Where exactly is the jacuzzi in King of Prussia hotels?
We analyzed 4 King of Prussia hotels with in-room jacuzzis and mapped where the tub is located, the average nightly rate, and which hotel leads each category.
The room was dated. Carpet and furniture were old and gross. 3rd star is solely for the gentleman working the breakfast bar on 11/4/23. It'd probably be a 5 star room if management kept the rooms as clean as he kept the cafe.
Rooms outdated for suite, carpet old ,livingroom furniture old and not clean, bed inside was used sheets, no sponge but the provide everything else pretty much. Kitchen staff amazing. Location is good near mall and many things. Deposit is 50.00 a night and billed all upfront cost. Free parking and free breakfast.
This is the old Sierra Hotel next to the King of Prussia Mall (and is a very convenient location for shopping and being a home base if the rest of the family wants to be in the mall). The rooms are super clean and don't have any issues I can think of. Very comfortable.
There is a unique room type with a freestanding soaking bathtub. I personally think it's very romantic and worth the extra dollars if you're traveling with your spouse. Note that it does not have a full fridge and freezer or stove.
On one occasion the previous guest had somehow stuffed rose petals down the drain and when I removed the drain plug the pressure somehow exploded the rose petals in my face. The hotel's engineer quickly resolved the issue and the bathtub returned to full operation. What service!
Please be kind and do not compress candle wax and flower petals into hotel tub drains!
Good Hyatt Globalist recognition at this hotel as well: all requests made were addressed politely and reasonably.
No technology issues and their in app Chromecast hookup was no problem. I also used my own personal Roku device successfully.
This place is amazing. Comfortable and soft beds always puts you to sleep quickly. Tv is very reliable and you can watch anything on it. Breakfast is great, one of my personal favorites being the breakfast potatoes. Location is exceptional and is close to a huge mall and multiple hiking, running, and bicycling trails.
Everything was well with our one bedroom suite for a family of 5. 2 oldest slept on the pull out and youngest on the L portion of couch. Stove top and fridge was a plus. Checked in 2hrs early for $20 :)! Went to the mall 3 mins away and booked the escape room for an activity. Gym was a great amenity for my husband, pool for the kids and hot tub for me. Breakfast was good enough for us to break-fast. Turkey bacon was a shocker and no waffle maker but thin french toast slices was great sub. Overall stay was great no complaints. My family enjoyed our stay and we didn’t use the pool table , bar or outdoor sitting area.
One star for being very clean. One star for the location. One star for the wonderful staff. One star for the great price. Where they lose a star is the terrible beds. They felt like we were sleeping in a ditch. Replace them.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and roo. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Desk staff was friendly and attentive. Annoying that it took what seems like forever to get hot water from the bathroom sink.
This hotel is getting 3 stars because everything was fine. There was nothing nice and nothing bad about it. The rooms were outdated. They were clean as they could be. The staff was not overly friendly, but not rude. The breakfast was enough. I really have nothing to say.
The hotel is currently under construction and had a weird layout. Only two issues I had were when I checked in late at night the front desk guy was BLASTING the football game on his phone. Didn't even mute it when I was checking in! They do not do daily room service because of COVID (unless you request) AKA in Sept of 2023 "we don't want to hire the extra staff"
This hotel falls between 2 and 3 stars for me, but leaves a lot to be desired. First and foremost, be forewarned that this place is under construction, and the pool is closed right now. I wish I would have known that before I checked in.
The air conditioning throughout the main part of the hotel (the lobby and hallways) is broken, so it's like a sauna whenever you first walk in. However, the staff all seems pretty nice and apologetic about the construction and all.
The room I had was actually pretty decent. The beds were very comfortable and there's a nice sized dresser with a mini fridge, but no microwave. The AC could have been a little stronger and the hot water in the shower a little hotter, but those are my main pain points for the price paid.
Lastly, the free breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. They had all your basic grab and go pastries, cereal, and fruit. To my surprise, there was no waffle maker, but there was some frozen breakfast sandwiches if you wanna save $5 over going to Wawa.
