Don't let the outside motel sign fool you. The inside is in good shape.
Got a room with a queen bed. Room comes with a good size fridge (not a mini but an actual small fridge) and couch area. Got a room by the river, which made it a nice view at night. Not over the most beautiful portion of the river, but still nice.
Was relaxed and was a quiet area. Good pillows/bed. Room was clean and appropriately furnished. No toiletries in the room though (except bar soap), so need to bring your own! Side note, the room has a Samsung tv so can connect wirelessly with a windows computer. Supposed to be able to mirror with MacBook, but couldn't get the tv to be on the same wifi connection.
Close to downtown. 3 minute drive to yarn & tea store, olive oil store, coffee shop, pizza place, and gift shop. So good for gerting up to go and do morning activities/exploration!
Don't expect a quality 5-star hotel or it being like a double tree hilton, but good for the price and location.
This was the worst hotel o have ever stayed in. The location was shady. I was awakened at 3 am by some guy outside my room yell & cursing. He was back out there around 4:40 am cursing and beating on a nearby door. The "breakfast " was a joke. I paid way too much for this room! I would never stay here again. Did I mention the roach that was roaming the room? Yuck!
Great place to stay. Room was big; much more than we expected. Place was very quiet. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again if we are back in the area. Highly recommend.
Excellent value. Staff were friendly and attentive, bent over backwards to put us in a room that our motorbike could be parked directly outside. Rooms were clean and quiet, didnt use the exercise room or the pool but they also appeared nice and clean. Walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores too. Breakfast couldn't really be called breakfast, not good at all. But the rest was fabulous.
This was a great value for the money. Our room was very clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the A/C was cold (very important for me), the shower hot, and there’s a nice view. Absolutely recommend!
The staff were amazing, always friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The pool was closed for the season, but it was cool out while we were there. Outside of that everything else was great.
The Comfort Inns are always clean and great bedding with 4 pillows on every bed. The continental breakfast is ready early in the morning for us early risers. Always feel safe anywhere on their properties.
Walked in, turned on lights and the bed had bugs crawling all over it!! I dont know if they were bed bugs or fleas but i wasnt sticking around to find out!! We ran straight back out. Of course booked through Expedia and no cancelations so have to fight to try to get the money back for 2 rooms we walked in and straight back out of. This place had good reviews, so I booked it after hours of research, and driving through the night. So upsetting! We will see if they make it right and return our money
Room was very humid and everything was always damp despite having the AC on for hours and even setting it to “dry” mode. The windows had no screens and didn’t close all the way or lock. The pool had green water and was closed because of that. We had hoped to swim in the pool. There was drywall damage in the room that wasn’t fixed. Bathroom had no exhaust fan or toilet plunger. There was a nasty natural gas smelling exhaust vent on the side of the building with oily looking water draining over the sidewalk.
We had to take a detour on our long trip and stopped into this hotel after a long day of driving. Since we have Choice Hotel discounts we were treated very well. The staff was very accommodating to our needs for the night. The breakfast was better than most of the recent hotels we have been in. Many of these so-called continental breakfast are getting to be rather slim in most hotels but this one had a small warm buffet which included eggs.
