Shreveport Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Shreveport, LA and surrounding area

Best Time to Visit

  • Fall (September–November): Peak season. The Louisiana State Fair at the State Fairgrounds in late October through mid-November is the largest single demand event in the market. NFL and college football weekends drive casino hotel demand in Bossier City. The Red River Revel arts festival in October fills downtown Shreveport properties. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for State Fair and Red River Revel weekends.
  • Spring (March–May): Strong demand around Mardi Gras (late February into March) and the Mudbug Madness Festival in May. The Louisiana Boardwalk and casino hotels in Bossier City stay busy with weekend visitors from Texas and Arkansas. A pleasant time for couples with moderate temperatures.
  • Summer (June–August): Hot and humid, but casino tourism keeps Bossier City hotel demand steady year-round. The Independence Bowl events and Fourth of July celebrations bring summer visitors. Good mid-week availability at competitive rates across the market.
  • Winter (December–February): Quietest leisure season. The Independence Bowl in December creates a short demand spike near Independence Stadium. January and February offer the best rates across the market - Clover Inn at $59/night and Boomtown Hotel Casino at $71/night are at their most affordable.
Booking tip: Shreveport-Bossier City is an affordable Jacuzzi hotel market with a strong casino resort component. 2439 Fairfield B&B ($146, 10/10) is the highest-rated and most romantic property in the market - with a perfect score and a distinctive pink hot tub. Boomtown Hotel Casino ($71, 9.0/10) has a heart-shaped hot tub - one of the few in Louisiana. Horseshoe Bossier Casino ($90, 9.0/10) is the most-reviewed property in the market with nearly 10,000 reviews. Casino resorts subsidize room rates with gaming revenue, keeping prices competitive across the Bossier City corridor.

Important Booking Tips for Shreveport-Bossier City

  • Louisiana State Fair (late October–mid-November): The Louisiana State Fair is the largest single demand event in the Shreveport-Bossier market. Hotels across both cities fill during fair weekends - book 4–6 weeks ahead, especially for properties near the fairgrounds and along the Red River casino corridor.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking to avoid a standard room at check-in. At casino resorts like Horseshoe and Boomtown, Jacuzzi suites are a specific room category that must be requested.
  • 2439 Fairfield B&B for the most romantic stay: With a perfect 10/10 score, 2439 Fairfield B&B on Fairfield Avenue is the highest-rated Jacuzzi property in Shreveport - offering a distinctive pink hot tub, private balconies, and free breakfast in a Queen Anne-style home. A true one-of-a-kind romantic experience in the market.
  • Heart-shaped Jacuzzi at Boomtown Casino: Boomtown Hotel Casino in Bossier City is the only property in the Shreveport market with a heart-shaped in-room Jacuzzi - at $71/night with a 9.0/10 rating, it combines casino entertainment with a romantic tub feature at an affordable price.
  • Casino resorts for value: Horseshoe Bossier Casino ($90, 9.0/10) and Boomtown Hotel Casino ($71, 9.0/10) subsidize room rates with gaming revenue - offering top-rated Jacuzzi suites at prices well below comparable non-casino hotels. Both are excellent value for couples who enjoy casino dining and entertainment alongside their hot tub stay.
  • Best budget options: Clover Inn & Suites ($59/night, 9.5/10) is the most affordable top-rated Jacuzzi hotel in the market - and one of the best budget values in all of Louisiana. Boomtown Hotel Casino ($71/night) is the next most affordable with its heart-shaped tub feature.

The linoleum was peeling up in the bathroom from water damage and likely had mold underneath. Entire hotel smelled funny and moldy. Water tasted and smelled moldy and gross. Employees were soooo nice.

We stayed Friday Valentine’s Day night of 2025. The suite was nice. It had a mini fridge, living area and table. However, the jacuzzi tub did not work. I called to check if I was missing a button, but they confirmed it was broken. I believe that is something they should’ve stated on the phone with me before I paid for the room. Front desk workers were polite at check in. However, we went to the bar that evening, and the bartender lady was not professional nor friendly what so ever. She stayed talking to her little clique of coworkers instead of tending to us guests. We were literally the only 2 guests at the bar. The other person sitting next to us was a highly intoxicated, drunken female employee (off of her shift) making an utter fool of herself. The bartender also disappeared on us for a good 30 minutes, leaving us with this drunken girl/ employee next to us. Additionally, when she came back we asked about the happy hour sign we saw on the screen. She had no info on it at all. Lastly, we asked for a shot and she gave us some weird concoction of blueberry purée type stuff which tasted like it had absolutely zero alcohol in it. Anyone who knows what a shot is (let alone a bartender) knows it’s usually straight liqueur or very close. So rude, immature, no help whatsoever, and not friendly or professional at all. We were stuck listening to her and her drunken coworker make fools of themselves instead of help guests. Pathetic. Other than that, nice location! Walked to Blind Tiger to eat and grab drinks. Their staff was so friendly and helpful. Had a great time! Will stay somewhere else next time though.

