Am here Sunday 8-25-25 The night person, with no name tag, when I asked her if there were vending machines, pointed down the hall and said "I don't know if they work." I asked why she didn't know, she said "I don't use them." I said you offer them as part of the hotel, will I lose money, she said "It's at your own risk, just like anywhere else." Wow, so expect them not to care. When I lost money, I asked her to refund it. She gave me the money, I said thank you and she just stared at me. Then she said "What?" I said "Usually people say you're welcome." She said nothing, like I was some pain in the neck for expecting a refund if the vending machine didn't work. Motel 6 treats you better!!!
I've been a Hilton Honors member for over 10 years, I'm done. Never stay here in Brattleboro Hampton Inn - $157 for this
The woman working the front desk on my stay 8/20 in the late afternoon evening was wonderful. She was professional and very polite. The room was neat and tidy and the AC worked great
We have traveled 10 days on our trip so far, this was the best hotel yet! Clean, comfy rooms, quiet at night, and an excellent free breakfast with eggs and sausage besides the usual bagels and waffles. Everything about our stay was excellent!
Well to start expect to pay $300 for "incidentals" yes I understand you will get that back but didn't expect to be so high as we had other things to do. Next is they are still renovating the building. So my family sat in the lobby to have dinner and asked to change the TV station and the front lady said they couldn't " MTV showing ridiculousness the whole time. So in the morning where you get breakfast guess what was on... Yep, ridiculousness. So the rooms were nice. But our room number 209 had way too much water backing up in the bath tub so my wife couldn't shower after I. Also it didn't have conditioner (not a huge issue just something little) I used the fitness center. There is a TV that didn't work. I tried the remote and also the buttons on the TV. The fitness room was good enough with a treadmill, and 2 bikes with some weights The pool room was the best room. Big enough 5 foot deep pool and whirlpool. Loved that room. The breakfast was also very good!
The overall stay was nice, room was clean and looked fairly updated. Robert who was so kind to us had checked us in, my daughter really enjoyed talking with him. Super friendly guy! Pool and hot tub were great and relaxing. The only thing that was interesting was the parking situation looked like they were remodeling maybe and containers took up quite a bit of space. So not a whole lot of parking but overall our stay was great!
“A lovely bed and breakfast—such a refreshing change from the chain hotels we’ve stayed in during our 30-day trip. Peaceful, charming, and welcoming. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Without hesitation, this is a true 5-star stay!”
From the moment you walk into that old house you feel it's a dream. All the rooms in the house are filled with interesting items to capture your attention. Even though the house is almost 100 years old, it is clean from top to bottom and in perfect condition. Everything a vacation get-away should be. That's how we felt at the Inn on Putney road. We like to hike and swim so it was a pleasant surprise to find a trail at the back of the yard that meandered through the woods and down to the water. On a beautiful summer evening we found our way to the water for sunset and took a dip. The breakfast was awesome. You should try this house.
Hands down one of the loveliest places I’ve stayed! Decor is cozy and eclectic, staff is kind, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful, and the space is just amazing. Every detail was thoughtful curated and made for a remarkable stay. Can’t wait to come back!
We had a wonderful experience at the Inn on Putney Road. Paul is everything a B&B host should be: Kind, professional, a great communicator, considerate, and on top of all of that, he is a great cook! He also made sure that any dietary restrictions were considered, which we highly appreciated, and we enjoyed gourmet style breakfast every day of our stay. There is definitely a personal touch and style that made our stay very special. We highly recommend!
