They’re the worst, they will act like their going to give you a job and say they’ll contact you and never do, and when you call they’re just going to give you the run around instead of telling the truth. Don’t apply or waste your time going on a interview, they say their hiring for all positions but they’re really not.
We went to afternoon tea for my birthday today and we're extremely disappointed. The food was not up to par at all. There were only three tea options and we weren't offered to try any aside from our one we picked. The food was not good and we hardly ate any. Nothing served was on their tea menu online. It all tasted like it came from Costco. I would not recommend the afternoon tea.
Attended a professional event here. Left my sunglasses in the ballroom. They didn’t turn up — the event I attended was full of working male professionals so I have no reason to believe any of the doctors at this brunch pocketed them.
While the gal at the front desk was helpful in taking down my information, it’s frustrating these very rare vintage fendi sunglasses haven’t turned up….
Housekeeping had already turned the event room when I realized they were forgotten on the premises. I hope whoever swiped them enjoys them 🙃
There was an issue at my house and I stayed here for a month. It was a great location in downtown Birmingham, right next to the hotel there was a park. It was a great place to walk around with my dog. There were many great restaurants around as well, most of which were walking distance. The inside of the hotel was incredible likewise. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. I had to change rooms many times while I stayed there, and all of them were very nice and clean. The gym at the hotel was nice and had almost all the equipment you could need. The lobby was stunning and the restaurant (Rugby Grille) was very good. The service was nice and the staff treated us nicely.
For being in a busy area and having events happening at the hotel - it was peaceful and we were well taken care of when the room we requested originally didn’t have a tub and were moved to one that did. Staff was friendly, understanding & accommodating. It was a lovely weekend getaway close to home.
Great location, beautiful hotel, service is good. However, the hotel building may not be insulated enough because I can hear the pedestrian talking and very loud car noises while I am in my third floor room during the day and night.
Stayed here last night (1-21-23) and I just want to say- the gentleman who was working the front desk around 9:30pm who helped us check in was so accommodating to us, especially when I realized I forgot my wallet at home and had no form of ID on me after booking a room online last minute. Everyone was wonderful, the stay was very pleasant and it was a nice last minute getaway. 10/10 !!
I'll start out by saying I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone! Maher and the staff are absolutely amazing, kind hearted and very caring! They have went above and beyond for us! I couldn't express how grateful we are to have met such a wonderful staff providing a very comfortable stay!! Hotel has very nice spacious rooms, hot tub and pool, laundry facility, gym, breakfast and dinner daily, happy hour and plenty more. Location is wonderful!! Big shout out to Maher and the staff your all the best ❤️❤️
If you're arriving at 7am they want you to pay for 4 hours plus the next night, even if you're a platinum rewards member. I called another hotel and they were able to honor an early check-in. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect.
We stayed at The Drury Inn & Suites for 5 days recently. We were very impressed with the staff, starting with the manager, Adam, supervisors, Michelle & Angela & in housekeeping, Nora. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. It was like a nice home away from home!
Staff was helpful. No room service unless requested. Place was clean and everything was working. Fan for bathroom was in the living room, which was a little weird, but it worked. Pull out couch was very uncomfortable. Towels were a rough. Over all very happy with stay
The room was fantastic, service was incredible! Love the drink kickback! Pool and hot tub was amazing! My only downside was the wi-fi was not working or super slow. Other than that would stay again
I was on a business trip and it was my first time staying at the Drury Inn. Honestly, I had a good experience - Rooms, Beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was great. Good location. I would recommend the Drury Inn to anyone visiting the Troy area. Really enjoyed the breakfast bar. Kudos to the staff and maintenance team!
