This hotel has been my 'go-to' for the past couple decades. The positives - The staff is friendly, it's in a good location, and it tends to be quiet. My last stay a week ago was a disappointment. The hotel seems 'tired' and needs to better maintained and updated. There was no A/C in the hallway where our room was located, or perhaps it was off or under repair, but it felt like a steambath when getting off the elevators. The trash bins near the elevator on our floor was constantly overflowing whenever we passed it. The room didn't feel sufficiently cleaned - found someone's curly hair on the sheets. The cap to where the shower pipe comes out of the wall was not in place. The furniture seemed old, nicked, and damaged. The breakfast food was mislabeled and mediocre. I would like to see more healthy offerings. Hoping the hotel will get the attention it needs so that we'll feel comfortable staying there in the future.

I love this place. Such a friendly staff includes a hot breakfast buffet. I have been choosing it as my #1 place for many years. Cristina is an excellent manager, she helps me to the maximum. I have so many family memories and it is close to everything. I recommend it 100%

I am extremely disappointed with their choice to use styrofoam plates, and plastic “silverware,” wrapped in more plastic. In this day and age, we should be more educated on the impact of the huge amount of trash this hotel (and other places) is generating and how styrofoam will not biodegrade and is NOT recyclable!!! The front desk worker was not even aware how bad styrofoam is for the environment. What happened to regular porcelain plates, or at least paper plates? The room also did not appear very clean. There were nose and hand prints on the window, as well as on the tables, and what appeared to be old pasta or something in the corner, near the microwave. We were so disgusted by the overwhelming amount of styrofoam used, that we will not be back to stay at this hotel, as I cannot support this in good conscience - unless they change this.

Bottom Line Up Front: Cheap hotel, nice staff, rude / inattentive managers, terrible maintenance issues, great location. I would not stay here again and recommend others look elsewhere.

My family and I stayed here for 8 nights. I really wanted to like this hotel and was very excited to stay here from the other reviews on multiple sites. Unfortunately our experience was not similar.

Pros: 1. The front desk staff was very courteous.
2. Location is excellent for Disney.
3. Breakfast is included and is pretty good. (not exceptional but all around good).
4. Pool and hot tub are great for kids (albeit sometimes neglected from a service stand point - not clean and no towels on multiple occasions).

Cons: 1. You have to "opt in" to house keeping.
2. We requested house keeping on several occasions from the front desk (in accordance with instructions) and got "ghosted."
3. Multiple maintenance issues during our stay
- clogged / overflowing toilet
-toilet flushing mechanism and handle not working properly
-room refrigerator had something rotten in it (almost threw up when I opened it)
-The key cards are terrible. (worst I've ever seen) We had to get our keys changed no kidding SEVEN TIMES. (They tell you to stay away from magnets, cell phones, and other cards. However in our experience we found the keys would just "quit" after about 36 hours regardless of how careful we were with the keys - we had a lot of experience trying to be careful with keys). The desk finally told us to just stop by and get new keys each evening when we returned before we went up to our room.
-Only two elevators for a large hotel with 7 floors (we were on floor 7). For part of the stay one of the elevators was out of order. After being restored it still made funny and unsetting sounds when passing through each floor.
-AC for each hall (outside rooms) was inadequate for cooling
-Ice machine on our floor was hit or miss.
4. Community bathrooms were not clean on several occasions we went in.

I'll stay somewhere else next time, even if it means paying a bit extra. It's a shame because I really was looking forward to this hotel. I was pretty disappointed.

This hotel is probably the best one around the old town area. Beside the furniture are more worn (note the chips on the photo) the sheets are older (note the fuzzy ball on the sheets), the hotel could do a better job in cleaning, see the blond hair on coffee table, brown hair on hair dryer, and soap stain on the bathroom floor. The younger guests was running around without drying off, the elevator floor was pretty wet. After checking into the room, front desk called if I was happy with the room, if I was not, they can switch to a new room. Overall, room is not bad, cleaning is just need to be more detailed.

Wow I was amazed at the outstanding service we received. The pool is open all the time. The bartender Kevin was awesome and from our hometown. Breakfast was very good and there's always coffee. It's close to old town. The rooms were brand new and remodeled. I will stay again and can't wait to!

If you're looking for an affordable hotel close to Disney and other theme parks, Comfort Suites is a great option. The hotel offers big suites that can accommodate a whole family, making it a great choice for those traveling with kids. Additionally, the buffet breakfast is a nice touch and provides a good start to the day.

However, there is one downside to the hotel: the AC machine can be quite loud, which can disturb your sleep.

This hotel is a great choice for a value hotel in this area. I stayed for 2 nights with my family of 4 for less than $300. This hotel is not fancy and doesn’t try to be but everything they have is fairly decent for the price.

-The beds we’ve pretty darn comfortable however the pillows were not great.
-Plenty of towels
-room a/c works great
-room and bathroom were clean with no issues
-breakfast was standard hotel breakfast fare, waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. it was fine
-pool open 24hrs!
-heated pool with hot tub and poolside bar! Bar didn’t serve food though which was a bummer. We found out that the hotel simply didn’t have a cook on staff to man the kitchen.
-they offered a shuttle to Disney which we used in the morning, however we had to Uber back in the afternoon, shuttle only has 2 pickup times.

Overall if you’re looking for a cheaper hotel option for your Disney trip this is a solid choice for the price. I also appreciate how they didn’t charge a bunch of random fees like other hotels in the area do and I like how the hotel is in overall good shape. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I would stay again.

Nice house, needs to be upgraded. If u are planning to cook, they don't have enough stuff to cook. Many of the kitchen stuff to cook were broken, melted or nothing there. Bed was ok, they need new pillows, bed sheets, drawers were pealing or broken. I have to say it was very clean! Pool was small, lil dirty but ok. Staff was ok.

I recently stayed at Encantada Resort and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. While the townhouse was spacious, it was not well-cleaned, despite being charged a significant cleaning fee of $140, which was not disclosed when I booked through my mobile phone.

The pool was also unclean, leading to my children developing skin allergies that required a doctor's visit. When I attempted to address these issues, I found that there was no host available on the property to handle complaints; everything had to be done by phone.

I spoke with the manager today at 10 AM, and found them to be very rude, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. Despite explaining the situation and the undisclosed fees, the manager insisted that there was nothing they could do and began yelling at me, showing a complete lack of understanding and professionalism.

Overall, this experience was very disappointing and ruined our vacation time. The resort’s failure to maintain cleanliness and the poor customer service have left me with no intention of returning.

Late check in as we planned this trip at the last minute as a surprise for our children. We arrive at 1:30am to check in we get our information door code DOESNT WORK SO MY FAMILY IS FORCED TO SLEEP IN THE CAR UNTIL 8am when someone arrives as the on-site security isn’t able to help get us in our BOOKED ACCOMMODATIONS

We bought a house here. Stupid rules, staff is constantly changing, there is no order. The pool is not cleaned. Closes at 8pm. I don't know what logic guides management. They just maximize profits, with disgusting service. Legal deception. The fitness room is never cleaned

Mini pool at the condo. Two large pools AND a hot tub jacuzzi at the main resort. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many tourists in his area from. All over the world. My family and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it. Prices per week is comfortable.

Great location being close to both Disney and Universal. Large resort with all the facilities that one wishes for on a holiday. We had a spacious apartment with all the equipments needed for a family along with a private hot tub and lake facing conservatory. Staff are very nice and helpful with special mention for Vanessa at the front desk. I am not surprised to see that this property was full. Great service. Thank you for making our stay memorable!!
