United airlines gave me a room here for the night since I was not able to catch a flight due to a delay. The front desk worker that I checked in with was super friendly and very helpful. The room was amazing. I ordered room service. The food was fantastic. The timing was perfect. I also ate breakfast at the restaurant the next morning. The servers and host were all super friendly. The eggs and ham were okay, but the fried potatoes were insanely good. The place was beautiful. I couldn't believe that's where United put me up. I can't speak to the location. I just went from the airport to the hotel and back. It was close enough to the airport.
I've met here twice for extended periods of time for planned and non-planned business and business casual meetings. Both experiences were nostalgic! The atmosphere, food, and services are consistently exceptional. ($10 parking passes, conveniently close with services to the airport, suggest dedicating at least 2+ hours here, price is >$$-$$$$).Definitely a "VALUE" for your buck, a "must see"!
If you're here it probably wasn't by your choice. This is a convention hotel, that's it. Beautiful place with high open spaces and wonderful views. But only two restaurants were open with limited seating. The sports bar was spacious but was often closed for large group events but not a good place for quiet conversations.Service was generally good but had to wait over an hour to check in due to canceled flights and lack of staff. Nice fitness facility and huge pool for kids. Spa hours didn't accommodate people that attended meetings all day.Nothing local and not easy to get into town, but the idea was to keep you there. Not my favorite of the Gaylord properties.
We had a blast! Took our two grandsons, 7 & 8! There was so much to do even with the cold weather! Everything was open and ready to serve us!! We had a great time at the pool & basketball court!! The ICE was great! They must of slid down those slides for at lest an hour. The food was amazing! The staff from hotel, restaurant, play time were amazing!thank you for a unforgettable time🥰
I was out at the Gaylord in September for an awards ceremony the apartment association tributes towards I was one of the nominees, which I’m very honored to have been one but we had such a great time. It was a very formal event. The rooms are great maybe just a little small but all in all it was a great experience. It was a beautiful facility, it was just such a very lovely time and very accommodating huge place for an event say a wedding or convention or Christmas party it was really a lot of fun. The spa was amazing. I will definitely go back on my own.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! The beds were the most comfortable beds and the rooms were very clean! Every encounter with their staff was unpleasant, they’re not courteous at all. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip but the staff really need to work on having nice manners and at least be courteous with customers!
Lovely place to stay. Old world charm and luxurious. When you enter the hotel it's a little dark, but has an atrium restaurant. I thought it might have been an old Embassy as the rooms surrounded the atrium with lush foliage and a Coi pond. The staff was very helpful , even though the receptionist asked me to say my room number aloud. When I entered my suite it was a breath of fresh air. Large room with grand furnishings. The bath was sweet. Separate shower and deep soak tub with bat salts🥰. The only complaint was I had a soap dish but no soap.
This place rocks!! Didn’t expect to be able to feel so luxurious at an airport hotel. One of the comfiest hotel beds ever and huge bathroom. Impeccably clean and hotel staff / James the shuttle driver were very friendly and professional. The plants in the lobby are real which is nuts. Fitness center was way above par to other hotels in this price range
Beautiful hotel. The lobby area is so cool with a river and pond with giant koi fish! The rooms have huge five piece bathrooms. The bed is super comfy with tons of pillows. Very ornate furniture. Hotel staff was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place!
This place is really nice. Somewhat confusing decor. The rooms are more antique, Victorian style, while the bathrooms are huge and more modern. There is plenty of space for all your clothes, seating, and very tall ceilings. The only thing that our very large group didn't like was that the lobby area, it was so hot you had a hard time enjoying a meal, or drinks. There was no where our group could sit out of the way from the dining service to enjoy our own drinks and socialize. The waitress during diner service was somewhat rude and seamed like she had no idea what was going on. The food was good but sometimes came out cold. Overall, it's a nice place to stay with easy access to the interstate, airport, eateries, and shopping.
