Gramercy is a beautiful escape. A cozy atmosphere inside the mansion with a beautiful atrium and lush gardens make every visit feel like a wonderland. It is the perfect place for a wedding or a weekend away. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning is so delicious. We love strolling through the gardens and viewing the art inside. We got married in at the mansion in April and returned in September to visit again. We are so grateful that Gramercy shares this beautiful site and we cannot wait to return the next time we are in the area.

We just had our wedding at Gramercy Mansion and it was a wonderful location between the gardens and the main house. While they do write the contract a bit opaquely (it is not entirely clear what furniture is / isn't included with the contract), they are responsive. Additionally, the property's general manager, Kristen, was super friendly and helpful the day of the event-- going out of her way to provide me (the bride) with Shout wipes to get mud off my dress and helping us troubleshoot for a no-show vendor (our DJ) at the last minute.

We had our wedding at the Gramercy Mansion. It was absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments about the building itself as well as the surrounding grounds and gardens. The entire event and the process leading up to it were seamless thanks to the venue staff working so well with our wedding planning, caterer, and other vendors.

My husband and I also stayed in the gorgeous Cassatt Suite for a few days following the wedding. Breakfast was delicious and the employees are all incredibly helpful and friendly.

We plan on going back again in the future. I just wish we could bring our dogs!

We had our wedding reception at Gramercy this past weekend and have only incredible things to say. The vibes were great, the gardens were gorgeous with incredible flowers and butterflies, and the mansion was so much fun. The Garden Suite was a perfect room to get ready in and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. We also loved hanging out in the pool after our wedding and having a lovely multi-course breakfast at Gramercy the morning after the wedding with some close friends.

We absolutely love this place! Had a little getaway this past weekend to celebrate a friends birthday and have a great dinner at Petite Louis Bistro. Spent Saturday afternoon lounging by the pool and came back after dinner to enjoy some wine in the parlour. The beds are so comfortable and the included breakfast is fantastic. We love sneaking away to this place a couple times a year and it never disappoints!

Fantastic place to stay. I evacuated the Holiday Inn in Owing Mills to find someplace where I could actually have a clean room and the Gramercy Mansion was above and beyond. A+

We had a microwedding/elopement here, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. The staff were so accommodating, professional, and kind. Our stay in the Tower Room was incredibly comfortable and lavish, and our breakfast the next morning was delicious! The ceremony was lovely, and the staff made everything so smooth. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend Gramercy for any events!

The room was thoughtfully well appointed having everything you would need; plenty of towels, dinnerware with silver wrapped in napkins in case you decided to eat take out in your room, service/equipt. for tea, coffee, microwave and refrigerator. The bed was cozy and comfortable including linens and pillows. the TV had streaming platforms available as well as live TV.

The staff were so very lovely and friendly making it an absolute pleasure to stay at the Mansion. The gardens and pool were incredibly amazing but my absolute favorite was the breakfast!!!! So good. I would stay here again!

My stay was in July 2024 for 3 nights/2 days.

This venue is gorgeous for weddings! I am a wedding planner for Top Shelf Wedding Planners and I had the pleasure of working my first wedding at this venue in June. The gardens are so beautiful for photo purposes. The Inn itself has the coolest collection of items all around and the staff at the front desk are so polite and welcoming. The wedding ran so smoothly and the way the property is laid out is great for the flow of guests. I hope to work more weddings here in the future!

Gramercy Mansion was the perfect location for our reception. The gardens provided a beautiful backdrop for our outdoor photos and the indoor decor made the reception unique. We did not need many extra decorations because the Mansion is already stunning. We and the guests enjoyed having different rooms to explore and having seating throughout the first floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful with every step of the planning process. It was a definite plus that I was able to stay at Gramercy Mansion the night before the wedding, use the suite to get ready the morning of the wedding, and that we were able to stay the night after the wedding. Highly recommend the Gramercy Mansion for your event!

This was our first stay at Gramercy Mansion & it did not disappoint. I had a medical appointment at Johns Hopkins and it was very convenient to stay at this B & B. We stayed in the Tudor Room as I have difficulty ambulating (use a walker) and it was very accessible for me. The walk in shower was great & location of room as well. The grounds simply beautiful! And our morning breakfast yummy! Multiple sitting rooms and unusual decor...the staff all wonderful. Sorry to have missed out on the pool, not ready yet. Our only recommendation would be for better instructions on how to use the TV. The directions noted in the room's handy book did not match up with our particular TV remote and the TV actually hard to turn on! And once off, we had to figure it out again...perhaps a bit of a challenge for us seniors 🙂 We had to call the front desk x2 for assistance, and, of course, they were very nice about it. But we had a wonderful, relaxing stay (of course the medical appointment a bit concerning but all turned out well). And we would definitely return and request the wonderful Tudor Room again!

