The hotel is stunning and comfortable—a gorgeous, historic property perfectly located. But it’s the staff that are most remarkable. Going above and beyond, they transformed an unfortunate situation into a blessing.

My husband surprised me with tickets to see Stevie Nicks, and had a reservation at the AC Hotel since April. The concert was originally in August, then rescheduled to late November. Husband updated reservation accordingly. Upon checking in, we were immensely disappointed to learn that they did not have a room for us—despite proof of reservation confirmation and receiving an early check in email the day prior.

The manager said he could secure a room for us at a sister property, The Lytle Park Hotel. We were an hour within the concert starting, so time was of the essence. Packing up the car and relocating was an inconvenience and a setback, considering we still needed to grab a quick bite, freshen up and get to the venue. Feeling helpless, we had no other options.

We can only assume the hotel was oversold due to the event. Still, I travel frequently and as a longtime Marriott/Bonvoy rewards member have never had issues with a longstanding reservation.

Upon arriving at The Lytle, Ryan, Lilly and team were incredibly gracious and accommodating. Having been made aware of the situation, they worked swiftly to get us checked in and Jeff at the bar was fabulous in whipping up a delicious pizza quickly.

Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious, and we were generously gifted with complimentary drinks and breakfast in celebration of my birthday. A kind gesture that made me feel special and seen during a challenging moment.

Thankfully, the venue was a short and safe walk away. We did miss the opening act, but were in our seats in time to see Stevie take the stage. Crisis averted.

The exceptional service and humanity received by the Lytle Park team made up for the poor management experienced at the AC. We left feeling satisfied and grateful. Our sincerest thanks to Ryan, Lilly, Jeff and team for thier kindness and understanding. The next time we venture to Cincinnati we will not hesitate to stay at the Lytle Park Hotel.

The Lytle Park Hotel was nothing short of amazing. Jordan at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helped us get checked in. Our room wasn't quite ready yet so he offered us a drink voucher while we waited. When we got to our room it was very clean and very comfortable. Later that evening, we took advantage of the complimentary Escalade shuttle to and from dinner at a local restaurant. The driver was very pleasant and gave us menu tips for the restaurant. The next morning we had breakfast at the restaurant and our server was wonderful and the food was prepared perfectly.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel and our experience. If we're ever in Cincinnati again, I would quickly book a room at this hotel. Highly recommend.

Attended a private event in the roof top vista bar; we had the outside deck to ourselves which easily accommodated the 47 guests. The bar team were friendly and patient and the views were great, so we had a very relaxed Friday evening at the end of September. I didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment on those but would recommend the bar if you want something a bit special. The approach to the hotel is through a small pretty garden with a fountain, which adds to the feel of this being quietly nestled away despite being just minutes from down town action.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at The Lytle Park Hotel, Autograph Collection. While I want to begin by acknowledging that the staff on-site were kind and clearly doing their best, it was evident that the hotel was severely understaffed and not managing guest experiences to the standard expected of a high-end Marriott property.

When paying $650 per night, I expect exceptional accommodations and service. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that.

Housekeeping was unacceptable. Upon arrival, there was urine on the back of the toilet seat, which remained uncleaned throughout our stay. The maid removed only some dirty towels, left others scattered around the room, and failed to replace them. We were left without ample towels for the duration of our visit.

Rooftop bar access was extremely limited. We chose this hotel specifically for the rooftop experience, yet it was closed for weddings on two of our three nights. While I understand venues are rented out, it would have been courteous and professional to inform us in advance that we would not have access during most of our stay.

Dining service was chaotic and poorly managed. On Saturday morning, we were denied seating in the restaurant and told to sit at the bar with our children. After waiting 40 minutes and only being told “I’ll be right with you” by the bartender, we left without even receiving water. The dining room was empty, yet guests were being refused seating—clearly due to understaffing.

This issue repeated itself after the Lions game when we attempted to have dinner. Again, the dining room was closed, the bar was full, and children were seated at the bar at 10 PM, which is not appropriate. We were forced to eat on the lobby couch, and even then, the food took a long time. We ordered four pizzas but were told only three could be made due to lack of ingredients. This is simply unacceptable.

