Warren Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Warren and the Macomb County suburbs north of Detroit

Best Time to Visit

  • Summer (June–August): Peak season. Lake St. Clair recreation, the Detroit Zoo (in nearby Royal Oak), and automotive industry events at the General Motors Technical Center drive the strongest demand. Selfridge Air National Guard Base events in Chesterfield bring additional visitors. Book 3–5 weeks ahead for July and August weekends.
  • Fall (September–October): Moderate demand driven by Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings seasons in downtown Detroit - Warren and Sterling Heights serve as affordable suburban bases for Detroit sports fans. Pleasant weather for day trips to Stony Creek Metropark and Lake St. Clair Metropark.
  • Spring (March–May): Automotive industry conferences and the Detroit Auto Show (when scheduled at Huntington Place) can create short-term demand spikes in Warren and the Macomb corridor. Good mid-week availability across the market.
  • Winter (December–February): Quietest season with the lowest pricing. January and February offer the best rates - Days Inn Warren at $48/night and Days Inn Roseville at $49/night are among the most affordable Jacuzzi options in metro Detroit.
Booking tip: Warren and the Macomb County suburbs offer some of the most affordable Jacuzzi hotels in the metro Detroit area. This corridor is particularly well-suited for couples attending events in downtown Detroit who want Jacuzzi suite comfort at suburban prices - most downtown Detroit venues are 20–30 minutes south on I-75 or I-94.

Important Booking Tips for Warren and Macomb County

  • Detroit Auto Show and automotive events: The GM Technical Center in Warren and the broader Detroit automotive industry drive mid-week business demand year-round. Major auto shows and industry events at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit can cause demand spikes across the Warren corridor - check the Detroit event calendar before booking.

  • Convention Boulevard for the best value cluster: Warren's Convention Boulevard has the densest concentration of top-rated affordable Jacuzzi hotels in metro Detroit - A Victory Suites ($73, 9.5/10), Best Western Warren ($78, 9.2/10), Comfort Inn ($76, 8.4/10), and Days Inn ($48, 8.0/10) are all within a short drive of each other. This cluster offers better Jacuzzi suite value than downtown Detroit hotels at a fraction of the price.
  • Best budget options: Days Inn & Suites Warren ($48/night, 8.0/10) is the most affordable Jacuzzi hotel in the market with a strong guest rating - one of the best budget values in all of metro Detroit. Days Inn Roseville ($49/night) is the next most affordable option.
  • Downtown Detroit access: Most properties in this market are 20–30 minutes from downtown Detroit via I-75 or I-94. Holiday Inn & Suites Warren ($98, 9.3/10) is specifically positioned for Greektown access, while Hampton Inn Sterling Heights ($99, 8.2/10) offers the best route to the northern Oakland County suburbs.
  • Lake St. Clair recreation: Holiday Inn Express Chesterfield ($84, 8.2/10) is the closest top-rated Jacuzzi hotel to Lake St. Clair and Selfridge Air National Guard Base - practical for boating visitors, air show attendees, and couples seeking lakeside proximity in the northeastern Macomb corridor.

Arrived late on Friday, the gentlemen that checked us in was very helpful, professional, and friendly.

Today however (Saturday during the day), the gentlemen working the desk was completely useless and the dismissive. When asking for wine glasses and a wine opener, he looked in a drawer and said a customer must not have returned it. Which is not his fault, but just down the hall is a full restaurant and bar. He said he has never been In there. He told us to go to Walmart… and gave us disposable coffee cups for a fine wine experience. Of course it is hard to find him to even get this level of poor service because he is usually out smoking. Later when walking into the hotel, he was in his phone and didn’t even give a greeting.

While this may be picky, I stay with IHG and have for over 25 years because of the service and helpfulness. This is not it.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the gentleman helping us check in was awesome.

Apart from lackluster service… the Restaurant and bar are not open on the weekends. I don’t even want to try the breakfast because of the negative reviews I am now seeing. The toilet/shower are the bathroom, and sink and the rest of the ‘bathroom’ are in the hallway. The rest of the room is fine I suppose.

I would not stay at this hotel again. Every other IHG in the area has complimentary breakfast, customer service, and newer facilities. For the same or similar prices. IHG should be better.

An unsatisfactory horrible experience.
Management and staffers are unaccountable and have no integrity.
* I was double charged a totally different amount for my stay which took days before I was credited my money back on my card. It was an inconvenience. Management/ staffer told me, my card was charged a different amount from my original balance, a whole day after I checked into the hotel and had paid my balance in full (zero balance). Management tired to justified but said they didn't know who or why my debit card was charged. Management told me it would take days before my account was credited. "That's called stealing from a guest." Management provided reward points and that wasn't sufficient.
I was inconvenience by having a large sum of money, $662.14 (on hold) on my debit card for days. It was a horrible experience. I don't recommend this location to stay.

Came to visit my family for the holidays and seen this hotel had high ratings and great reviews decided to check it out and it was disappointing. I arrived and he said he had to charge me $100 more which will come back after checkout, which was fine but should have been mentioned in the pricing when I booked online. The room was very comfortable, cable skipped, hot water was great. Online said breakfast was included but we had to pay and we checked out early and the lady said it would take up to 30 days to get my money back so thanks for not notifying me about certain things when I drive hours just to get here

Hotel area felt safe, staff was friendly, breakfast was great is not a buffet style, but still served quickly and tasted much better. Room was decent water pressure a little on the low side, but very hot. First room needed a little cleaning, but front desk moved me to a clean room quickly with no issues. Room was large, bed was cozy, plenty of lights and sitting places.

The only good thing I can say is the room was clean other then that absolutely awful night. I stayed on the 4th floor awful mold smell as soon as you get off the elevator bed hard as a rock. Slept very little got up early tried to eat breakfast but that to was awful my husband isn't picky at all and he refused to eat more then one bite. If you have any breathing issues stay far away from this hotel.

We were scared. The other guests appear to be very sketchy and possibly homeless. It smelled like weed as soon as you walk in. Then when we got to the third floor it smelled like an ashtray mixed with mould. Enter our room which smells like smoke. I call front desk to ask if I can have a non smoking room, he said all of them are, I said can I have a different room that doesn’t smell as much like smoke. We had a baby with us and I’m pregnant. The pool was overcrowded, rude kids, pool needs a better cleaning. Chlorine burns your eyes. Man at front desk is great and nice and only part that was good. Breakfast was kinda gross except the waffles. I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me
