I am enjoying this hotel. It's got good rooms, a cheeky sense of humor with welcome mats and cool things like a skating rink this winter on the roof. Only complaint is I travel a lot for work and the room basically has no work surfaces (like a small desk and a chair). Otherwise quite nice.

First of all Rare bird blew me away. 5 stars on service and drinks. The hotel was absolutely amazing. Went for my 2nd wedding anniversary and they made sure to go above and beyond. They left some amenities for the special occasion in the room with an ice cold bottle of champagne.

I left an item in my refrigerator that I am 200% positive I left. They claim they can’t find it but like I said, it was in the fridge. Wonderful hotel all around except for lying about my item not being there for me to come back and pickup. It’s not okay.

The hotel was really good. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also they had allot of stuff for rent downstairs for rent like bicycles and tennis rackets and more.. the service is really nice and they always there for help. Had a good time there, on my bucket list. Would come back. I recommend this hotel

This is a hotel with nice rooms and a great restaurant. However the service isn’t on par with others in the area. Let me explain…USB plugs don’t work in the rooms. The rooftop bar and pool seem partly staffed, with staff disappearing for 20 minutes, with many patrons around. (Not to blame the staff: they were hard working and affable but seemed under supported.)The check-in staff failed to make eye contact with their own customers. Daily staff seem nice.It seems that management is unaware, or hires don’t want to be in a customer service role.Still, a very comfortable place to sleep and great location near Cherry Creek.

I have stayed here twice and enjoyed both. The Loft room on 4th floor was a little dark - one window in the foyer. I liked the Pullman room a little more. Union Station location is great. I will stay here again, and I think you should check out this unique hotel.

Great location. Tremendous attentive staff. The only negative was the difficult check in due to the very active location. High Parking fees & the new standard bogus fees were a turn off but I guess that's just the way it is nowCan't say enough about how nice the staff was. They were truly a pleasure to be around. They even heard that it was our anniversary & bought us a drink. Way over the top nice. They also had a really good complimentary shuttle that allowed us to just leave our car in the lot. Very useful.

The Crawford Hotel is an absolute gem! We wanted an upscale hotel that was distinctly Denver, and the Crawford delivered. Our room was well-appointed and spotless. It was also very quiet, which surprised me because the hotel is in a busy train station. The rooms somehow felt removed from the hustle and bustle of the Union Station lobby. The front desk staff is super helpful (thanks, Abby & Gracie!) and the perk amenities are legit. From check-in to check-out, we were very impressed. We will be back!

We arrived late morning after an early flight to see about early check in or checking our bags. The person working quickly checked the room status, and offered to check/hold our bags before we could ask 👍🏻. As promised, we got a call, early afternoon (before check in time) that our room was ready. Check in was a quick, smooth process. Both individuals were happy, professional and checked all of the question boxes before we even thought to ask anything. It was great.Additionally, we rode the RTD rail from the airport to the Union Station, which drops off right at the door of the hotel (and provides a LOT of local and regional access). The cost was super affordable, and downloading the app made ticketing simple. There is lots to do within walking distance, as well. Coors Field is only 2 blocks away! We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Denver.

I loved my entire experience at the Crawford hotel. I came for a conference at the Colorado convention center and am so happy that I stayed here instead of one of the large mainstream hotels. The Crawford hotel has character and charm. It is located in the Union station which has amazing restaurants, ice cream shop, coffee shops, great places to get breakfast, a couple bars to get drinks and relax.. really everything you need. Staying at the Crawford you get access to a gym, free ice cream, free beer, discounts at many of the establishments inside the station. Plus it’s conveniently located. You can get a train right out the back door to the airport and it was a short scooter ride to the convention center. The room I stayed in was extremely comfortable. Had all the amenities I needed. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Denver in the future. Thank you, Jen for taking great care of me!! I really appreciate you and the rest of the service care team!!

FAQs about Denver boutique hotels

What is the typical price range for boutique hotels in Denver?

Boutique hotels in Denver cater to a range of budgets, typically starting from around $150 to upwards of $400 per night. Prices can vary based on factors like location, luxury level, and amenities. Hotels in popular areas like Downtown Denver or near the LoDo District may command higher prices, particularly those offering panoramic views of the Rockies or unique amenities. However, there are more affordable boutique options available, especially if you consider neighborhoods slightly outside the city center, which still offer the unique charm and personalized experience of boutique stays.

When is the best time to visit Denver for a boutique hotel stay?

The best time to visit Denver for a boutique hotel experience is from April to May and from September to October. During these months, you can enjoy the city’s mild weather and fewer crowds, making it ideal for exploring Denver’s outdoor attractions and cultural scenes. Summer is also a popular time for tourists, but it brings higher hotel rates and more visitors. The shoulder seasons offer a balance of pleasant weather and better accommodation prices, making them an ideal time for a boutique hotel stay.

Are boutique hotels in Denver affordable during major events and festivals?

Prices for boutique hotels in Denver can rise during major events and festivals, such as the Great American Beer Festival or big concerts. However, affordable options are still available with early booking. Looking for hotels in areas slightly removed from the event’s epicenter often results in more competitive pricing. Some boutique hotels may offer special packages or promotions during these periods, which could include additional amenities or discounts for longer stays, providing greater value for your visit during these vibrant, event-filled times in the city.