Cleanliness in public areas was neglected. On the morning of our departure, the lobby tables and counters were visibly dirty, with pepperoni and wine stains on the furniture. It was clear that no one had cleaned overnight.

This experience was far below the standards I expect from Marriott, especially at a luxury property. I am severely disappointed and hope that you take this feedback seriously to improve operations at this location.

I was just passing thru Cincinnati so I didn't give my search for a nice hotel it's due diligence. I chose the Lytle Park Hotel because of its high Google rating and it's high price — any hotel in Ohio that charges $600 for a king room must be decent. Unfortunately the Lytle Park is a soulless corporate Marriott masquerading a high end hotel. The restaurant is terrible as well. You could do better getting dinner from the frozen food section at the Kroger. You have to join their Marriot Bonway program in order to not get charged for your internet there. Machine made latte in the morning? No thanks, next time I'm in the "Paris of the rustbelt" I'll go elsewhere.

Paying great attention to detail in cleaning, every corner is clean, which shows that the management system works and makes guests feel at ease. Reasonable valet parking makes using the car very convenient. The service staff are warm and kind and love small animals. Pets can truly feel pampered here. The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, just a short walk to downtown, but when you get back to the hotel, it's very quiet. Staying here is the best location to experience Cincinnati.

Large bathrooms, bright comfortable rooms, the best front desk staff we’ve ever had anywhere, knowledgeable restaurant staff with helpful recommendations. Only flaw was the highway outside our window, but no vehicle noise was detected inside the room. We will be back! Thanks for making our first stay a five-star experience!

This hotel has gone completely down hill. It used to be my favorite hotel in Cincinnati, and somewhere I’d recommend to friends, family, and business colleagues. I’ve stayed here several times over the past 5 years. This last stay was extremely disappointing. New trainees at the front desk who don’t know how to handle loyal guests (I’m an Ambassador with Marriott Bonvoy) and don’t know how to problem solve. Slow and disorganized valet. And worst of all, dirty rooms and awful housekeeping. Both the rooms (suites) they put me in had bugs, stains, and filthy carpets. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Standard rooms are $600/night! Not sure if it’s new management or a new philosophy, but it’s so sad to see a once great property fall off so badly.

My husband and I stay in hotels every other week for his job. I never really think about leaving reviews but this hotel and the staff are so great that I knew I needed to. The nicest staff I have met. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel at home. The rooms are also very nice and spacious. The bed is so comfortable, and we all know how much that matters. The housekeeping leaves lots of fresh towels and washcloths every day. Out of the over 30 hotels we’ve stayed at so far this year, this is definitely my favorite.

Absolutely top-notch property. Both the interior and exterior of The Lytle Park Hotel are breathtakingly beautiful. This is a property that is abundant with "the little details" that make your stay truly special. The service is 5-star. Easily as attentive, detailed, friendly, and professional as what I've seen at 5 star luxury properties in major hospitality markets. The restaurant is excellent. The location is fantastic - just steps away from multiple great parks, Great American Ballpark, Fountain Square and more. Our room was beautiful and very well appointed. It doesn't get too crowded, even with weddings on site.

The Lytle Park Hotel is an absolute gem.

For our 1-year anniversary, my wife and I decided to splurge on what was supposed to be a luxurious experience at this highly-rated hotel. Unfortunately, it turned out to be anything but.

From the moment we arrived, the valet staff repeatedly asked us in a condescending tone if we were just staying for dinner. It felt like they were implying we couldn't afford to stay at the hotel, only to dine there. This happened multiple times and was very insulting. Despite our arrival, we were never asked if we were there to check in.

Hoping things would improve, we headed to the rooftop bar. We waited for 20 minutes after being seated for the waitress without being greeted. When I finally ordered a drink, it was wrong twice. I asked for a whiskey sour and first received a Moscow mule in a copper mug, then just a whiskey and soda. Each time, it took another 15-20 minutes to get the incorrect drink. Frustrated, my wife and I decided to leave.

