, nice staff, close to a lot of restaurants and stores. There is road construction in the area right now. We enjoyed every minute.

Our room was very large! Sink, counter, cabinets, 2 burner stovetop, a fridge much bigger than most -- maybe 4.5 feet tall with separate freezer & fridge as you walk in. Two sinks in the bathroom, 2 queen beds, and a sofa bed. The sofa was "L" shaped and was more comfortable than the pull out sofa bed. My daughter slept on the long part of the sofa rather than the sofa bed. There was also a table with 2 chairs, a desk with a phone & notepad & pen, a nice desk chair and plenty of places to plug in devices to charge. The room also had a closet with a suitcase holder & ironing board & hangers and also a padded bench to sit on. We had room 402 and it has a huge space in it -- probably 20' × 8' of free space - from foot of beds to desk one direction (8ish ft) and from counter & fridge by door to back wall by a/c & window (20'? 24'?). Wonderful!!! We enjoyed the breakfast as well: scrambled eggs, bacon, instant oatmeal packets, cereal, bagels, muffins, breads, waffles you can make, juices, coffee, milk, etc. Comfy beds, too!!

Nice hotel, but perpetual construction in the front of the building makes it hard to get to. Road is in shambles and the noise from construction makes daylight rest nearly impossible. May be better in a few years.

This place is a great location. Like 1.2 mile walk from Bryant Denny Stadium. I'm a big guy so anyone can do it. You are within walking distance from everything. They have a ton of little shops and stores on University Blvd. Plus there are a ton of restaurants and bars go get some food and drink.
