It's a hip hotel in a cool part of LA. For Globalist status we did get an upgrade to a suite and it included breakfast.- Great location and within walking distance to many tourist spots- It's a chic property- Friendly front desk staff- There is a popular bar on the roof so they do let you know that there is loud music on Friday and Saturday nights. (luckily we were able to address that and put in a room on a lower floor)- There is a robot that delivers packages and waters to your roomIn summary it was just fine for a two night stay however I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer as it's in a busy part of town. It's expensive and LA pretentious which isn't always the vibe my husband and I are looking for.

Spent a week here and really liked it. Cool space with interesting NFT art everywhere. Wine and cheese hour in the afternoon, good food in the restaurant and a nice gym.Having stayed here and the Thompson around the corner this place is far superior for all of the reasons mentioned above. As a globalist this place is much more attentive and just has a far superior breakfast.Staff was friendly and it's nice having food deliveries brought up by a robot. We'll be back in a few weeks!

Guy at check-in counter was extremely unfriendly. We arrived at 2pm (official check-in is 4pm which is a little late, other hotels are usually 3pm) and he said we had to pay for $75 early check in (which we did because we were so tired). that was disappointing given that the room was already ready anyway, and that it was not full capacity, we were staying 5 (!) nights and it was near the new year celebration. There was also no festive mood within the hotel outside of paid entry to the restaurants around. husband tried asking for HDMI cable one day since their TV did not support apple devices (which is pretty shocking in this time and age and neither of us were using android devices) and the staff was rude and unhelpful. area around the hotel was seedy. we had to call housekeeping thrice and came back to an uncleaned room at night and had to evacuate so that housekeeping could clean the room. Also, toilet has a curtain from the outside which is half transparent and there's no way around it so please take note if you're not traveling as a couple. Guy on the last day at the counter during checkout was nice, but he was the only one. room decently new and clean. overall, a disappointing stay for a hyatt associated hotel.

The front desk staff is great, the valet folks as well, the management team depends of the person but they have some persona at the Higher level that needs to take some skill classes how to deal with customers, very unprofessional. In my last stay my room got some leaking water from the roof. This hotel is focused on its night life’s.The breakfast is great.

The Dream Hotel in Hollywood offers a perfect base for tourists seeking the full "Hollywood" experience. The highlight of our stay was the amazing rooftop at the Highlight Room, which provided fantastic views. While the wait staff left something to be desired, the food was outstanding. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, with dreamy beds. The front desk staff and lobby security were exceptional, going above and beyond to assist us.However, it's worth noting that this is primarily a nightlife hotel with Tao and Beauty Essex, both offering an amazing menu. If you're looking for a vibrant, central location, this is it. Just be aware that there is a visible homeless presence in the area, but the hotel's security does an excellent job of keeping them away from guests. Keep in mind that valet parking comes at a steep $60 per night. Overall, a great choice for those wanting to immerse themselves in the heart of Hollywood.

The rooms were beautiful! Every single employee interaction was very pleasant, if not also helpful. Brian/Bryan, the concierge, is amazing! In addition to being friendly and helpful, he got us into hard to eat spots and had great recommendations. The hotel was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we had a spectacular visit.I can't recommend this place enough.

Very nicely located hotel. The staff are extremely nice and professional. It is a typical Four Seasons experience. The only thing is the spa for the shower, sauna and steam room are a little too small.

The room was overstuffed with furniture, could have given up a chair and table so that the beds would have been Queens or Fulls instead of twins. The room wasn't ready at check-in, but they comped us a round of drinks in the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was great from our balcony.

Their care and attention never disappoints, if you’re looking for an amazing dinning experience make them a part of your trip stops, you’ll never be left feeling uncared for. Their food and drink quality are always on-point.

I'm leaving this review as a regular at the spa and having eaten a few times at their restaurants, but not having stayed in the rooms.Overall this is a good place, but there are some issues with management. The staff are great and bring a very high quality of service. The masseuses, including Annie and Yao, are amazing. Plant Food And Wine is a good restaurant on the spa level with healthy vegan cuisine (by the chef Matthew of Bad Vegan fame, but he was the good guy in the doc) and great service from Kevin.I was disappointed at my most recent visit as they suddenly decided I couldn't access the pool and hot tub area anymore as a spa guest (oh, unless I agreed to be upsold on services I don't want that are only catered towards girly girls - manicure or facial packages). They also changed their service in terms of how they let you navigate around the building, because I was told to go over to this hidden elevator by the lower restaurant and they no longer walk you over, even though I couldn't find it at first. It's upsetting to be downgraded and treated like a second class citizen just for not paying more than the monthly ~$300 I've been spending here for self care. You only notice how mediocre the spa is after they cut the outdoor area access because they blast upbeat music, even in the sauna, making it impossible to relax, which is the whole purpose for going. It's also too crowded now and you have to stand there waiting for a shower after getting out of a hot steam room. There is nowhere to lie down. The only seating area inside is in a hallway where people have to constantly walk by you. I felt like I was on the train, still part of the intense urban energy. Definitely not a sanctuary.Compare this to other Four Seasons spas like the one in Vegas, or abroad, where they don't try to nickel and dime you like L.A. loves to do. It makes you feel like trash there, like you don't belong, but then why take our money and grant any non-guests access in the first place? The downstairs restaurant isn't great either. They tried to charge me an absurd "Market Price" for a steak with nothing accompanying it, literally an a la carte steak for what was I believe over $100 without mentioning the actual price first, though I think they may have reversed that charge later, I didn't keep checking back. The area is loud from traffic outside. You just generally get that snobby Beverly Hills vibe like you're in Pretty Woman. The staff are nice, but what they call their "Executive Committee" makes some odd business decisions while expecting people to keep paying the same amount for fewer services. It felt like when Republicans in Congress suddenly cut my unemployment insurance in 2014. Like some other reviews mentioned, not a lot of empathy, and it's hard to relax when everything keeps changing. The staff were on strike at this hotel in mid-2023, meaning they're not being treated fairly. And they do a great job. They just need their overlords to stop messing things up for them and have fair labor practices and pay.It takes more money to obtain a new customer than to keep an existing one, and locals will be more loyal than a tourist who only comes out once in a lifetime or on occasional business. If you don't want us there, just don't allow locals anymore. In the meantime, there's a lot of competition on spas out there.