Normally, I can overlook the ignorance of a few employees and some slow, inaccurate service. However, this experience, especially on our first wedding anniversary, was incredibly disappointing. We chose this hotel expecting a memorable and luxurious stay, but it ended up being a regrettable experience.

If this is how they treat their guests, I can't imagine coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

One of the best hotels I've ever been in the suites are very nice I had the rainwater room which had a soaker tub and a walk in shower has a tablet in room a fridge with a insta cool button the bed was awesome I played music all night no one complained. But this is not for a cheap person or if your budgeting this is when u wanna splurge and look good if u wanna take a female somewhere.

My husband and I live in Mt Adams right above the Lytle hotel. During the arctic blast of 2022-23 our pipes froze and we ended up spending 5 days at the Hotel over Christmas. My kids came for Christmas in our hotel room…not ideal but the hotel was so great in offering us spaces to use. They even had a pipe break and made all the guests comfortable. Fast forward to arctic blast 2024 and sure enough our pipes froze again (we thought we had this fixed last year but it is now done!) we had dinner at the bar waiting for them to unfreeze and finally realized we had to stay a night…I was so incredibly sad. The hotel staff was amazing and even gave us an upgrade to a suite which was so thoughtful! I cannot recommend this hotel, the staff and the overall stay enough!

We stayed here for a few days around the holidays while visiting family. We brought our puppy along for her first trip. The hotel staff was more than accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There seemed to be a lot of options in the hotel for dining and nightlife. We had a great experience and will be returning.

We stopped at this beautiful historic hotel on our way back home during a long road trip. I can't say enough good things about the place, the staff -- everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were treated like royalty, even our beloved dog, Jax. The Lytle Park Hotel and each member of the staff we encountered was professionalism personified. We look forward to going back once Lytle Park is completed.

I found this gem of a hotel during the pandemic in June 2020 and have been staying here ever since. There is no turning back. Not a single hotel in Cincinnati can live up to what this hotel has to offer. The staff Maggie, Dee, Jeff, Theresa, Ben, Angela (hostess), have A+ game on their customer service skills. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff are very accommodating when additional items are needed. The front desk and valet staff are all very helpful and nice as well. Great location in a quiet part of downtown as compared to other hotels. I absolutely love this place and look forward to my next stay. Thank you all.

Was a very convenient location for where I needed to be. Room was very clean and well kept as were the common areas. Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs which is a nice touch. I didn't try the pool so I can't speak for that. Plenty of free parking and breakfast is included. Front desk staff were friendly and very accommodating.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel, unfortunately. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and was pleased, but won’t be back! Someone in a nearby room was smoking weed all night long and the smell was disgusting in our room. I called the front desk and they told me they would find out who but it never stopped! I choked on the smell all night long. I should have called the police. Slept maybe three hours! When I complained at checkout I was told I could wait for a manager who would be available in a few minutes. No thanks! I was exhausted and just wanted to leave….

Super clean!!! Really nice hot breakfast & the lady running the breakfast is awesome! Front desk guys at night told us it was continental but to my surprise it was hot breakfast, not continental. They should know the difference but either way we were very happy with our experience from check-in to check-out.

Very surprised by this hotel. Affordable and clean. The breakfast was as expected, but that's just a bonus. Staff was super friendly as well. Only small issue I had was that I booked and payed online months ago, but when I got to the hotel, they asked me for payment as well. A simple mistake by the friendly staff member, but make sure you double check if you paid when you made your reservation so you don't get double charged.

This was the cheapest hotel in the area so we certainly didn't expect the best but we were pleasantly surprised!! Front desk service was helpful and kind, room was clean upon my inspection, beds were comfy, nice spacious bathroom with a hot shower. Breakfast offered was pretty decent with different options each day. I was even given the option of what floor I wanted which I've never had done before at a hotel. We could see our vehicle at all times from the window which is comforting. The only complaint I could possibly think of, is the indoor pool really wasn't warm enough to swim comfortably in. This hotel is Within walking distance of a movie theater, a few good restaurants (including Mellow Mushroom which we were thrilled about since the one in our hometown shut down!) I will definitely come stay here if I ever need to visit this area again.
