Location is prime and central DFW - AC unit blocks the highway soundsBreakfast. Multiple flavors of batter (chocolate, strawberry, regular) for the TX shaped waffle maker made all the kiddos pretty perky at sunrise. There's a digital machine that makes espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, coffee, etc at the touch of a button. A little light on the protein items, if your diabetic or watching carbs - you'll not be able to eat much. Hash browns, biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels, whole apples, and multiple juices were available.Laundry...out of order.Showers were able to get plenty hot, but the pressure was "meh" at best ... And the soap/shampoo/conditioner provided didn't dispense in any usable amount, despite my best efforts.Staff were all so friendly and kind. Wishing you well. Offering directions around. Extending checkouts without a hassle. Genuinely caring about their jobs.

I stayed here over the Christmas holiday weekend. We drove 5+ hours(with kids) from Oklahoma and didn’t arrive til 1 am, checkout is at 11, at the time of arrival I couldn’t find my id anywhere. I actually had to order a new one once I got home. The reservation was non refundable and the front desk person said there was nothing they could do without my id. The ONLY solution was to create a new booking under my husband’s name and for him to pay DOUBLE what I already paid. Since it was late and we were all tired we went along with it.So here’s my issue, I understand the room was nonrefundable. I was not expecting cash back but sometimes things happen and I am shocked and sorely disappointed that there was no way to accommodate us without taking more money out of our pockets. There was no exception to the rule in which we could’ve gone to our room for the mere 10 hours we had left on our booking? There was no discount code that could have been applied to my husband’s booking so we weren’t paying such an additional amount out of pocket? There was no voucher that could’ve been offered for a free nights stay at a later date? This is not the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel as my parents are elderly and I come down to visit them. I don’t know if it’s common courtesy that has fallen by the wayside or customer service is no longer encouraged, but it was very disheartening during the holiday season. On top of all that the elevator was broken, but I guess we were supposed to accept that with no qualms.

Clean, quiet room with bright pastel photos reflecting the nearby entertainment options (football, baseball, amusement parks). Breakfast was good, with eggs, yogurt parfait options, waffle makers, and a Nescafe coffee machine that made various specialty drinks. Firm beds (which we liked).

All-in-all, the rooms seemed clean and were fairly nice. I hate hotel TVs that use SpectrumTV and have a scrolling guide that you can't navigate.Pretty decent continental breakfast as long as you don't pay attention to the posted times in the room and you make it down in time. Our rooms were on the highway side, which was extremely noisy and woke some in our party up a couple of times. So bring ear plugs & you'll be fine. There was a smell of weed all around the premises, but fortunately not in our rooms. We stopped at the nearby gas station and it did not give us confidence about the neighborhood. It's a real shame. But at least it was priced well & it did make it (mostly) worth it as long as you're willing to put up with the things mentioned above. Change a couple of these things and I would consider adding another star.

Was a great place for what we needed it for, a guys weekend watching baseball. Was nice to have two queen beds and a pullout couch so we didn't have to bring an air mattress. Rooms were clean, as were the lobby and breakfast areas. Only complaint would be the pillows... Very firm.

I booked through what I thought was La Quinta’s website (I even received a text message and email with their hotel heading) but when I tried to modify my reservation I discovered that Wyndham works closely with Priceline and that my reservation was actually booked through them instead of the hotel directly. Priceline will not allow modifications and when I called La Quinta/ Wyndham’s site, they said that they could not help me since I placed my order through a third party. They would never give me the contact number for the direct hotel. This has been such an incredibly frustrating experience. I would have never purchased my reservation through Priceline. I had no idea I was doing that and have multiple emails and messages from “La Quinta” and nothing from Priceline. This is very deceiving and down right dishonest. Now I will be out $200 and do not have anyone who will listen to me since they both say that it is the other’s responsibility. Shame on you La Quinta/Wyndham and Priceline for being so dishonest and sneaky!