I travel regularly for work and often get stuck in generic/mid hotels because of their convenience to my work. I chose the Remington Suites because it seemed like it would be an alternative to that, but at a similar rate. I LOVED staying at this hotel and will always come back whenever I'm in Shreveport. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the building is very cool and the themed rooms are awesome. I stayed in the Audubon room and the decor was perfect - not over the top, but very clearly in the theme of the room. The room was spacious and the bed and seating was comfortable. There are places to eat/drink within walking distance and it's a short drive to the airport. So glad I chose the Remington and look forward to staying in a different room next time!
Love the ‘Helen’ suite! I wonder why! Great southern hospitality!

I am a former resident of Shreveport and always wanted to experience this hotel. The lobby is spacious and rich with historic beauty. The staff at check in, valet and bar could not be more friendly and helpful. The suite is huge, but very dated and this the disappointment. The mattress was very comfortable. The room smelled smoky and the bathroom is sooo dated! I was afraid to fell crawling into the high bathtub to shower. The towels are thin and the tollet paper thin and cheap. I hate hotels that do not use thirsty towels and use cheap tissue.

This hotel was different but a good different. We got a vip suite and fell in love with all the interior design!
The only thing was weird was the parking?
Still don't know were your supposed to park if you don't valet. But you'd probably want to valet park anyway.

Best place to stay in Shreveport hands down. I stay here monthly for work & the staff and I are on a first name basis. Chris, Jett, and Lewis will bend over backwards to make sure you’ve got everything you need. Valet service is exceptional and affordable. There’s a little bar downstairs if you need a drink. They even have a full service boutique salon & spa with massage & Hydrafacial! I’ve had both & they are fantastic. Housekeeping is by request, but that’s totally fine with me. The rooms are all themed differently in a chic boutique style & they’re all beautiful. Very comfortable beds. I’ve stayed in about all of them, and I do have my favorites now! Most rooms I’ve stayed in have either shower/tub combo or both. The penthouse jacuzzis are my favorite! All rooms I’ve stayed in have a mini fridge. I believe most had a microwave. No room service because there is no kitchen, but the staff is so helpful with dinner recommendations. Also, the penthouse is so affordable, I highly recommend you splurge! It’s worth it. The views are beautiful. Coffee & snacks are available in the morning. No full service breakfast. All rooms have smart TVs which I prefer so I can login and watch Netflix. Wifi can be spotty in some of the rooms but 4th floor & lobby have good connections. Overall beautiful hotel & I highly recommend it for your trip to Shreveport!
The hotel itself is beautiful! I’m local and I’d never stayed here so my wife & I booked a room for my birthday. She called in advance & spoke with the staff about accommodations but everything was different when we got there.. we were told we could get in the pool but when we arrived they said it’s only for spa guests. The website also says you could rent access to the rooftop for a private dinner but when we arrived, they told us they didn’t have a restaurant. I’m not sure if it was a race thing or a sexuality thing but we didn’t feel very welcomed by the staff at all. I don’t think it was worth the money; I won’t be back.

Locals (recent) to the area and we'd never heard of the The Remington until I did some browsing for a place where my husband and I could go for a couples massage.
The massage was lovely, the staff was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience very much.
Although we didn't stay the night we did take get to take a tour of the hotel and we absolutely loved it. It really is a hidden gem. The rooms were beautiful even considering that they aren't "luxury".
The property makes for a great venue with their banquet room near the roof top.
I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.
I understand not everyone can afford their prices but I'd much rather spend my money here than at the other hotels which are crowded with people doing who knows what.

Zero stars. This was the nastiest room I have ever been in! At first we were put on the dog floor which we said we did not want! We were told there was only 1 other room left and it was on the same floor. I booked the room in line and this was not even an option. We get to our room and it was filthy!! If I could post pictures I will!!! We let the front desk know we were not happy but again told we didn't have any other option. The room smelt like a wet dog that has pottied all over the place! So this morning when I went to check out of course I went to the "manager" and while she was looking at the pictures I took. She informed me that there was nothing she was going to do about it because we didn't change rooms! I let her know we tried! She wasn't even worried that there was dried pee in the tub!!! It really was disgusting!!! Next time we have a choice to stay anywhere we want in Shreveport Bossier City it sure won't be at Bally's!!! I promise you that!!

The front desk ladies are nice and welcoming once you arrive. The rooms are nice and well maintained , the tvs can use a little upgrade but other than that the casino and views were great. We were a 5-10 min drive to restaurants and activities. Definitely pleasant experience.

The room is nice. It includes a mini fridge, coffee maker and safe in closet along with a hair dryer and toiletries. The room was spotless along with updated furnishings. The view was great. The only thing I would've liked to have in the room was a microwave

Well, my first room the shower was not draining. And towels were missing from the room..
After redressing, and changing rooms.. I stayed in my room...I didn't feel like visiting the casino or the restaurant. I did sleep well and got some rest.

Huge room, crazy cool bathroom. The staff did their jobs but did not interact with guests unless absolutely necessary. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The on demand TV menu offers movies that are still in theaters, for a fee. The bathroom was bigger than my college dorm room. The casino is 3 floors, tables and slot banks spaced nicely so everything feels very open. If you liked the ElDorado you will be pleasantly surprised that the new ownership and name have kept its standards.
