I am very happy that some people had such a great stay. Do NOT stay in the 3rd floor room to get up to the ATTIC which is a fire hazard waiting to happen lights flicker and you feel so boxed in. You have to be a 3 year old just to get to the room the ceiling going up you need to be a contortionist. We did no stay the night but left because getting in and out of the room was very difficult. Nobody met us at arrival even though they had us put an arrival time down when we reserved the room. Never saw the owners once while we were there. Not sure where all the good reviews came from.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Carriage Stop 2 nights a week for a 6 month period in 2022 while on a consulting assignment for a client. My stays were always excellent and I can't say enough about how accommodating Tammy and Mike were. The rooms were always comfortable and very neat and the pool area is better than most hotels or resorts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Hershey area.
Best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at! The owners are awesome and truly make it a great place to stay and are very attentive and helpful! I got the honeymoon suite and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Their breakfast is delicious and I definitely will be coming back!
Tammy and Mike are wonderful hosts. They are very accommodating and treat you like family. My boyfriend travels to Palmyra on business each week and chooses to stay at the Carriage Stop. When I can, I will come along with him. I’ve always enjoyed my stay. They have a fabulous pool to relax in and provide you with complimentary beverages. You feel like you are home away from home while staying at the Carriage Stop. I highly recommend if in the area. Close to Hershey for shopping, amusement and dining.
This is a fantastic little gem. Our hosts were just delightful, they were friendly, kind, and we're willing to go the extra mile when my daughter forgot her Minnie Mouse there. We ultimately had to shift plans and do a turn and burn to get it and our hosts were flexible with that too and we were able to get her stuffy.
Breakfast was amazing! The rooms are clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The house is absolutely charming. Two very friendly kitties who are kept out of the rooms but hang out downstairs.
The location is close to Hershey Park and the Hershey Stadium. In house needs where met when we asked in a timely manor. The rooms were clean on arrival. We had no issues here.
This was very close to Hershey Park. We enjoyed everything onsite. Rooms were clean. They left extra cleaning supplies in the room. Kids loved the pools and game room. The freight train blaring through the back of the property several times a night was a little rough...that was the only negative.
Right down the road from Hershey and the strip with all the restaurants. Across the street from the outlets and the best part is they are right next to Troegs brewery. My kids love it here. Has an indoor and outdoor pool. Place is very clean and quiet. My family and I go every year. So much to do in the area it's perfect for family trips.
I liked this place when I stayed here. The room was comfortable and nice, my only issue with the room was the towels in the bathroom were soaking wet, but you can always get more so it wasn't a big issue.
The service was great, everyone wad nice and there are a nice amount of amenities here! The pool is specifically nice!
The location is good. It's not a nice location by the sea type thing which I personally don't mind the location, but the location is fairly good overall. I recommend you stay here if you plan to visit Hershey!
First time here and I love it! Perfect location. In the heart of all amusement attractions and within walking distance. We have a two bedroom suite. Very spacious and clean. Some areas could use a paint touchup, but nothing major.
Great experience. Andrew at the front desk assisted in making it a great stay. The rooms are a little on the smaller side. Newer hotel and very clean. Housekeeping service daily. Great lobby area with activities to do with kids. At breakfast they do not have waffles, but a really neat pancake maker.
This is a very comfortable, clean, and fun place to stay. The rooms are fresh, and the staff is very accommodating. What's sets this place apart is that the lobby area has a bunch of comfortable seating and games to play. So many people were hanging out there relaxing and having fun. It was great!!
Great hotel and location with a really convenient free breakfast service each morning from 7-10am. The only negatives was having only one working elevator during our whole stay (it got really crowded during peak times), thin walls (hear everything in hallway and outside) and the indoor pool is not heated (really cold water). Otherwise they have friendly staff, room was clean and beds were comfy. Loved that they had towels fully stocked for our stay so we didn't have to ask for extra right off the bat. Super convenient 5 min drive to Hershey Park. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful service! We stayed here and right away the staff were super friendly and the environment felt very low key and more modern. The design of the hotel felt super new and very accommodating to kids. The lobby was always playing Disney channel and the pool was nice and clean. The room was clean and comfortable, we even had a view of the Hershey park rides from our window! The breakfast was super unique they had a pancake machine that was hands free and all types of toppings. We left dead in the night to make it home and the staff even brewed us fresh coffee for our drive. Will definitely be staying again and if you have a large family with young kids this place will become a favorite guarantee.
I didn't interact with anyone after checking in, but the desk staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The room was nice and spacious. The cleaning could be more thorough as there were piles of dust along the edges under the bed which is designated as storage space. You wouldn't notice if you didn't look, but I was doing some yoga on the floor and noticed that area is not getting cleaned. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I was there for hockey at Giant Center and it's a great location for going to games or Hershey Park or any of the stuff in that central entertainment complex. Also, the lobby area was quite lively with people, a snack stand, and game tables. I would definitely stay there again.
