We expected something better for 40% higher room rate than the one right next to it, but it was Mother's Day weekend. The room configuration was a little odd, but otherwise comfortable. We are going to give it another chance on a non holiday week when the price is reasonable.
I left a detailed review in Marriott.com about this hotel so ill keep it short here. This hotel should be examined by all other hotels in the Marriott enterprise because they executed a full sweep in professionalism, cleanliness, service, food, and accommodations. Staff was great, room was serviced ever day, breakfast was excellent and if i could give it 10 stars i would. Britney at the front desk was excellent. This hotel is the GOAT!!!
Room was very stuffy and AC was locked and couldn't go below a certain temp. The "Hi-Speed" WIFI was so slow I had to use my phone's hotspot. Breakfast was mediocre. Location was great. Was not a horrible stay but if I had the choice of another Marriott property I would stay there.
My seven year old kept crying after we checked in and saw the room. He was upset for a long time. Finally, he showed us the reason he was upset.
There was an open hole cut in the wall between the beds.
Why in the world they think this is acceptable is beyond me. Please fix the holes in your wall so it doesn't scare children. It was pretty creepy to see.
We had a fantastic stay here! We had a small issue (outside of the staff's control) with our room when we arrived but it was quickly handled. They were caring and compassionate and worked hard until they came up with a solution for us. The hotel was very clean, had wonderful amenities and a delicious breakfast! Will definitely stay here again!
My stay at this hotel was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and so comfortable—I honestly didn’t want to leave. The amenities were great, the shampoo and conditioner smelled so good and made my hair feel so soft, from the relaxing pool to the delicious restaurant . Every part of the hotel felt well cared for, and you could tell they go above and beyond to make guests feel special. I can confidently say this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, and genuine service. The house keeper, Zoe, who took care of my room was so polite and sweet.
Theres no hot tub as advertised, the pool is NOT heated and was too cold to swim (in august). Many disappointed kids. Room was adequate but our bathroom fan, several of the lights and some parts weren't functioning at all. Breakfast was so bad we couldn't finish any of it. Sausages were wet and not cooked well, even the bagels were stale. Very disappointed we spent over 140$ to stay here one night. Would recommend another hotel in the area.
We had a good experience at this hotel! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location is close to many restaurants, and in a safe area! I can’t speak to the breakfast, since we did not eat breakfast at the hotel. However, for the price, I think breakfast should have been included.
Husband & I are frequent visitors of the Hilton brand. These rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly. We were particularly fond of a sweet lady in housekeeping. Didn't get her name, but she was 1st shift on Sunday June 22nd & she was restocking and cleaning #106. Thank you nice lady! We appreciate you! The only negative thing I have to say about this stay is typically a laundry bag & an extra blanket are provided in the room already, but there were no extras in this location. Is it a huge deal? Nope. When we stay at Hilton, Home2, Hampton or any others. There's just some extras provided. I also don't like that it's the same price as Spark or Hampton and you still have to pay $15/person for the breakfast. Key tip: there's a smoothie king in the same parking lot.
My husband and I have stayed here twice and we love it. The hotel is in a convenient location- close to many restaurants and a short drive away from Dayton. Adequate parking and clean facilities.
We always book a room with a soaking tub and it’s always a nice, relaxing experience. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and everything is clean. It’s a wonderful little getaway for us.
They have a nice indoor pool as well.
