Hotel is very outdated, rooms don’t get cleaned very well. The walls were insanely dirty, dust and spider webs hanging from the ceiling. You could see the dirt in the carpet. The breakfast we had was not very good, all the milk and yogurt was expired. On the good side, the service was great and the location was too
Would give zero stars if I could. I was charged twice for my stay here, and after a week of calling to get the issue resolved, am still getting the runaround. The room was not very clean. Will never stay at this chain again.
If i could rate this hotel a ZERO.. I definitely would! I went here for my daughters 8th birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Our room smelled like dirty feet but whatever. It was me and 7 girls aged 4-10, and my son was also there he's 12. Well the morning we were checking out.. I was cleaning the room and gathering our belongings. I slept on the pull out couch, which by the way was the most uncomfortable thing ever, but that's besides the pond.. as I was folding it back up into a couch, I found a condom wrapper. I gave it to the front desk lady I forgot her name.. she sort of laughed as she said "I'm so sorry about that" well once my husband found out what was under the couch, he immediately drove to the hotel to get a refund for finding something so nasty and there were little girls sleeping by that... the lady told my husband that the manager comes at 3 and she can give the refund. Okay so we pack up and leave. My husband called the hotel a little after 3 to speak with Maggie, the manager. She told us we trashed the room and she isn't giving us a refund because I didn't turn the condom wrapper in until the day we were leaving and not right away. Well duhhhhhh cuz I never saw it right away. My husband argued with Maggie for about 30 minutes, she also said that she found a USED CONDOM in MY garbage after I left and she took pictures.. first of all.. they have cameras where they can see who comes in and out the room. Which was myself plus 7 girls and my son! She refuses to give us a refund. I will never ever be back to this dump and I'll never recommend it to ANYONE! As far as I know from experience, they have to listen to the customer and not accuse them of lying. The whole thing is just ridiculous. TRASH 🚮
Cleanliness is terrible. My toilet in my room was not cleaned and had feces on and in it. I went to the front desk and they GLADLY gave me cleaning supplies to take care of it. Room smelled like gasoline. Sheets in my room were clean but others in our group had to leave the hotel because there were scabs/hair in the sheets in two separate rooms. Pool kept hurting children’s feet. Bandaids were used for cuts in their feet. Party room had to be cleaned by us before we could even begin to use it.
I had a clean, quiet, & spacious room with a good view of the river. The bar was a nice place to sit and unwind. All happy smiling White people on staff! The only issue I had was getting lost lol. It could use some more clear signage to help people get around. Excellent all around, though.
Very unfriendly over night staff named Zack. Terrible customer service when we were trying to figure out a booking request. He told us “best western doesn’t need our money” after he had been giving us attitude during conversation.
When I booked, I booked at past midnight (12:05am) and didn’t realize we would have to check in the “next day” being after midnight. We needed a room for the night, not next day. I called the hotel and Zack answered, was not friendly or helpful. Telling us it’s our fault and we should have called the hotel. We decided to go into the hotel to talk in person and that’s when we experienced terrible customer service. We took our business else where who were willing to accommodate us.
The manager Nicole was pleasant & did reach out the next day to honor the refund, but I did explain to her the terrible experience we had & how disappointing it was.
It was great! The room was spacious and clean. The people at the front desk were absolutely delightful. The location is perfect for my husband and I. Green Mill is RIGHT there and there's plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop right down the street. I would definitely recommend.
Nice location, good overall. The Pool was the only reason for the 4 star. I love having pools at my hotel. (Specifically hot tubs ) This hot tub was filled with kids messing around, putting in a ton of soap from the bathrooms which got on your nerves quickly, and then both the pool and hot tub had way too much chlorine. You could smell it from a few feet away and it stung your eyes. Didn't ruin my trip but definitely changed it.
My wife and I recently spent the night, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, they allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room at no cost, they had a little bag with snacks and water for us which was nice, they also gave a $10 coupon for the attached green mill restaurant. Our room was very clean and nice, the price was very reasonable too. We would come back and stay again.
