My Enchanting Escape: A Personal Review of Faena Hotel in Miami BeachFrom the moment I walked through the grand doors of the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly magical. The greetings from the valet team and the smooth check-in process set the tone for an extraordinary stay, leaving me wondering why I hadn't discovered this haven sooner. The atmosphere of the patio dining area for breakfast and the outdoor lounge for afternoon drinks was absolutely enchanting. Surrounded by verdant foliage and exquisite decor, I found myself transported to a realm of relaxation and indulgence with every sip and bite. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the exceptional team members at Faena Hotel. Each staff member I encountered was a testament to the hotel's dedication to providing top-notch customer service. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel like royalty throughout my stay.In essence, Faena Hotel in Miami Beach isn't just a place to lay your head – it's a sanctuary where every moment is crafted to perfection. Whether you're searching for tranquility, luxury, or simply a taste of paradise, this hotel exceeds all expectations. If you want an unmatched experience, the Faena is the right choice.

The Faena is a work of art! We have been for many vacations and this past year had our wedding at the Faena. The rooms are beautiful. I highly recommend upgrading to a suite. We had breakfast in our room and the butler service provided a beautiful display. The beach service is impeccable. You MUST stay here during your next Miami vacation.

Tip top best that Miami has to offer. Second to none. Your breath will be taken away as soon as you enter the grand lobby. It's simply beautiful. Eye candy for your eyes. Everything about the place is awesome.

The artwork at this hotel is the most creative and imaginative that I have seen, and made my stay exceptional. It's like being in a museum. The room had a beautiful view over the ocean, and the furniture in the main room of the suite was beautiful. For the exceptional atmosphere I rated the hotel 5 starsThere are a couple of ways the hotel could improve. First, the rooms are getting a bit old - the floors could use refinishing, and the tiles regrouting. I think the bedroom was missing a piece of furniture - besides the bed, two side tables and a chair it didn't have any. Practically, that means there's nowhere to put a speaker. Room service was a bit slow, with dishes left until the mid afternoon. "Over-medium" eggs came out relatively uncooked. These are little things, but for a hotel where you will pay through the nose, details matter.

Horrible experience at Faena. Customer service is lacking massively. Elitist behaviour on the beach with the beach umbrella removed while we were in the water as they assumed we were not staying at the hotel, and rather than ask, just did sneaky things behind your back. Then, overcharged us on the room rate. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls go unanswered. No one takes responsibility and it is by far, the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in our lives. The hotel is nice, everything else is absolute garbage.

Love the hotel, and the service was incredible. Most impressive was the bell men Eric Byrd. This gentlemen always had a smile on his face, positive energy and knew me by name each time he saw me. The day i checked out he saw me with my carry on and gave me a red Faena bag, i said what's this for ? he told me i have time to kill and its a beautiful day, he suggested I put my bathing suite on and take a dip before I go and I could use this bag for my bathing suit, so i took his advice. Wow what a thinker, upper management if your reading this give this man a raise!

This place is almost impossible to put into words, but I will try. I like to call Faena home, because that's truly what it feels like. We have been here several times, and each time is better than the last; a testament to their vision. The hotel and grounds are breathtaking, almost as if you're somewhere exotic abroad, or have taken a step back in time, with a Gatsby type feel. The pool, although simple, is perfect. The restaurants are top notch, with a setting that will impress even the pickiest of diners. The lobby looks like something from a classic movie, with a crowd to match it. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you would want and expect from a high end luxury resort. This hotel is truly perfect in every way!!I am sure there are hotels out there just as beautiful, or newer, or that offer a similar style - but what truly sets Faena apart is its people; that's where everyone else pales in comparison.Faena has trained well, and has empowered their staff to ensure that every guest is treated as if they are home, and they have not only met, but exceed that goal. I could list the names of 50 people, from bellman to pool staff, managers and housekeepers, concierge and butlers, all who embody this spirit, but I would hate to leave anyone off; it is 100% of the staff, 100% of the time. It's always hard to leave the Faena, but we always look forward to coming back to our Miami home!

Our experience at this restaurant was great! The food was fresh, properly prepared, and reasonably priced, making it a great value. We highly recommend it. Also, the Wednesday breakfast buffet was equally as satisfying!I have been to many hotels, but this hotel exceeded my expectations! I am so amazed by how they treat their customers, and the place also has a very fancy and chill ambiance! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! I like the red theme and the vibe is top notch elegance. The service is high level and whatever you need they make it happen. It isn’t the biggest hotel which is good. The pool set up is nice and has plenty of chairs. The beach was my favorite part. Private beach with 2 chairs if you are staying at the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel were pricey but delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. You pay for quality and thats exactly what you get here.

