It just is not a $900+ a night hotel. There is hardly any staff, and the staff that are available are not friendly… probably because they are so swamped. So, expect to wait for everything you do or just do it yourself. Valet was a mess, there was no one to help us with our bags, while we were waiting 20+ min for check-in, we tried to get drinks but the bartender was so backed up we never got them. I had made a reservation at the restaurant, and after arriving on time we were told it would be 20+ minutes… so while we waited, we attempted to get drinks again and it was the same story! All amenities are available to the public, so there really is no point in staying here. The rooms are decorated beautifully, but are showing some wear and have little to no storage. It’s a great spot to meet up and gather with friends and use the amenities. Just not worth the money to stay IMO.

Overall, it was a great experience: friendly staff, nice rooms, incredible festive decor, great cocktail bar, convenient location, valet recommended. The only reason I’m not giving this place a 5-star rating is due to being overcrowded. It took quite a while to check-in, order a single round of drinks at the bar (over 15-minutes in line), and we had no success finding a seat in the lobby or outdoor courtyard during our stay.We came for a quiet couples getaway and were surprised to find the place completely packed with families and large noisy parties (mid-week) which we weren’t expecting. Originally, we thought this was an exclusive property, however, it is open to non-hotel guests which contributed to the swarms of people at the bars, lobby, and outdoor areas. If you are a guest — avoid getting a room overlooking the courtyard — especially if you are a light sleeper. Unfortunately, you can hear everything from the rooms above. Nice property, however, for what we paid it wasn’t the quiet and relaxing experience we were anticipating. We booked a dinner reservation months in advance at 97 West, arrived 15-minutes early only to be sat 15-minutes past our reservation. In hindsight, you can enjoy the amenities without staying multiple nights.

Marriott did an excellent job with the decor and design of Hotel Drover by bringing upscale luxury to The Stockyards. Both back-of-house and front-of-house staff act very friendly and they all go above and beyond to accommodate guests. The rooms feature comfortable bedding and plenty of space. The staff keep the rooms clean and tidy, and perfectly decorated to stay on theme. I found it clever that the hotel provides a pricing list of certain items (from beverage/food in the mini bar to decor pieces and other amenities) for guests who want to take something with them after their stay. The hotel also offers free luggage tags (branded with up to two letters) for guests to take.My spouse and I didn't try the food but, we did try the beverages from the bar. The bartenders need to work on consistent measurements/pours.We spent most of our time in The Stockyards area and liked the convenience of the hotel's location - in the heart of the action!Overall, we enjoyed our time at the hotel. It can cost a lot and, because we spent much of our time off property, we will likely stay at a more cost-friendly hotel in the future.I do recommend that you stay at Hotel Drover for your first time to The Stockyards!

My favorite place to stay in the Fort Worth area! This place has an incredible aesthetic that is both western rustic and modern. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave our dog a treat and a bandana as a welcome gift. The room and bathroom were beautiful, offering all that you want and then some (including glass shower door). Our view was of the back area, which included a pool and river. By the river is a great place to walk your dog and enjoy more of the local ambience. At the front is a nice sitting area and, less than a couple minutes walk away, several restaurants (many of which have an outdoor sitting option that is pet friendly). Although this was just a quick stop for us on a cross country trip, we are planning to return so that we can enjoy the area, and the hotel, again! Highly recommend!

Great hotel! I would definitely recommend. Beautiful spaces inside and outside of hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lobby bar staff seemed overwhelmed with only one bartender present on a busy late afternoon. However, my margarita was very nice. Our king room was lovely with very nice shower and comfortable bed. Pillows a bit uncomfortable Note, you don't have a mini-fridge, only a stocked mini bar which you can unload and reload if you need space. All in all, great place to stay!

Loved our saty. Verry clean and quiet. With kids it gets challenging. Our room was very spacious. We loved that we were 20min or so from all our activities. We will be back. And we highly recommend

Access is relatively challenging from either interstate, but the hotel is modern, clean, and very quiet. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms huge (bigger than ours at home), the beds comfortable. Alas, the frig is of the mini variety, and not amenable to refreezing our stash of dry ice overnight. Worse yet, we woke up to a room well below 70 degrees; the fans were so quiet that we were unaware that the AC was switched on and running all night long. Check your thermostat!Breakfast was the usual mid-range hotel fare, but the indoor pool and hot tub are a real treat that we much enjoyed after a long day on the road.We look forward to staying here again in the future. This is the nicest of the Fort Worth area hotels that we have used over the last decade.

Our hotel stay was absolutely lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and stunning. The bed was soft and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have ever experienced in all my many hotel stays through the years. Pool and hot tub were nice. No complaints at all. Highly recommend.
