A perfect little escape! My boyfriend and I travelled down to Boston from Toronto and decided to take a road trip to Cape Cod. We spent a weekend at the Candleberry Inn and were blown away by the hospitality that Marco, Angelo and their staff provided. This luxurious boutique Inn was cozy and welcoming, the rooms were charming and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious! No detail was overlooked. Although we did not want to leave, we unfortunately had an early morning drive back to Boston after our weekend at the Inn. Marco and Angelo made sure that we were not left empty handed; they woke up early and packaged us up a little take away breakfast and snacks for the road, along with some coffee 🙂

It is truly the best Boutique B&B we have ever stayed at. Marco and Angelo make you feel like family. They are warm and welcoming. They anticipate your needs and meet them.
They remembered my husband’s food allergy and offered a replacement! The breakfast is exquisite. The rooms are gorgeous and the bathrooms are all new. The sheets and bedding are like sleeping in a cotton-ball cloud. The parlor is equipped with games, books, teas, coffee, broths, sodas, and bottled water. Every afternoon there is a freshly baked treat awaiting each room.
My husband and I look so forward to these few days each year. The towns are filled with great antique stores, shopping, fine and casual dining. The beaches and bike/walk paths are abundant and well maintained. We are going back in June and I cannot wait to cross over the threshold of The Candleberry Inn!! Lisa R

Our stay at the Candleberry was absolute perfection! Marco, one of the two innkeepers, greeted us upon arrival and showed us where to find refreshments and up to our room. We stayed in the Beach Rose room. Every detail is so thoughtful, down to Angelo’s Christmas Cookies awaiting our arrival, but our bathroom was just incredible. Their linens are heavenly and the soaking tub a dream after a long day at the Nantucket Stroll. Marco and Angelo provided wonderful suggestions of restaurants and antique shops in the area as well.
This morning before we departed we had a delicious two-course breakfast, a citrus salad and French toast! We have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay.
We would love to come back and spend more time on the Cape and at the Candleberry!

Candleberry Inn is a quaint yet luxurious property with the perfect location for exploring Cape Cod. The rooms were extraordinarily comfortable and Marco and Angelo, the innkeepers, were not only incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also ensured that every little need was met throughout our stay! We were greeted with the most delicious two course breakfasts each morning, and always came back to one of Angelo’s fresh baked treats waiting for us at the end of the day. As part of your stay, you also get access to resources that provide a vast wealth of knowledge for the best things to see and do in the area, no matter your interests. It was a fantastic stay and I hope to come back and stay in the not too distant future!

Candleberry Inn was pure perfection. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Marco (the inn keeper) and he took us around the gorgeous premises. He was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. We stayed in the Highlands room. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable.

There are clean towels, chairs and umbrellas to experience the beach. The inn is situated that you can meet with other guests or very easily spend some quiet time alone. The Captain Farris House provides exceptional comfort and hospitality in a most lovely setting. The owners are warm and welcoming, and have thought of all the details that make for a most enjoyable stay. Captain Farris House was the best stay I’ve ever had! Carol, Jeff, & the entire staff was so kind, so helpful, & made us feel right at home. We came all the way from GA & we had the best time, breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious & was SO fresh!
Will be staying here again! I highly recommend to everyone. Check in was so easy, plenty of parking, & prime location on the Cape, everything felt so easily accessible.

Carol and Jeff and the whole team at the Captain Ferris House are the very best! They are truly good and caring people who do everything to make your stay just perfect! From all the special touches to the beauty of the Captain Ferris House everything is amazing. Carol took all the stress away from me to help plan the best wedding ever for my son and his wife! Everything from the beautiful room, to the ceremony, cake, flowers, toast and venue were all the best. Carol and Jeff are great people. We thank them so much for making this wedding so memorable!

We absolutely love coming to the Captain Farris House. Carol and Jeff are such wonderful friends and in-keepers! They always make us feel welcome 🙂 The rooms are beautiful, the service is excellent and the breakfast is delicious. Plus, the B&B is in a great spot on the Cape - with access to everything. Thank you Carol and Jeff and staff for making our stay there such a wonderful experience again. We highly recommend it!

I can’t say enough about the Capt Farris House. It’s everything that it claims to be and so much more! The rooms are all so different and equally beautiful! The smell of home baked cookies wafts thru the air. It’s like stepping back in a moment in time. It was truly wonderful and a much needed retreat for me. I stayed in The Captain’s Quarters. Loved the lace canopy bed and the private patio area. Carol, the owner could not have been more welcoming. She really cares about her guests and I loved that about her. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious and the casual dining rooms invite guests to make friends with one another which I loved as I was traveling alone. I look forward to coming back. I’m hooked on the hospitality 🙂