The front desk staff, particularly the front office manager, demonstrated exceptional customer service during my stay at this property. However, regrettably, I experienced several issues during my visit that have left me with an overall negative impression of the establishment. This was my second stay at this location, and on both occasions, I encountered problems. During my first visit some years ago, I was chased by a dog and had to seek refuge by jumping onto the front desk counter, despite the owner's assurance that the dog did not bite.During my most recent stay, I paid a fee to check-in early and requested a poolside view room, which I did not receive initially (335). However, the hotel staff was accommodating and promptly changed our room upon request. Although a tree obstructed the pool view from the new room, we decided not to move again (301). Unfortunately, the room was in a deplorable condition, with evidence of leftover food, hair in the sink and on the toilet, and candy stuck to the nightstand table. We brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they promised to clean the room while we were out. Upon our return, the room was still not clean, causing further frustration. We were relocated to another room (635), which also did not provide a pool view. Although the hotel advertised the sixth floor as a pet-free, business-level, we discovered that this was not entirely accurate, as a resident sneaked in their dog through the back door. Additionally, the hotel hosted the Ruff Ryder biker club for their annual meeting, which resulted in overcrowding, noise pollution, and general disturbance to other guests. The biker group hosted a meet and greet event in the parking lot, which resulted in loud music and motorcycle revving, leading to a more unpleasant stay. The hotel advertised an early breakfast start time of 5:30 am; however, when we visited the breakfast area at 6 am on Sunday or Monday, the attendant informed us that breakfast was not ready as she had to run both the kitchen and the front desk. Although the GM, Bill, had his contact information displayed throughout the hotel for guest concerns, I did not reach out to him as I was eager to leave the property due to the numerous issues encountered. In summary, while the front desk staff, particularly the front office manager, provided exceptional service, the issues encountered during my stay have left me with an unfavorable impression of the La Quinta Inn brand, regardless of location. You would come out cheaper just going to Super 8 or Motel 6 and get the same or probably better quality than you get here.

We originally booked a different hotel for a concert and that hotel (NOT La Quinta) had cockroaches. We were frantically looking for a hotel since everything in the area was booked. They had someone cancel their room and Abigail at the front desk was amazing and exactly what we needed after the day we had. Then we went to the bar and met Johnathan who was so kind. The staff here is absolutely incredible and if I come back I will not be staying anywhere else.

Extremely clean!!!! I read some reviews of poor housekeeping, but this was NOT our experience. From the common areas to our room, everything was spotless. Breakfast area was large with enough room to navigate around other guests. Location was the only disappointment due to all the road construction. Will return if in the area again.

I stayed here on 1/29/2023. I am here for a business trip. First impression was decent. Then when I checked into my room was it freezing! ( it's already 33 degrees outside) so then I turned the temperature up. After 10 mins past the thermostat just went completely blank! And the heater is no longer working, I then politely called front desk, the older gentleman said "okay I'll have some one up there to check it out " 2 hours passed. I call again the woman says "okay I'll have someone come" then called back to ask if I can attempt to reset it. I said "that's not working". They say "okay I'll have someone come up and check it out, so now it's has been another 2-3hrs. No one comes. I called back and tell the older gentleman "hey, no one came up to my room, may I just get another room?" The older gentleman replies "why do you need another room?" I replied "because I don't want to freeze all night" he says "I'll have someone come up right away!" Hours have passed. I called again 3 times he's no longer answering my calls, went to front desk he's not there. Moral of story don't stay here ! It's so cold out here and I have to freeze all night. Horrible customer service! Also May I add, the tub has permanent dirt stains. Yuck!

No hot water in shower, phone was dusty filthy. What else wasn't cleaned? Ceiling had dirty stuff on it, don't want to know what, just don't look up!Front desk was never helpful or friendly. Actually very rude more than once.Shuttle driver was texting & playing on cell phone while driving. Nearly ran a light.Shuttle forgot about us more than once when we had called for a pickup.Multiple poor experiences with front desk staff. Zero customer service....I wouldn't stay here again. & cannot recommend the place. We didn't utilize bar/restaurant services. We cannot offer opinions on that portion of hotel.Hotel's appearance was decent. Except having a cooler in the lobby for ice. Odd....Breakfast was decent. However staff not available for assistance in breakfast area...Disappointing after seeing the exceptionally high ratings for this hotel. Maybe other guests didn't interact with front desk or shuttle staff....