Stayed for two nights (3/22 - 3/24) in the Camelot Suite. The room was incredible in every way. The Mansion itself was so well kept and super interesting with various vintage and antique pieces on display throughout. The grounds were immaculate and very tranquil. Gramercy Mansion is the perfect place to get away to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

We have been hosting our corporate meetings at the Gramercy Mansion for almost a year now. We were looking for a space that was unique and represented our company well, and we found that with the Gramercy. The grounds are gorgeous and
the staff is always quick to respond to our requests and are incredibly friendly and easy to work with. It's hard to believe that I hosted my high school's Senior Prom at the Gramercy almost (clearing my throat) 27 years ago, and today I am planning my company's events with them. It goes to show that excellence and relationships are qualities that endures the test of time!

Wonderful forest getaway! My wife and I have been coming here since we met, from being sweethearts to engaged to married. From time to time, we come here to celebrate an anniversary. Last time we came, the breakfast was amazing as usual and we had a terrific time. Thank you so much!

Gramercy is so unique and offered so much for our wedding guests! The service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are amazing! Gramercy gave my daughter and Son-in-law a dream wedding! The morning after the wedding, the bride and groom were guided to the brick sidewalk to see the brick with their names on it! It was already in place! What a fantastic venue! Yes, we will visit again and again!

We've stayed at Gramercy four times now - once just happened to be our wedding, and just got back from our one-year anniversary and babymoon! We were able to stay in the same room, and as usual, it was amazing. The staff, rooms, breakfast, and service are all top-notch, and we truly do feel at home there. It's so close to all of the "action" and yet so tranquil and tucked away. It was the first time I've felt relaxed in months! It was so fun to chat with all of the other couples who were also there celebrating their anniversary and we found our brick on the pathway. 🙂 Thank you to Jenna and Lia especially for being so welcoming and accommodating -- the little things you did to make us feel welcomed and celebrated did not go unnoticed!

A beautiful B&B located in the sweet town of Ellicott City. Joe, the innkeeper, was welcoming, very friendly, and very accommodating. He served us a delicious breakfast and our suite had everything we needed for a cozy and quaint experience. We will definitely be returning!

It is an historic house, which means there are limits to updates that can be done and it is old. We had hot water and heat and clean sheets and an acceptable breakfast. The host was very nice, though we missed that we had to call and not text if we had any issues/ questions. Our room was on the third floor, the staircase was wide but did feel steep

You won’t regret staying at this historic Bed and Breakfast - it was the perfect location for us (visiting friends in the area). A beautiful, well maintained home with an absolutely delicious home cooked breakfast, and plenty of amenities like coffee/tea/hot chocolate at any time. Very quiet at night and had a great night’s rest. Will be back to stay again next year!

Amazing breakfast. House was full, but we could not hear anyone from our room on the third floor. Some low ceilings and creaky stairs.

Excellent WiFI for the most part. Reasonable parking.

The hosts attention to my travel partners breakfast preferences was very considerate.

We stayed in the Terrace Room for a short getaway. It was our first overnight break in 14 years from parenting. In August the room was very cool, so we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The large jetted tub was perfection. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and Joe was incredibly friendly. We'd take a break here every month if we could.

I first want to say our hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to even have an early check-in because our flight came in before the official check-in time. I have no complaints about the hospitality and customer service aspect of our stay. The property itself is also beautiful and great for pictures.

The reason why I gave this a 3 is because I booked a couples’ night stay in the Margot suite as we were attending a wedding up the street and the overall B&B reviews have been glowing. I was pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of our room based off of the various reviews that insist everything was very clean. Our bathroom shower had red soap scum all on the bottom of the cloth curtain and the shower frankly smelled unpleasant. We also had a cloth headboard and it was extremely dirty behind the pillows.

After a night of celebrating, I didn’t feel well enough to sit downstairs and have breakfast. I wasn’t aware that we wouldn’t be able to bring food upstairs to eat breakfast there if we wanted to and despite not feeling well. I appreciated the nice breakfast, but I had to eat my meal downstairs which was kind of a bummer because I didn’t get to enjoy my food or even finish much more than a couple bites because I preferred to lay down since I had to choose.

I would recommend for hospitality and more of a “homey” feel but I personally didn’t love it as much as I’d have liked to.
