I photographed a wedding at Sewanee Inn a week ago. The venue was beautiful, all of the people were lovely and kind. The Inn is gorgeous, the food was wonderful... I loved the extra touches like the sugar scrub in the bathroom, the lemon water and coffee in the lobby, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff... there's not a single thing I could complain about. It was truly lovely.

We dined for dinner recently, and were frankly blown away at how wonderful our meals were. The pork meatloaf was so unique and fabulous. My friend got the lambchops in a pasta broth that was outstanding. The service was fabulous too. We will back again and again.

Such a wonderful hotel. Seriously the nicest and softest beds ever. I need to know the brand since I’m considering getting one. Staying here was so relaxing. We went on a nice hike within walking distance. The service was amazing as well! Very clean
As wedding planners, we love working in The Sewanee Inn. The staff is friendly and attentive, the facilities are beautiful and well-maintained, and the flow of the spaces works perfectly for an unforgettable event. We have recommended The Sewanee Inn to so many of our couples planning their special day. Thank you from the Wildflower Wedding Planning Team!

I wanted to love this hotel, because I love the concept. Pros: eco friendly, amazingly comfortable bed, great location, fast maintenance service late at night to fix the shower head. Cons: They should advertise that there is basically no privacy inside the room - the shower and toilet are in glass enclosures which can be uncomfortable for more private folks traveling together; there is no access to hot water for tea in the room, and a pot of hot water costs $3; and the over easy fried eggs were not even really cooked - egg whites were completely liquid.

The 1 Hotel Bar was phenomenal. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. A special thanks to KB and Drew for making the experience magical. If you’re ever in Nashville, make sure to add 1 Hotel as a stop for a stay, drinks, and/or food. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm incredibly grateful for the outstanding service I received during my unexpected two-day stay in Nashville due to a flight cancellation. Anthony's thoughtful care, including providing aromatherapy for relaxation, made a challenging situation much more manageable. The overall experience at the hotel exceeded my expectations, from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the attentive staff. This has solidified my choice for future downtown stays, and I can't express enough how thankful I am. I eagerly anticipate returning to this exceptional hotel.

The good- great esthetics. Love the plants, industrial open concept of the room, natural lighting, comfy bed, fantastic linens, double sided mirror. Service was impeccable. The bad- bathroom lacked privacy. The bathroom door is frosted and does not fully close. The shower is completely open for all to see and directly in front of the mirror. The sink only dispenses cold water. We only had one washcloth. While we had a beautiful view, the windows were coated in dirt and ruined the experience. There were drag marks all over the floor that appeared to be where a heavy plant was rearranged. There was also stains on the rug.Would I stay here again? This was my first experience at a 1 Hotel. While not terrible, I likely will stick to Hilton and Marriott.

Truly enjoyed my stay here at the 1 Hotel. The ambiance is so unique and comforting. However, I am dissatisfied at the unexplained $100 charge to my credit card. There was no additional food or beverages ordered and no destruction to the property of the room, which was acknowledge by the receptionist. She did remove this charge, however, it is a little unsettling to know that if I didn't catch this nothing would have been done.
