My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Fairmont Banff Springs and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The Concierge Staff was exceptional and provided detailed information prior to our arrival. In addition they provided friendly, professional daily details regarding various activities, etc. Alex in the Activities Dept. gave us an unbelievable tour. His knowledge and details of the area and his experiences was exceptional. Andrew and Scott from the Activities Dept. also provided interesting insight into wildlife and a thorough history and understanding of this beautiful property. The breakfast and housekeeping staff on the Gold Level did an outstanding job with service. Lastly, many thanks to my masseuse, Mary. Mary was by far the best masseuse I have ever had in my many years. She was professional, personable and knowledgeable. She is a great asset to the Fairmont brand.

This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Great room (we had a larger room with the staircase - room 457) and great amenities. We stayed on the Gold level and it was well worth it for the great breakfast and food throughout the day. We also were able to grab a bunch of waters each day for our hikes. There was also nice lounges for us to hang out with our friends. The service was excellent - everyone from the parking attendants to the 5th floor lounge attendants were so attentive. They even brought a piece of cake to our room on my husband’s birthday (at a request from our friends). It’s expensive but worth the price if you are taking a bucket list trip. Highly recommend to get the full, magical experience of Banff.

It is abundantly obvious from any material you see prior to arriving that the views will be stunning, but believe me… pictures do not do it justice. Even the best cameras in the world cannot capture the amazing and breath-taking views from all around the Fairmont Banff Springs. Honestly, there isn’t a bad sight line here! The staff is amazing as well, very friendly and knowledgeable and eager to assist at any time. If you’re staying for a couple of days, take part in the activities the offer because they are SO worth it! Whether you’re into hiking tours or tennis or guided history tours of the building itself, or even just roasting marshmallows by the fire… there’s something for everyone of all ages. Personally, I highly recommend the guided history tour of the building. Our tour guide was Alex and I doubt anyone could do a better job, because he has set the bar pretty high! Come for the view, stay for the experience.

While we didn’t stay at the hotel, I booked a spa day for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. The spa service itself was excellent but the highlight was the 3 hour use of the amenities, which included access to the indoor pool and heated outdoor pool, the spa steam room, sauna and whirlpool and the four specialized European baths lit by the most magnificent skylight. The spa lounge is gorgeous with an array of teas, coffee, waters and snacks (including gluten free). The staff were helpful, professional and absolutely lovely. For the (not unreasonable) price of a spa service, you get to spend the day feeling like royalty in a magical setting.

Hands down this is one of the best Fairmont I have ever stayed at (the other one is Fairmont Frontenac). Beautiful building full of history and surprises, yet the hotel rooms are renovated, modern and spacious. The service and the staff members here are arguably top-notch. If you are looking for anticipatory service, look nowhere further. I booked 2 rooms and were assigned 2 rooms with connecting doors. My dad asked for the direction to a on-properly restaurant and the front desk team offered to have the hotel car sent him there instead. Every hotel staff I bumped into greeted me with a smile and a warm greeting, from bell staff, pool attendant, servers, activity attendant, housekeeper and kitchen staff. With their excellent service, the team at Fairmont Banff Springs definitely successfully carried on the legacy of history and the weight of its name.

Exceptional stay - one of the most memorable and incredible stays we have had! My boyfriend proposed in the room 800 (the panoramic views) and the staff went above and beyond setting up the room. The 5 days following they were so attentive and helpful. The room was cleaned spotless daily, the restaurants service were top notch, and the VIEWS were out of this world. We went to the fairmont for a spa day and while it’s cool to see I have to say the Rimrock views are 10/10. You won’t get that kind of view at fairmont. We went back and forth on which one to stay at and I’m so thankful we picked Rimrock! Thank you for making our week so special, this is a moment we will always cherish.

Gorgeous view of the mountains in this terrain built hotel. There is a pretty landscape behind the hotel for a nice walk. The area the hotel is in is quiet and relaxing as well. Nearby is a hot springs, and the Banff Springs Golf Course which is visible from the hotel. The hotel lobby is nice and the rooms are pretty nice as well, especially with views. The pool is heated and small but big enough for decent swimming. This place is an interesting property, and I enjoyed my time here.

To describe my stay in one word: disappointing. I stayed here on a weekend trip with my parents (they charged an extra 30 dollars for this) and I was not happy with my stay. To begin, the view we paid for was interfered with my a window with bird feces. The room was average at best. There was not anything spectacular about it compared to the 150 dollar hotels I’ve stayed at, except for the overpriced water and chips they have in the room that they later charge you for. The hotel staff was the downfall of this hotel. They seemed to always have attitude and were sort of arrogant. I overlooked this fact until I saw several other reviews saying the same thing, which is why I wonder why the issue is not corrected. I had to ask the staff for a nicer tone after a rude phone call answer. I was confronted by a staff member about using the pool after 10pm, even after clarifying that I knew the rules that it was adults only after 10pm (I am 18). I received no compensation for this bad expirience. They charge you an additional fee for parking, even after spending the large sum for the disappointing rooms. The fitness center equipment is aged and some things are rusted. There is only 2 spray bottles to clean equipment after use, so many just don’t clean it. Again on the staff, it felt like whenever I was roaming the hotel, exploring all the shops, I was always being observed, as if I wasn’t trusted (this happened on multiple occasions). I genuinely do not think I will stay here again, especially since they do not even offer free breakfast. If you are considering staying here, I recommend you to find another option. If you are looking for something luxury, I recommend the Banff Springs. If you are finding a place to stay for a night, I recommend anywhere but here. Not worth the money, and the staff are poor-mannered to say the least.

