The owners were gracious and did everything possible to make our visit a pleasure for us. A perfect surprise for us was in addition to the normal practice of breakfast at a B&B there was optional dinner service prepared on site. Meals were a great part of our visit.

My husband Lloyd and I always enjoy our stay at the Red Horse BnB. It's like a hidden OASIS close to the Airport, Old Town, the Casino, and interesting places to eat out. Darlene ALWAYS serves a delicious breakfast to start our day and we totally enjoy visiting with her family and with the other guests. We always feel safe there AND enjoy walking around their fenced property to visit their farm critters & their Pottery Barn...Pretty sure all guests leave feeling rested & pampered. They even have a pool table available and usually a crossword puzzle to sit at awhile at if you so desire. We love it and highly recommend this BnB Sharon & LLoyd Marquardt

If I could give Red Horse BnB 10 stars I would. The farm was purchased in 1968 and all of the love that has gone into it since then it evident as soon as you cross through the front gate. You can feel it with the comfort of the home, the creativeness of the family is evident at every corner, with a love for community and their guests and a touch of fine detail in every room. This is a place I would love to return to again! Thank you for creating such a special place in NM.

This place was fantastic even in the middle of a freezing January. Our room was spacious and exceptionally comfortable. It even came stocked with soft drinks and filtered water. Snacks, including homemade cookies and fresh fruit, were available 24/7 in the dining room. The individual split heater in the room was quiet, did not blow directly on us and kept the room at a perfect temperature. The room came equipped with luxurious robes as well. The house is spacious with a pool table, lots of books and televisions (including one in the room) and a cozy fireplace. Breakfasts were delicious, something different, tasty and healthy every day. The innkeepers Darlene and her family are positively delightful. Red Horse is conveniently located just a few miles from the airport and major highways.

This place is amazing! I have stayed in 2 of the rooms and the camper. Each one is a little different - all extremely clean and decorated with care for different themes. The camper is great if you want a little more privacy, it is a nice size and very relaxing. And they will even prepare special order meals to accommodate different needs such as vegetarian, gluten-free etc. The grounds are beautiful and you can wander around and enjoy the flowers and orchard. Most importantly, Darlene and Phil are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to make sure everything about your stay is a great experience. Highly recommended!!!!!!

This large welcoming family home was the ideal base for our wedding anniversary trip. We stayed in a comfortable, cozy room with strategically arranged furniture and lighting. Phil and Darlene’s suggestions and recommendations fit us perfectly, from a quick but delicious late night take-out dinner to a high-end hard-to-get-into restaurant, as well as tourist must-visits. Carl’s personal tour of his wine cellar, pottery studio and antique collection was a highlight. But best of all was being greeted each morning by Darlene’s healthy, scrumptious breakfasts.

We loved our stay at Red Horse BnB! Phil and Darlene were very nice and hospitable. They saw to it that we had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our stay. The food was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. The home was exquisite and very special indeed--personal touches and sentimental items were peppered throughout. It is a home filled with love and history. We truly had a wonderful time and would highly recommend a stay at Red Horse.

Driving through severe rain forced us to look for a place to stay sooner than anticipated. We were very fortunate to find Red Horse BnB. Darlene and Phil were very gracious hosts and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Darlene is an awesome cook who uses food from their organic garden and eggs from their hens when preparing meals. I had a delicious dinner of pecan encrusted halibut and my husband enjoyed the wildcaught seared tuna. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast next morning was scrumptious with the best blueberry muffins we ever tasted. We were so happy to find Red Horse BnB and will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in the area. This hidden farm was a wonderful place to re-energize in order to continue our trip.

This room was gross! There was hair on the pillow, splatters on the walls of who knows what throughout the room, a bug in the tub. When I spoke with the office they brought me new pillows and coverlets. Customer service during this part was fine. But the biggest issue is that I got charged TWICE for one night and they refused to correct the issue. I originally reserved the room for Night A, called the same day to ask them to move it one day back due to travel issues. The woman said totally fine, can do, not an issue. Well she re-reserved us for the exact same night. So when I showed up on Night B, there was no reservation for us, not a big deal, the guy was very helpful and gave us a room. He did NOT however mention anything about me still having the reservation for the previous day or that I was being charged for that day. I wouldn't figure that out until about a week later when both charges showed up on my CC bill. I immediately called to ask them to correct it and was told that, by the woman who had "corrected" my reservation, that I had never changed the reservation and that I was a no-show. I went back and forth with them a few times but as I was on vacation I didn't want to spend anymore of my time on it. So not only was the room not worth the original price but I ended up paying DOUBLE for it because of their employees mistake. Giving 3 stars for service because the gentleman who was there when we stayed was nice/helpful, but the woman from the phone was rude, argumentative, and refused to acknowledge her mistake.

Truly a place to bring your family. We had a great time here on our multiple trips back, this time I was like I need to let others know. We love it, I bring my family every 3 to 4 months here when we are visiting family. The owners are very caring and not to mention how clean their rooms are, I can attest I have been to this place more than 8 times now… and I have no complaint. We will be coming back as usual.

I had high hopes for this hotel!But......The rooms are dirty! Floors, bedding, furniture. Half of the lights & plug-ins did not work, notified the front desk and they acted shocked ?Beds are horrible feels like your sleeping on a pull out couch!Instead of shampoo & conditionerIt's just shampoo and they were both empty, like they had already been used!Went to the front desk to get more and they gave me 2 shampoos that's were barley full?? I'm so confused arnt they supposed to be full & new?? & the owner acted shocked; like we were lying about the empty shampoo.Street racing all night! Such a loud are!! Heard gun shots in the middle of the night. The heat & cooling unit was so loud unbelievable!All-around disappointment!

Don't pay for this place. The rooms are uncomfortable and shabby. The service is very slow. The gal at the counter wouldn't help us out with a late check out, even though we had car problems and it was an extenuating circumstance. Also, she wasn't wearing shoes, which was gross. The area does not feel safe. The pool is a joke. Save your money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Homeless people pound on the door at night even though they claim they don't have a homeless problem while building a new concrete wall around the place. They had no handicap accessible rooms and say they have a heated pool which they have to turn on 30 minutes before you can go in and the water is still ice cold. Way overpriced for just a regular hotel room with two beds. We found a lot nicer room with pool access handicap access and everything we needed for half the price just a couple miles away.
