Required to travel to the area on little notice for a funeral, we booked a room (the White Lotus room) at Sutton House - and it was a highlight, the only highlight, of the trip. Rarely have we encountered such accommodating (!!) people and such wonderful...accommodations. From the booking experience to our unavoidably late arrival to the room, the breakfast and everything else, we could not have asked for anything more. The room: spacious, lovely, well appointed with heating, multiple pillows and blankets, light switches and hooks just where you might need them, power outlets for our devices, reliable wi-fi. Just...perfect. The grounds: gorgeous. And...the breakfasts: unbelievable. One day fresh fruit, omelets, bacon, potatoes and toast. The next day, fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon (see photo). Coffee and tea and fresh baked goods always available. And, most impressive of all, knowing that we had to leave before breakfast to catch our flight home, Donna (the cook) left out for us cereal, English muffins, fresh bread, peanut butter, regular butter, pastries, jam, fruit. Just unbelievably thoughtful. We are indebted to Donna and to Thais and Lynn. You made a difficult situation so much easier to experience. And to anyone reading this, do not hesitate to book the Sutton House Bed and Breakfast if you have the opportunity to do so. You will not be sorry.

We have no idea how this place got 4.8 stars..it is not quaint it is just ancient. Not a single upgrade in probably 50 years including the bedding. No hot water and a dribble coming out of the little hand shower in my 30"w plastic shower insert. TV's didn't work. We shot out of there on our last day at the crack of dawn. Not cheap.... spend the $ on some upgrades? NOISE from road...

Center Harbor, New Hampshire lives up to it's name. This was a truly perfect location for us to explore the entire state of New Hampshire. We were never too far from any place we wanted to venture to and most importantly never too far back to the B&B to lay our heads.
The Inn Keeper Thais was always available to greet us, to give us information and directions. Thais and her team made our experience even better. They made us feel special, from a wonderful warm breakfast every morning, freedom to explore the property, safe, clean and spacious room (Teal/Orchid room) to every little extra(s). Very hospitable and comfortable! Love to you Thais!

This was my 1st B&B experience and it was wonderful! We spent 5 days at the Sutton House and Thais and her team were fabulous from the beginning. The Yellow Daffodil room was very clean and I appreciated the noise machine in case of outside noises. That was one concern of mine when considering a B&B, but we didn't need the noise machine at all. I appreciated the extra effort of wrapping each glass in plastic and having disposable items as COVID is still present.
Each morning started with a delicious homecooked breakfast which began with a fresh fruit cup, baked good (muffin, bread etc.) and then the main course that varied from spinach quiche to pumpkin pancakes with pure maple syrup. It was all amazing. The 24/7 coffee/tea bar in the main room also had fresh baked cookies for guests. These little touches made it feel like Grandma's house. Then, there is Patty. Not only did she bake most of the delicacies but she was so entertaining and friendly. She made our stay extra special. She even packed us a little "to-go" bag of goodies and fresh coffee to take on our trip back home. Thais, Patty, Sally and Lynn sent us off with a group picture so we could remember our fabulous NH trip and the experience we had at Sutton House. We will be back very soon!❤️

This place is a gem! Great friendly staff, the host is very knowledgeable about the area and will help with meals of any sort in the area. Tips on how to navigate dinner during the pandemic are worth their weight in gold. We were very pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to our room for another groups convenience. Having us move to an upper floor and a bigger room

WOW!!!!! That is the simplest way to express the wonderful time we had at The Adair Inn for our son's wedding weekend February 29th - March 3rd. Chris and Miranda wanted an outdoor winter wedding (they live in Florida) and visited The Inn last year (2023) and fell in love with all of it...so the destination was selected and the planning began. As everyone knows this has been an unexceptional warm winter in the North East with little to no snow however that did not put a damper on our wonderful weekend. From the staff welcome greetings to Tom carrying a cocktail outside for my son in the rain EVERYTHING was perfect. Brenda has the most exceptional staff catering to your every need. The rooms were beautiful, the food exquisite, the Inn charming and I could go on and on. Many thanks to everyone who made this weekend memorable for us all, especially Chris and Miranda as they begin the next chapter in their lives.

Absolutely sublime get-away. Super comfortable, clean, relaxing. Food (dinner and breakfast) is extraordinary. Drinks are delish. Staff are friendly, helpful, and not intrusive. Had a blissful, restful, and restorative weekend surrounded by nature. Can’t wait to go back!!!

We have not yet had the pleasure of staying at Adair but make it a point to dine there when we are in the north country. We absolutely love Adair and always look forward to our next visit. At some point we plan on a weekend stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Adair Country Inn and hope to return soon! We appreciated the great service starting with our reservation with Savannah to our welcome and tour by Ben and our wonderful care and conversations with Martha. The breakfast is amazing and the grounds are gorgeous! Make sure you go to the lower level to play pool or sip tea in the parlor or sit outside to enjoy the incredible landscaping. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the Turkish towels and robes and even a Nespresso machine in our room! Very nice touches! This is a rare gem!

This is our go to Inn every time we visit New Hampshire. The staff are amazing and make sure your stay is top notch. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. The location is hidden away enough with great views and the walking trails are great. Over the years we have stayed at many places in New Hampshire and Adair Inn is by far our favorite ❤️