Let me start off by saying this hotel has the most amazing staff! Even before we arrived, they were helping us make the most of our vacation. The concierge and Bell staff helped us plan getting around and had great suggestions for food and adventures. The location is amazing with stunning views of the mountains. With snow falling, it was truly magical. You can walk to the Banff Gondola and Upper Hot Springs. The food is delicious (and make sure you do Pasta night on Wednesdays.) The fitness room and pool, hot tub and sauna are very nice. Our room had terrific views and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, and the furniture is showing some age. But we very much enjoyed our stay.

I've stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world but this hotel was truly different. The views from our hotel room were phenomenal and very clean. What sets this hotel apart from others is the concierge service that helped us arrange local transportation and ski resort bookings. They've went above and beyond to make sure our ski trip was phenomenal and without delay by staying on top at a moment's call. Would stay here in Banff again!

I was a little disappointed. We paid $700/night and I would expect more for the price point. The Mountain View was amazing. However, the mattress was old and saggy, the rooms were a little run down, and the shower water leaked onto the floor. The fitness center was well equipped with a nice view. However, the towels were not replenished in the morning. And one of the TVs was broken. In addition, there was no coffee offered in the lobby. It was all for a fee. This hotel didn’t compare to other four-star ones unfortunately.

WOW! Absolutely spectacular hotel. Our anniversary was spent in a suite with endless views of the valley and town of Banff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The welcome bottle of wine and the cheese tray were enjoyed on the private balcony in the cool evening air. This was like a fairytale dream come true. It was THE best hotel we have ever stayed in.

We had our wedding here in September 2023. The service, food, and views were all incredible. Our guests were extremely impressed with the overall experience. Service is clearly very important to the Rimrock staff, as every staff member went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests were well taken care of. The staff were always eager to assist (even when weren't expecting it), and always did so with a smile. Jocelyne and her team did an amazing job making sure everything was in place for the wedding, and made our planning process as easy and stress free as possible. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend the Rimrock for any event or stay.

Gorgeous location and away from the traffic and buzz of downtown Banff. Located right by the gondola and Upper hot springs. Rooms are pretty and spacious with good views. One small minus for lack of a ceiling light. Service has been absolutely stellar, everyone is smiling and eager to help. Parking is a tad expensive, but at the same time a huge plus for complimentary bus passes that allowed us to ride transit for free for our whole stay. Yummy breakfast buffet. Will definitely visit again.

I picked this hotel primarily because of price - to me it was a fair deal, all things considered. However, from the moment I drove up to the hotel entrance at 9pm, my wife and I could feel this is a different hotel. The staff - their smiles, their manners, and their helpfulness is just top notch. We felt they take pride in their work - they work there because they want to be there, and it felt really good. We saw quite a few tour buses dropping off customers, and we did not see too may kids running around. We had breakfast there once and most of the clients there were older than us. The bed was comfortable. The gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, everything is clean and new. I think these are things that will help people make decisions on whether to stay in Rimrock. Perhaps I have been staying at 3 star places too often, so this upgrade is extremely noticeable. For the extra I paid, I felt I got an excellent return from it.

FAQs about Banff hotels with Jacuzzi in room

What is the typical price range for hotels with in-room Jacuzzis in Banff?

Hotels in Banff offering in-room Jacuzzis typically fall within a more luxurious segment. Prices can vary widely based on the season, view, and additional amenities. On average, you can expect to pay anywhere from CAD 250 to CAD 700 per night. Premium suites with panoramic mountain views or additional luxury amenities might be on the higher end of this range. It’s always advisable to check with specific hotels for exact pricing and seasonal offers.

When is the best time to visit Banff for a Jacuzzi room experience?

While Banff is a year-round destination, many visitors find the winter months, particularly December to February, to be the most magical for a Jacuzzi room experience. The contrast of the warm, bubbling water against the crisp, snowy backdrop is truly enchanting. However, the summer months, from June to August, offer lush landscapes and longer days, making it another popular choice for those looking to soak in scenic views from their Jacuzzi. Prices might be slightly higher during these peak seasons due to demand.

Do Jacuzzi room rates fluctuate based on the time of year?

Yes, like most accommodations in tourist destinations, Jacuzzi room rates in Banff can fluctuate based on the season. Peak times, such as winter ski season and summer vacation months, might see higher rates due to increased demand. Off-peak seasons, like spring and fall, might offer slightly lower rates. It’s also possible to find promotional offers or package deals during these times. Always check hotel booking sites or contact hotels directly for the most current rates and promotions.

Guests can enjoy the luxury of a Jacuzzi while supporting environmentally responsible lodging.

How far in advance should I book a hotel with a Jacuzzi in Banff?
