Jackson Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Jackson, Michigan and the south-central Michigan corridor

Best Time to Visit

  • Summer (June–August): Best season. Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn (near Chelsea) hosts NASCAR races in June and August and those weekends are the single biggest hotel demand events in the region. The Irish Hills lakes and Michigan State University area are popular summer destinations. Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead for MIS race weekends.
  • Fall (September–November): Second most comfortable season. Michigan State University home football games in East Lansing drive demand at Okemos and Lansing-area properties. Good availability at Jackson and Chelsea suburban hotels outside MSU game weekends.
  • Spring (April–May): Good value window. MSU graduation and spring events drive a short demand spike in Okemos and Lansing. Good availability otherwise across the Jackson and south Michigan corridor.
  • Winter (December–February): Lowest pricing window. Good time for couples to find deals on jacuzzi suites at the Chelsea, Jackson, and Eaton Rapids properties. Michigan winters are cold but indoor amenities make this a cozy season.
Booking tip: This guide covers a wide corridor along I-94 from Brighton (near Detroit) through Jackson, Chelsea, and Jonesville, and along I-96/US-127 toward Lansing, Okemos, and Dimondale. Properties range from 20 to 80 miles apart. Check the address carefully to confirm the property is near your destination.

Important Booking Tips for Jackson

  • Michigan International Speedway race weekends: MIS in Brooklyn (near Chelsea) hosts NASCAR races in June and August. These weekends fill all Chelsea, Jackson, and Ann Arbor area hotels. Check the MIS race calendar before booking any summer weekend in this corridor.
  • Wide geographic area: Properties span from Brighton to Jonesville, up to 80 miles apart. Confirm the specific town is near your destination before booking.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels have jacuzzis. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking to avoid a standard room.
  • Best budget options: Travelodge Jackson ($64/night) and Comfort Inn Chelsea ($65/night, 9.3/10) are the most affordable confirmed jacuzzi hotels. Comfort Inn Chelsea offers one of the best price-to-rating combinations in the entire area.
  • The English Inn and Munro House for romantic retreats: Both are boutique properties offering a genuine country inn experience with private jacuzzis. The English Inn in Eaton Rapids has a full restaurant and golf course setting. Munro House in Jonesville offers spa services. Both are best booked directly.
  • Verify with the hotel: Some travelers report jacuzzi rooms can be substituted at check-in if not confirmed directly with the property at the time of booking.

Had a wonderful weekend getaway for my wife's birthday. Cailyn was fantastic during check in and making sure to fully explain everything. The picnic basket dinner and morning breakfasts delivered to our room was a great touch. Would definitely come back

This place is an absolute gem. We visited for a mini honeymoon during march and the place was gorgeous. The rooms are amazing and the hospitality was superb. Spencer helped us check in and was very informative about the whole stay and gave great recommendations for restaurants around the town .
They have trails on the property grounds that leads to a beautiful private lake. Tina and Caitlyn did a great job setting up the room and breakfast each morning
The breakfast was some of the best I have ever had very traditional recipes and great presentation
The bathtub in the room was so relaxing. We took the royal treatment package that comes with a picnic basket and couples massage worth every penny
We will surely be back for our anniversary

My wife and I stayed there and it was a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and really helpful with ideas for the local area for site seeing and eating. The room was incredible and had a great mix of old and new to make the stay very enjoyable. The grounds and walking paths were very nice, and the lake was beautiful. We both really enjoyed spending a couple hours in the igloo one night, as well as just sitting outside and enjoying the wildlife and views. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!!!

I booked this trip as a surprise for my fiancé’s birthday and we had the best time. The Romeo and Juliet suite has such a romantic vibe, the jacuzzi was our favorite amenity. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the fire place made the room so cozy. We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning and the food was great. We got the couples massage and it helped us relax so much more. Dinner at Schaendorf was great and we were able to have a romantic dinner at Salt of the Earth. Staff was wonderful at this B&B. Everything was perfect. Having a picnic in the outdoor igloo was a fun part of our Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be back, especially when the weather warms up. So much to do, we wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thanks to the staff for creating such a fun and enjoyable experience!

From the moment we planned the surprise to the final toast of the evening, The English Inn provided an experience that was nothing short of magical. The ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for a truly intimate evening, where every detail was cared for with impeccable attention.

Joe, our point of contact, went above and beyond to help coordinate a surprise re-proposal to my fiancée, Julie. His willingness to assist and ensure everything went smoothly was remarkable—capturing the moment with photos that we'll treasure forever.

As for the meal, it was a culinary delight. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, succulent and full of flavor, paired exquisitely with the rich and savory escargot. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality.

Our evening at The English Inn was more than just dinner—it was a celebration of love, made all the more special by the thoughtful staff and the cozy, elegant atmosphere. We can't thank Joe and the entire team enough for their part in making our evening unforgettable.

We recommend The English Inn to anyone looking for exceptional food, service, and an atmosphere that turns a meal into a memorable event.

Can't speak for the rooms. Dinner was great. The beef wellington was very good, and the cadence of the service was the best I've ever had. Not a single lull or overly attentive moment.... absolutely seamless. Roger was a phenomenal server with impeccable timing.

I will admit I have, on rare occasion, had marginally better food, but the ambiance and service were perfect. 10/10 will be back.

Came here for my birthday dinner! (They don’t really do anything special for birthdays though)

The homemade bread rolls and salad were phenomenal!! We should’ve asked for seconds on those…

I got the Beef Wellington which tasted great but the portion was way smaller than expected. It reminded me of a sirloin steak wrapped in a pillsbury crescent roll. Glad I got to try it, but probably won’t get it again because of the price.

Wife got the prime rib, which came in a good portion size. It tasted good for prime rib, but I think we like other cuts of meat over prime rib.

We loved the fancy atmosphere and the antique decorations. You really sink into the chairs here which was surprising but still comfortable. I also liked the low set lighting although it did make it hard to take photos. They took our coats which was rather fancy. We walked around outside and loved seeing all the nice scenery and all the good photo ops!

Definitely a good restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, given the prices!

This was our honeymoon night and we had the ultimate dinner every bite was fantastic. Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the lobster stuffed walleye was amazing. Salad dressing was a light citrus vinaigrette there was goat cheese and walnuts in the salad. The carrot cake was great but the creme brulee was the best I have ever had. Our room in the cottage was beautiful and had a gas fireplace a Jacuzzi tub and a covered porch . The mimosa breakfast this morning was wonderful. Already planning on when we can go back
