Explore Houston: Top Spots, Eats, and Hotel Picks
Houston has over 50 hotels with in-room Jacuzzis, making it one of the best cities in the United States. The prices vary depending on where you stay and when you go. You might pay between $50 and $60 for something basic or $480 for a nicer place. February through March get expensive because of the Houston Rodeo, and any time there’s a big event at NRG Stadium, prices rise. We advise you to book a few weeks ahead.
Why Get a Room with a Jacuzzi in Houston?
Having a tub in your room means you can use it whenever you want. Some places have the heart-shaped ones if you prefer them for anniversaries. Most have regular whirlpool tubs, which work great after you’ve spent the day walking around the Museum District or eating too much barbecue.
What to Do Around Houston?
Space Center Houston is about 30 minutes south. You can tour Mission Control and see actual spacecraft. Takes a few hours to see everything, and it’s worth it if you’re into that kind of thing.
The Houston Zoo sits in the Museum District. The African Forest section is probably the best part. Plan for at least 2-3 hours.
Buffalo Bayou Park downtown spans 160 acres with decent skyline views. You can rent bikes or kayaks there. It’s a good option if you need to get some fresh air.
Where to Eat or Drink
Backstreet Café in River Oaks does romantic courtyard dining pretty well – their menu changes with the season. Try to get a table on the patio.
The Pit Room in Montrose is where you go for BBQ. They smoke their brisket and ribs for over 14 hours. Weekends get busy, so expect to wait.
Julep has a rooftop bar with good views, especially around sunset. They do Southern-style cocktails and small plates.
Top Picks: Three Hotels Worth Looking At
The Hilton Houston Westchase is solid for couples. They’ve got private Jacuzzis, and it’s 15 minutes from the Galleria if you want to do some shopping or visit restaurants.
If you’re trying to save money, Best Western Plus North Houston Inn & Suites usually runs between $60 and $90. You still get the spa tub, plus they throw in breakfast and parking. Not fancy, but it does what you need.
For families, The Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria makes sense. The suites are big enough that you’re not tripping over each other, and you can walk to the Galleria Mall. Kids like being near all the food options, and parents appreciate having the tub after dealing with said kids all day.
Other Cities to Check Out
Galveston is 50 minutes south if you want beach hotels with Jacuzzi suites, while Midland and Tyler are also great options that offer lovely hotels with Jacuzzi suites.
Houston’s got museums, restaurants, sports – but it’s not as intense as some other major cities. A hotel room with a Jacuzzi makes the whole trip easier, especially if you’re celebrating something or need to decompress. The city’s spread out, so pick your hotel based on what you actually want to do while you’re there.

Verified Reviews of Houston Hotels with a Hot Tub in Room

Even though it is very beautiful, I feel that a standard is set by the little details of a stay. Here are the concerns that I experienced: When I booked the room online through the Marriott site, there was a place for you to list your preferences for your stay. It has a place for us to list the number of extra towels and pillows (including type of pillow) and other requests. On the site, I had asked for additional towels and feather pillows along with a bottle of Champagne set up in the room for when we arrived (wanting to surprise my husband). When I "checked in" the day before on the app, it once again asked about towels and pillows. Needless to say, none of my requests were provided. When I checked out, I mentioned to the man at the desk about a better way to notify them next time, he said that I should call and let them know because sometimes, they don't see the comments left on the reservation. My thought is "Why not?". Why have the box if no one is going to read it?
Second, when we arrived to get our key, I mentioned to the lady (who was very nice) that it was our anniversary. She congratulated us and said she was going to give us 2 free breakfast buffets to help us celebrate. I thanked her but, needed to point out to her that I had purchased the bed and breakfast package, so I should already have breakfast provided. She apologized and asked if we would like a cake sent to the room instead. We were thrilled and said thank you. However, the cake never arrived. Even though it was not expected, my thought is to never offer something if you aren't going to follow through with it.
My next concern is about the bar area. (before, I begin, should say that it was empty at 3:30 pm on the day after New Year's Day). It is a very beautiful space with dark wood, chandeliers, and character. After we checked into the room and got settled, we decided to head to the bar for a glass of wine (by the way was $17 each, didn't know because I had asked for Kendall Jackson, which they didn't have, and the bartender suggested something else). All fine, but a little taken back, but okay. We sat at the table and decided to order an appetizer with our wine. Since we didn't see any menus or were given any, my husband got up to go get one. The bartender came back and I asked about the charcuterie board, she said it was a great choice. When it arrived, we were a little underwhelmed and disappointed. It had plenty of meats, cheeses, and grapes, but instead of the rye bread rounds stated on the menu, we were provided a piece of cinnamon toast cut into thirds to use with our meats and cheeses. You could even tell it was a piece of toasted cinnamon bread because it still had the round crust on the top. When the bill arrived I chose to not say anything because we had already eaten and what good would it do, however, the waitress did take off a charge for one of our glasses of wine because we had to walk over to get a menu (her choice not ours). We hadn't said anything to her about the board or the cost of wine but were appreciative of the gesture.
Finally, at 8:15 am, I heard someone trying to come into our room. I had to yell that we were still here. The door shut and nothing else happened. Check-out time was set for 1 pm and we had not checked out yet. A little surprise and an adrenaline dump to the system since I was still asleep, but all was well. At that point, we decided to get up.
As I said at the beginning of the review, this hotel is very beautiful and we enjoyed learning about its history. We are from Houston and weren't aware of this hotel and the story behind it. However, our disappointment lies within the tiny details. If we are going to pay this much for a single-night stay, we would hope for more attention to the small things.
Las habitaciones están muy cómodas y el diseño está súper lindo. Podrían mejorar las almohadas y también podrían planchar la Sábanas o edredones.. esta muy arrugado.

The front desk office staff was very pleasant especially Crystal. I was very undecided about the hotel, but after having a friendly conversation with Crystal, I made my reservation and confirmed it with may payment.
BEST 👌 WESTERN is my choice of hotel
Thank you
The desk clerk was friendly and the check -was fast. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated.
Our room was clean and had a fridge, coffee and tea with a kurig machine, iron and ironing board. The bedding was comfortable. The included breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, coffees, tea and hot chocolate. There was an assortment of pastries.
