An absolutely first class experience. Ron and Stephanie truly know how to treat their guests and you can tell that they love what they do. The rooms are clean, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The breakfasts were amazing. I would highly recommend Arrowhead to anyone looking to stay in the Durham area. You will not be disappointed!

This was everything we desired and expected. While we were not at the Inn during the day, the room was very spacious and well equipped and the breakfasts were excellent. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

This was our third time renting the cottage, now with new owners. First and foremost, the food was fantastic. Delivered to our room, the breakfast was one of the best ever in a hotel, and we have stayed in some very upscale hotels around the world. The chef, apparently one of the owners, is a true artist. We had ordered a birthday cake with the room and it was the best cake we’ve ever had (sounds stupid, but it actually was incredible). Top-notch accomodations, beautiful grounds, attention to the smallest details evident in everything. Very friendly staff. We will be back and are already looking forward to returning.

Great Getaway.
Our children gifted us a stay for a birthday present. We had the most wonderful time. The owners were away but Alex had everything under perfect control. The breakfast was simply amazing. They really pay attention to details and nothing was lacking. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Arrowhead Inn! We stayed in the Duke Suite and it was so cozy and romantic. The inn pays very good attention to detail such as the water in your room and some small snacks. Everyone working there is SO nice and friendly. Breakfast was great and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and we will definitely be back!

The Arrowhead Inn is a beautiful place to stay and in an amazing location! My husband and I were looking for an evening away for Valentine’s Day and could not have been happier. We live in Mebane, NC, so it was wonderful to find such an amazing B&B so close to home! We will definitely be back!

Nestled in the heart of Durham, North Carolina, Arrowhead Inn Bed and Breakfast is a quintessential Southern gem that effortlessly captures the essence of timeless romance and impeccable hospitality.

As an Elopement Photographer, I love this venue because it accommodates my couples all-inclusive wedding needs that few other venues offer.

From my the first wedding I shot the beautifully landscaped grounds, the historic charm of this hidden oasis enveloped me in an atmosphere perfect for micro weddings. The staff's genuine warmth and attention to detail set the stage for an unforgettable experience, with each team member going above and beyond to ensure our celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The individually decorated rooms made the perfect setting for the photos and videos I shot. The lush gardens and meticulously maintained outdoor spaces added a touch of natural splendor, offering a picturesque backdrop for ceremonies and leisurely strolls around the property. Arrowhead Inn Bed and Breakfast stands out not only for its historic grandeur and stunning surroundings but also for its unwavering dedication to providing an enchanting atmosphere that seamlessly marries elegance with Southern charm, making it the perfect wedding venue for couples looking to get married in a setting of unparalleled beauty and hospitality. Every time I shoot a wedding here, Arrowhead Inn exceeds my expectations and easily earns a five-star rating, making it a highly recommended destination for any couple looking to celebrate love, romance, and special moments right in Durham, NC.
The most incredible experience we could have imagined on our wedding night! Everything was absolutely quiet, spotless, so comfortable, and luxurious...from the perfectly clean tub to the soft linens, robes, and blankets. We felt so special when we got there and they were playing "A Thousand Years" and our beautiful antique radio was set to classical music! The flowers on the bed, floor, and side table were so romantic and beautiful, and the cheese and fruit plate was delicious! We felt so pampered. We will be back!

We stayed several days for our son's college graduation. The suite was secure, clean and comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The sheets were soft and the mattress was just right. The bathroom was roomy and functional with good water pressure in the shower. The sitting room and fireplace in the suite were the luxurious beginning and end to each day, complete with coffee bar and fresh water. Breakfast was filling, delicious and appealing, including fresh fruit and pastries with the main course. The staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. The grounds are lovely, and a special delight when flowers are blooming. Allow some time to sit and relax outdoors. The location was a very easy drive to Duke's East and West campuses, as well as downtown Durham, roughly 20 minutes to everywhere we went. We are unlikely to have another reason to visit Durham in the future, but if ever we do, we would happily stay at The Arrowhead Inn again.