This was my first ever stay at a Kimpton. This boutique-y hotel was in a great location, and minus a few quirks, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a very trendy feel, but the hotel really makes an effort to make it feel comfortable... assuming you are comfortable with everyone in the hotel being much more attractive and flaunting it. :)The rooms were a little sterile for my taste. They have a modern minimalist feel, which to me felt cold. But the rooms are spacious and the views are fantastic. Balconies are incredibly large and offer some limited privacy. I saw many reviews complaining about the room smelling smoky (ash trays are on the balconies), but I didn't smell smoke. That said, I did smell a not-so-pleasant stale funk in the room, but it was nothing too major and could just be a preference thing. The service here is very good. The front door almost always had 2 doormen who opened the full double door for each guest. Check-in and out was quickly. Elevators seem sufficient for the size of the hotel. The lobby is very small but nice and functional. There is a happy hour from 5 to 6 in the lobby where you can get some free wine. Orange infused water is always available near the elevators, and the halfway-decent coffee is free in the lobby in the morning. The roof-deck pool area is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The poolside restaurant was very good and has a great little outdoor area for a quick bite/drink.I do of course have a couple of complaints. The first is the entrance. I did almost entirely walking from my hotel and there is no path to get up to the front door - you have to walk in the very busy driveway - this seems ludicrious to me given the very central and walkable location. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the in room water. There are 2 bottles of water on the night table. The look complimentary, but I noticed towards the end of my stay that the water has a sneaky $10 sticker (see pic) on the top of the cap. This is a shame. For a hotel that really did a great job to not nickle and dime you, I was very dissapoitned with this sneaky move. I was there for work, so I wasnt paying, but it still annoyed me on principle. If you are drinking waters every day and getting them replaced by hosuekeeping, you could easily rack up over $100 in water. Especialyl shameful givent that there is free water in the lobby and a Whoel Foods one block away.Overally I do highly recommend the Kimpton if you are staying in Miami and want a centrally located and trendy hotel near the water with a nice room, a great pool area, and a trendy vibe.

Great hotel and I highly recommend. Located in the heart of Downtown Miami, so you’re close to a lot of amenities, great food, etc. Hotel has a nice pool obviously, GREAT food, and friendly helpful staff. I had a few negatives though. I had a room that had the shared door between to rooms which I did not want and could hear my next door neighbors cough which was annoying. Also the sheets smelled very weird and chemical, they kept replacing them with the same smell but finally got it right. Also, there are a lot of fee’s so make sure you read the small details so you’re not blind sided. There is no self parking here either so if you want the convenience of pulling up you’ll need Valet AND they charge for overnight stay so keep that in mind. Overall GREAT hotel and I highly recommend.

Dissapointing stay. The hotel has great potential, but aside from one sweet front desk worker, the rest of the experience was not positive. We booked a total of 4 rooms for 2 nights with the promise of a late checkout being available given we were there for work. Not only was that reneged upon, which happens, but the hotel's treatment following that was just unpleasant.Given the concentration of hotels in the area, I would advise against staying here. There are better options. Unless and until the management fixes the attitude of the staff, and delivers on what promised, I'd avoid it.

This place is amazing. Our room on the 30th floor had a view of the river and the balcony is huge. The room was spacious and room service each day was appreciated. The bellmen downstairs were always pleasant in greeting you when you arrived and left. This was a great choice. Even though we did not have time for the pool, we went down and checked it out. It was pretty amazing as well.

I honestly did not enjoy my stay here that much at all the room was decent I enjoyed the view from the balcony however the shower is not great and only comes straight down so it’s like you have to stand at an awkward angle to get there. There is also a window you could see from the bed room into the bathroom which doesn’t give you any privacy especially when you’re staying with other people. The service was not good at all valet was horrible and made us pay an additional $28 into our $50 a day parking because we changed cars on the last stay of our day which is ridiculous to think about because we’ve already stayed at the hotel. The only great thing about the location is that it is walking distance from Hell’s Kitchen where we were able to enjoy a good meal. Overall not the best experience and I think there are definitely better more spacious hotels with better lighting in the area for a great price
