Addison Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Addison, Texas and the North Dallas suburbs

Best Time to Visit

  • Spring and Fall (March–May, September–November): Best weather windows for North Dallas. Taste Addison in late May is one of the largest food and music festivals in Texas and draws strong weekend demand at Belt Line Road hotels. Oktoberfest Addison in October is another significant local event. Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead for those specific weekends.
  • Summer (June–August): Hot but steady demand from Dallas metro visitors and corporate travel. Grapevine's lake recreation keeps north corridor properties busy. Good availability mid-week across all Addison and Carrollton properties.
  • Winter (December–February): Lowest pricing window. Grapevine Christmas capital of Texas events in December spike demand at Grapevine properties for a few weekends. January and February offer the lowest leisure rates across North Dallas suburbs.
Booking tip: This guide spans a wide North Dallas suburban corridor including Addison, Carrollton, Dallas (Mockingbird), Allen, Lewisville, and Grapevine. These cities range from 5 to 30 miles apart. Addison and Carrollton are closely clustered north of Dallas. Allen, Lewisville, and Grapevine are farther out along the DFW Metroplex. Check the address before booking to confirm it suits your destination.

I was skeptical at first because of some of the negative reviews. But I was quiet happy with my experience, both front desk ladies were nice. My room was excellent and cold ❤️ . I enjoyed studying in the lobby and it was convenient for my event this weekend. And everything is on beltline🤣 so dont let the negative reviews scare you this place is great and I will be booking this place next time I'm in town.

Waitress named Aya was extremely RUDE. It was astonishing just how rude she was after serving us breakfast. When she asked me how I would like my eggs cooked, I requested that they not be runny. When she brought them out to me, they were runny. The potatoes were hard and cold. I decided to not say anything because I was tired and just wanted to drink my coffee and leave. She came back and asked how the food was. I just calmly responded something along the lines of “It is what it is … so never mind.” It was at that point that she became hostile and argumentative with me … demanding to know what it was that I didn’t like about it. I then complied with her request to know and showed her the runny egg yolks. Instead of apologizing and offering to cook them some more or to bring out some eggs fixed the way I had requested, she stood there and told me that I was lying and that the eggs were cooked exactly as I had ordered them. She would not let it go and became increasingly hostile and argumentative with me about it until the whole situation actually ended up in a shouting match between us and the lady at the front check-in desk came over and took her by the arm and pulled her away from our table. However even THAT was not the end of it because she came back out later and made a point of just standing there and glaring at me. I said not a word to her UNTIL she started in at me yet AGAIN. Aya’s behavior was totally unacceptable!

EDITED to add - let me also say (because I forgot) the kids had a room 2 doors down and I didn't realize that their room had a terrible smell to it - either sewage-y or moldy - don't know what. I felt bad that it wasn't till day 2 that I realized it (and it wasn't them). As for the hotel response, I am not sure what they can't see and smell for themselves? The poorly patched walls - it's impossible to miss!

Location works for what we need - as we are here for a wedding. That is the only thing it has going for it. I am wildly un-impressed with this hotel. I am usually pretty picky with where we stay - so a 4.2 rating seemed like it would be fine. The mattress is comfortable - the pillows are terrible. The water damage to the walls is throughout both rooms that were booked. Lack of ventilation in the bathrooms means for a VERY foggy shower - tub is tired and just either permanently stained or poorly cleaned. Wish I had read recent reviews before picking this hotel. But we are here for 3 nights and just sucking it up and dealing with it. Staff are nice - no complaints there. But I am all about a good room and bathroom - and this isn't it.

While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the overall condition of the facility left much to be desired. The building showed significant wear, with visible cracks in the walls and ceilings. The gym was poorly equipped, and the treadmill had a loose belt that nearly caused an accident. The pool appeared unclean, with a musty odor that made it uninviting. Additionally, the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Due to these issues, I ultimately chose to check out early and continue my stay at a different location. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. While it was about a 25 minute drive to the convention center, I didn't mind because of how quite the area was around the hotel. It was close to plenty of restaurants and easy to access the highways.
The staff was friendly and kind during our entire stay. The room was clean, beds pretty decent, and water pressure was amazing.
The room coffee was much better than many places and offered liquid creamer. Hotel has a clean outdoor pool & hot tub. Breakfast was an additional cost.
My daughter and I stayed here for a cheer competition. The staff handed out small gifts to the cheerleaders and set up a photo-op. This competition required us to stay at specified hotels based on agreements with Varsity. Pricing was higher than normal costs for this reason, but I'm unsure who causes the upcharge, so I'm not going to hold it against the hotel. I feel like what we paid was still okay due to the quality of the stay.

Please do not stay here. We showed up late due to a flight. There was 7 cops, a guy warning me not to stay, people outside doing drugs, I talked to a pair of guest who frequent there who said this place is not safe, the cops being there is not abnormal. I asked for a refund and got a room at Hyatt. Please do not waste ur time. The owner was nice but I didn’t even make it to my room because I was terrified for me and my children, would never ever go back. The photos online the website are lies. I don’t even write reviews but I don’t want what happened to me to happen to anyone else

The rooms were horrible and dirty. There was something on the doors, someone's old hangers left in the room, and floors/furniture was dirty. The furniture was old and broken. The hotel stunk bad, reeked of animals and smelled musky with plug ins trying to cover the smell. The service was okay, and one of the people at the front desk locked himself out. During checking out from the snack shack they had, we had to wait in the guy to get back to the desk (you purchase the food and drinks at the front counter) because he was not where to be found. Then when he came back we had to wait on him to go outside and find a stick to get his keys and pull them to him to go over and counter and unlock the door. Their snacks and drinks are way overpriced, and the ice machine only worked 2 out of 4 days. The first floor had dogs (we stayed 4 days) and it reeked and Smelled of dog feces and urine. We were on the third floor but had to walk up the stairs by these rooms because the elevators are broken. Also during the Continental breakfast they could not keep it stocked (you had to continuously ask for them to refill things), and we saw 2 roaches crawling around. The trash can I. The dining area is located right next to the counter with the food. The gym was closed, and the pool was dirty (it had some kind of filmy layer of something in the top of the water). The water smelled like rotten eggs, and when they have events (which was not made known when reservations were made) there is no parking and you have to walk. There were people loitering outside and smoking marijuana, it reeked when walking in. The location however was fairly convenient. But overall you get what you pay for, and trust me pay the extra and get something better.

Shout out to Steve at the front desk for checking me in his customer service was above and beyond. I work in hospitality management and I know a good worker when I see one very much appreciate all of his assistance. And any questions I had he was sure and prompt to answer. Their amenities are up and open and very nice. It's small. It's an a quiet little area. You have a view of a golf course from your window. I'm on the 3rd floor the police do rounds throughout the night for safety so you don't have to worry about solicitors. So that's peace of mind. The only complaint I would have would be the elevator doors. I attempted to catch the elevator and hopes of stopping it from closing the door I stuck my arm in there and almost lost it. So other then that choose Quality inn suites. It's worth the spend you won't be disappointed.
