The most divine peaceful place to lay your head. Not hard to find or get to but feels like a world away. Beautiful and clean and well appointed. Owner is sweet and charming and makes a delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!

I found this little gem in the trees when my friend and I were hunting for lodging close to a wedding venue this summer. What a gem this B&B really is. We’ve never stayed at a B&B before, and we didn’t expect all that this great little place has to offer. The room was spectacular. Great accommodations! Perfect views of the trees both inside the room and outside on the 2 decks. Every inch of this property offers peace and quiet. There’s heated floors which we appreciated at night, comfortable king bed, dual shower heads in the bathroom, and such great character with little knick knacks in the best spots. Our room was detailed with such great wood features (wood from their own land!) Great little hiking trail that loops around the property down to the street and back.Breakfasts were gourmet. Every morning was a treat to sit down with Beth to enjoy fresh coffee and her great dishes. She is such a kind hearted lady with great care and interest in her guests. And also has great knowledge of the surrounding areas. We enjoyed getting to know her during our stay and feel as if we left with a new family member. Beth we will absolutely be back to visit and thank you so much for sharing your home to make our stay so wonderful! Take care!

We enjoyed two nights in the Pacific Yew Suite at Lanzarotta B&B. The setting was spectacular, the room was wonderful and Beth was the perfect host. While we thoroughly enjoyed visits to the nearby raptor center and vineyards, we found ourselves wanting to simply remain and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Lanzarotta.

I had an absolute wonderful experience at this location! Beth was so welcoming and made sure I was comfortable (the food was absolutely delicious! The picture is her caramel pecan French toast with bacon and potatoes). I went as a break and to enjoy nature and the room was perfect. I will definitely be coming back again with my mom and will be a go to destination for recovering from burn out.If you're looking for a nice quiet place to relax, enjoy nature away from the city with great company, this is the destination to go!

Mark and Beth have created such a spectacular place for their guests. It is the perfect balance of a rustic aesthetic with modern sensibilities. It is serene, private, clean and meditative. I so deeply enjoyed sitting on the porch with a cup of tea, listening to the wide variety of local birds. My husband and I plan to return as soon as possible! We really loved talking to Mark and Beth over breakfast because they are such warm, friendly and down-to-earth people. The food that they provided was also delicious and they even accommodated our Vegetarian diet!

We love this hotel. It's right on the river with spectacular views. It's also on a walking trail. They have pet friendly rooms, but call ahead for availability. The staff is very friendly. Very nice rooms & general accomodations. Nice fitness center & pool. The restaurant is fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location by the riverside. Our room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a fridge and microwave. There's a fantastic riverside restaurant, and they offer coupons to lower the cost of meals.

Room with one bed, view of parking lot. $235 for a night, no coffee in lobby. No breakfast, except in restaurant. Bowl of oatmeal $14.You can smell the greed.Won't be staying there again.

I did not stay in this hotel. I was charged for staying in this hotel and am now disputing it with my credit card company. I did not make this reservation and did not know about the whole deal. when i tried to talk with the manager she let me know that if I didn't pay the $900 and put in a dispute with my credit card I would be black listed from Best Western. Truly - with this type of attitude I would NEVER stay at Best Western or its affiliates. I will always choose hospitality that makes the customer and potential customer number one. Frankly this is not the kind of business I would support. - added response -- I see the managers response which is not the point and is aimed to deflect - I did not make this reservation. when i told the weekend manager this her first response was 'if you dispute this you will be black listed from Best Westerns' Not - 'let's see if we can fix this' - it was an immediate threat. i dont know who made this reservation but am working to find out. the charges have been disputed and I hope Best Western can learn to do better.

Stayed the night here for a mother/daughter winery getaway. What a beautiful hotel! We had a riverfront view of the Columbia and a balcony. The room was great. Such beautiful scenery. Our initial failed check-in and one waitress who kept messing our order put us off at the beginning. However, the man who checked us in later, as well as the wait staff at dinner/ordering cocktails, more than made up for the first experiences. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, fantastic restaurant, hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. The suite rooms are great with the ability to have a full kitchen. The standard riverside rooms were pretty basic but clean and had great views. The pool was outdoors but heated. Our only complaint is that the pillows are terrible! I'm not even sure you could call them pillows. Also, they lack signage in front of the hotel for check-in, and the parking lot is a little confusing since it's shared with other businesses. Otherwise, we would love to stay here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hood River. Our room was clean and spacious and had a wonderful view of the river. The restaurant at the hotel has really delicious food and great views of the river. There is a paved trail that follows the river that was really nice to run on in the mornings. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also really nice!

I have stayed here many times since the late 90s. The location is great!! Love the views. Some of the rooms are better than others. I believe the west wing rooms are more updated. This last time they put me in east wing. It wasn't bad, but seemed older. Always enjoy the restaurant, bar, and pool/hot tub.