My fiancé and I stayed here for our first trip to Cape Cod and I cannot stop thinking about how perfect everything was. This was our very first Bed and Breakfast experience and Carol, Jeff, and the staff exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to go back!
When I was planning this trip, I really wanted to stay somewhere that had a romantic and charming Cape Cod feel. I was really surprised to find so little of that upon my search. But the moment I saw Captain Farris House, I knew we had to stay there. The entire house was so cute and charming I wanted to scream of excitement when I walked in. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves 😍 Carol was so kind and we felt so welcomed!
We stayed in the Captain Farris suite, which included a sitting room, a bedroom, and a sunken bathroom. The sitting room was a great place to relax, the bed and the robes were super comfy - my fiancé slept like a log and was raving about the soft sheets. Breakfast was always delicious! We aren’t picky eaters, but still - every day we had a great meal that fueled us up for the day. The fresh baked cookies were such a great touch. My fiancé, who usually doesn’t have a sweet tooth, would be so excited to get back to the B&B after a long day of exploring to snag some cookies, hahaha. We felt like little kids again, sneaking downstairs to grab cookies from the cookie jar!
The location of the B&B is great. We spent some time in Chatham and Hyannis and it worked out great for us with a rental car. There was a little farmers market across the street on the first day we were there and we got some goodies. You’re also a short walk to the Bass River! Plenty to do in the area

If you are looking for a romantic get-away on Cape Cod, this is the place! We've stayed in luxury hotels and a few B&Bs, and have never had as great an experience as Carol and Jeff provided for us this past weekend. The room was beautiful, the bed was fitted with luxurious sheets, soft music greeted us as we entered - just perfect from minute one...and then, the breakfasts! Fresh, healthy and decadent - all with friendly service.
The most unique aspect though, is the personal touch and attention to detail that Carol and Jeff invest in each of their guests. From late night assistance with ice water to fresh aloe for our sunburns, I felt more than pampered - I felt cared for. I needed this more than I even knew!
We no longer have to search for places to stay when we visit the Cape - CFH is our new home away from home. Thank you, Carol & Jeff - you are appreciated.

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at Captain Farris House! Carol was so kind as to change the breakfast menu to accommodate my somewhat unusual dietary restrictions during our stay. I am so appreciative, and everything was delicious! The house is beautiful and welcoming — the little touches like daily baked cookies and fresh flowers really made the experience unforgettable.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the same beautiful suite we honeymooned in twenty years ago! The home is beautiful, breakfasts are yummy, and they even got up early to make breakfast to-go for us when we had early starts to our day.

We could not have had a more fabulous time at Captain Farris House! Carol was wonderfully helpful planning for husbands bday, with all the kids showing up and surprising him. We booked four rooms and everyone raved. Entire house is immaculate, beds are fitted with luxurious linens and are extremely comfy. Food is presented so beautifully you ALMOST don't want to eat it, and it's all so delicious! They graciously prepared meals for several restricted diets, GF, dairy free, etc. Carol and Jeffrey are so gracious, we felt like we were staying with family. Can't wait to return!

My husband's and my September 2023 stay at the Captain Farris House was our first bed and breakfast and nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with a genuine warmth, hospitality, and HEAVENLY lemon butter cookies that set the tone for our entire trip! The Irma Farris Suite itself was plush and luxurious: a testament to the historic property's classic elegance and a cozy retreat not only made us feel at home but SPOILED—don't even get me started on THE BATH TOWELS I still dream about them! Our suite, private bathroom, and the entire property were impeccably clean, which is a reassurance in the more intimate, communal setting of a bed and breakfast. Carol, Jeff, and their staff were also an absolute pleasure: their commitment to ensuring we had a comfortable, memorable stay was evident in every interaction, and they were delightful conversationalists to boot. Their homemade breakfasts (both savory and sweet) and afternoon treats were a culinary delight that complemented our overall experience. My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary for a weekend at the Captain Farris House. We filled the inn with family and friends, and had a fabulous time! Carol and Jeff are remarkable hosts, and when I asked my husband what he would add, he said that Carol and Jeff are what made it special. They are warm, genuine, and made the space very comfortable for us. It was like being at home, but with all of the amenities. I would highly recommend staying at the Captain Farris House.

The Captain Farris house is a must for Cape Cod! They made us feel so warm and cozy and at home. My husband and I were obsessed with the homemade breakfast and the small town charm. Beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the robes. Plus our room had a balcony and the property was lovely to look at! Will definitely be coming back.

We spent an incredible 7 days at Captain Farris. Carol, Jeff, and the entire team ensured our stay was unforgettable. Their breakfasts are both fabulous and generous. Every detail, from the luxurious bed linens and outstanding service to the spacious room and DVD player complete with a selection of DVDs, adds to the perfection of the stay. Their cookies are so delightful; I may have gained a few pounds during our visit!

Don't miss a chance to stay in this luxurious Bed & Breakfast. Our hosts were exceptional and made us feel so at home from the time we stepped through the door! They have thought of everything to provide a comfortable, cozy stay - freshly baked cookies each day, a scrumptious breakfast menu each morning, expansive tea and coffee bar, beautiful common dining and sitting areas, and even DVDs and popcorn to take back and enjoy in your room. We had two rooms, and both were sparkling clean - I commented to my traveling companions that the rooms and bathrooms were the cleanest I've experienced in quite some time! Highly recommend!!