This place is a gem! From the gardens to the bed sheets to the service... everything was spectacular. I was there for a quiet couple of days to catch up on some work and it was lovely to work in the gardens with the great landscaping and bunnies running around. The service from the owners was 100% amazing! My only note... the house is next to a road, so it's not complete silence...but it's close to the great restaurants in Durham! I will definitely go back.

Beautiful inn on the edge of Durham. The building was historic but with modern amenities. The grounds were remarkable with huge magnolias and walking paths around a well considered landscape plan. The location was safe in a residential neighborhood, but about 10-12 miles from downtown. This didn't bother us but may be a consideration for others. The innkeeper was very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were looking for a small wedding venue to hold an intimate wedding ceremony and we discovered the Arrowhead Inn in our search. We stopped looking after one visit, we could not have found a more perfect venue! The Inn is so naturally beautiful that we really didn’t have to decorate much. The owners were so nice and accommodating and they left no details untouched. The room that we stayed in was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and welcoming. The property was PERFECT for our wedding, and the day of coordination made for a smooth and memorable ceremony and reception. We intend to return to the Arrowhead Inn for our Anniversary and for any other excuse we can think of! 10/10

Very good location near the airport and you may be able to park there cheaper and use the shuttle. I wish the shuttle ran earlier. We had to pay for a shuttle for the 6 of us because our flight was at 5am and the hotel shuttle wasn’t running.

I researched a lot before booking here. Hilton Honors member so I have high expectations. Seems like there is a lot of theft and car break ins issues with cleanliness at other hilton properties in Raleigh.
We booked a 2 night stay here at embassy suites and paid extra for a family suite. This place is so beautiful from the moment you walk into the lobby. It is also clean. Staff is courteous. The family suite is a great option ...2 rooms, bunk beds, 2 queens and a full sofa sleeper.
The best part was the southern hospitality...we had asked the omelette chef for some local recommendations and they were so sweet and even wrote down a few local places (thank you supervisor Karla!!)
Brier creek is a lovely town..lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

My family and I arrived late after midnight due to my job. It's a good thing that I chose self checking in on my app. I walked into the lobby to get a luggage cart, and the staff stared at me as if I was intrusive to their moment. No greetings, no "can we help you" from any staff members, so i grabbed a cart and loaded up my things and went up to my room. Immediately when i got into the room, the kids were exhausted, so i prepared the beds for them while they're brushing their teeth. I noticed hair from other people on our sheets and pillows on both beds. The bathroom counter, living room table, and sofa also had the same curly hair all over the area. The bed sheets were definitely not changed before our arrival. Unfortunately, we noticed more curly hair in the shower and shampooing bottled area. It was so gross. The showering body soap dispenser was completely empty, so I ended up using the shampoo to showered with...SMH! I looked all over the hotel room for our Do Not Disturb sign to no avail. The sink next to the front door had only HOT running water and no cold water. I found this out while I was washing my hands. The hot water almost scorch my hands. Last but not least, the AC unit fan button did not work, so the AC could not be set on an automatic setting. Hence, we ended up leaving it off because it was loud. Therefore, the room got very humid all night. I am extremely disappointed WITH Embassy Suites and will never stay at an Embassy Suites again!

My family of 4 loved our stay at Embassy Suites near the airport. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were big and clean. And the service was excellent. All in all we had a great experience! We also loved the pool.

First I want to thank JOAN! She is AMAZING! Very helpful. She made our stay taking care of getting us to the airport and leaving our car at the hotel while we traveled. Everyone that works here loves their job. You can just tell. Thank you for a great time and experience!

I was blown away by the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the amount of complimentary services they provide daily. The breakfast was delicious! The evening reception was much appreciated! They have really put a lot of energy into the experience at this hotel. I never leave reviews but I had to for this place. Great work.
The room was fresh, bright and recently updated. I felt 100% at peace. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and living room/kitchen sets this apart from a regular hotel. The suite was like having a little apartment. We loved how clean it was. Top notch experience. I’m genuinely surprised it’s only 3 star.

Loved staying here! The indoor pool and hot tub were impeccably maintained. The social hour with free drinks was an added bonus to our incredible suite. The bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was also amazing, lots of options and cooked to order omelettes. I’ve always had a great experience staying in an Embassy Suites but this stay was truly exceptional. The staff was also very friendly and helpful
