The Stanton House Inn is a beautiful, charming place to stay. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the grounds are peaceful, and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. A perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable getaway highly recommend!
Are you tired of the same old cookie cutter hotel room? Then let me recommend this quaint mansion, The Stanton House Inn. This hidden gem is within Old Greenwich CT quiet neighborhood but is within walking distance to downtown shopping. A bed and breakfast which have over 21 beautifully designed rooms, an outdoor pool and grounds for all occasions. They have a healthy breakfast menu and the Frittatas and Avocado toast is to die for. The staff are very attentive to your needs and enjoy sharing a story or two. Kate, Veish, Joel and owner Colin make you feel like their home is your home. I've been to many top Bed and Breakfast Inns throughout New England and the Stanton House ranks among my top 5, so give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
The Stanton House Inn, is a perfectly located hotel, surrounded by trees and just a short walk from Greenwich town. The bedrooms while all different (I know because I’m a return customer), are all spacious, traditional and well furnished and the beds comfortable. The included breakfast is delicious and includes an assortment of cereals, bagels, muffins, and custom choices from, frittatas and eggs, to delicious avocado on toast. Snacks and soft drinks, also included in your stay, are available all day and night. Enjoy the newspapers, magazines and books provided in the reading rooms. The staff are all friendly and available for suggestions, whether for exploring the neighborhood or visiting a nearby restaurant. I love this homey Inn and look forward to returning again.
We loved our stay at the Stanton House Inn. It was an ideal location to enjoy fall in Connecticut as well as all New York City has to offer. The Inn is elegant and welcoming-we enjoyed our breakfast there every morning, and coming back at the end of the day to enjoy a cup of tea in the lobby. We loved our room - tasteful, spacious, and sooooo comfortable! We also really appreciated the super friendly staff who give us great recommendations. We can’t wait to stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay at Stanton House Inn! The check-in process was quick and easy, and we immediately felt welcomed. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring.
The inn itself is charming and full of history, you can really tell the owners take pride in maintaining the unique character of the property. The location couldn’t have been better: nestled among gorgeous homes, right next door to a delicious coffee shop, and just minutes from great shopping in Greenwich.
What we loved most was how comfortable and peaceful the stay was. The room felt private, and we rarely heard other guests. Everyone we interacted with was kind and pleasant, which made the whole experience even better.
There really weren’t any downsides, we truly enjoyed every part of our visit. We’d absolutely recommend Stanton House Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming stay in Greenwich, whether for a relaxing getaway or a trip to explore the area.
My husband and I had a lovely stay this past weekend. The owner was welcoming, attentive, and accommodating from start to finish. We stayed in the Shubel, which was both beautiful and inviting. The staff were equally attentive and our room was cleaned, the bed made, and fresh towels provided while we were out enjoying our day.
The location is perfect, whether you’re visiting the casinos, heading to the shore, antiquing, or exploring beautiful Mystic. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be returning guests. Thank you to the owner Jim, we appreciate that you made our weekend celebrating our 24th anniversary that much more special.
Went on a weekend getaway with my boyfriend here ahead of Christmas and had the most wonderful time. Jim was an amazing host and felt so comfortable and at home. The Stonecroft Inn is magical - the huge tub and fireplace were among our favorite pieces of a great weekend. Jim brought our breakfast up to our room because the Inn was quiet due to the upcoming holidays and it was delicious. My dog came with us and had the best time running around the 6 acres of land. Will absolutely be back - this is our FAVORITE!!!
Great Family Reunion venue! Loved the cleanliness, the charm, the history, the staff, the property, the Innkeeper, and the Event Room. Every bedroom was unique. The snow storm made it feel even more cozy with the warmth of the fireplace and stonewalls in the Event room. Great place to make a memory. I was so tired of the same ole hotels. Loved our stay!
We had an absolutely perfect weekend getaway at the Stonecroft Inn. We stayed in the Orchard room in the 1807 house and loved having a fireplace to enjoy. The room was spacious and cozy. Jim’s breakfasts were delicious!! It was the perfect distance from Olde Mystic Village to feel “in the middle of nowhere” while actually being very convenient. We will definitely be back!
This is a lovely inn, situated just outside of the busiest part of Mystic Seaport. We loved the quiet, and the quaintness of this inn. The room we had was very spacious, and had a working fireplace. Our host provided all the little touches that made our stay special - coffee/tea maker, wine glasses and corkscrew in the room, soft robes, and those warm cookies in the common area at night. We can't wait for our next trip there.
