My Enchanting Escape: A Personal Review of Faena Hotel in Miami BeachFrom the moment I walked through the grand doors of the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly magical. The greetings from the valet team and the smooth check-in process set the tone for an extraordinary stay, leaving me wondering why I hadn't discovered this haven sooner. The atmosphere of the patio dining area for breakfast and the outdoor lounge for afternoon drinks was absolutely enchanting. Surrounded by verdant foliage and exquisite decor, I found myself transported to a realm of relaxation and indulgence with every sip and bite. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the exceptional team members at Faena Hotel. Each staff member I encountered was a testament to the hotel's dedication to providing top-notch customer service. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel like royalty throughout my stay.In essence, Faena Hotel in Miami Beach isn't just a place to lay your head – it's a sanctuary where every moment is crafted to perfection. Whether you're searching for tranquility, luxury, or simply a taste of paradise, this hotel exceeds all expectations. If you want an unmatched experience, the Faena is the right choice.

The Faena is a work of art! We have been for many vacations and this past year had our wedding at the Faena. The rooms are beautiful. I highly recommend upgrading to a suite. We had breakfast in our room and the butler service provided a beautiful display. The beach service is impeccable. You MUST stay here during your next Miami vacation.

Tip top best that Miami has to offer. Second to none. Your breath will be taken away as soon as you enter the grand lobby. It's simply beautiful. Eye candy for your eyes. Everything about the place is awesome.

The artwork at this hotel is the most creative and imaginative that I have seen, and made my stay exceptional. It's like being in a museum. The room had a beautiful view over the ocean, and the furniture in the main room of the suite was beautiful. For the exceptional atmosphere I rated the hotel 5 starsThere are a couple of ways the hotel could improve. First, the rooms are getting a bit old - the floors could use refinishing, and the tiles regrouting. I think the bedroom was missing a piece of furniture - besides the bed, two side tables and a chair it didn't have any. Practically, that means there's nowhere to put a speaker. Room service was a bit slow, with dishes left until the mid afternoon. "Over-medium" eggs came out relatively uncooked. These are little things, but for a hotel where you will pay through the nose, details matter.

Horrible experience at Faena. Customer service is lacking massively. Elitist behaviour on the beach with the beach umbrella removed while we were in the water as they assumed we were not staying at the hotel, and rather than ask, just did sneaky things behind your back. Then, overcharged us on the room rate. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls go unanswered. No one takes responsibility and it is by far, the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in our lives. The hotel is nice, everything else is absolute garbage.

Love the hotel, and the service was incredible. Most impressive was the bell men Eric Byrd. This gentlemen always had a smile on his face, positive energy and knew me by name each time he saw me. The day i checked out he saw me with my carry on and gave me a red Faena bag, i said what's this for ? he told me i have time to kill and its a beautiful day, he suggested I put my bathing suite on and take a dip before I go and I could use this bag for my bathing suit, so i took his advice. Wow what a thinker, upper management if your reading this give this man a raise!

This place is almost impossible to put into words, but I will try. I like to call Faena home, because that's truly what it feels like. We have been here several times, and each time is better than the last; a testament to their vision. The hotel and grounds are breathtaking, almost as if you're somewhere exotic abroad, or have taken a step back in time, with a Gatsby type feel. The pool, although simple, is perfect. The restaurants are top notch, with a setting that will impress even the pickiest of diners. The lobby looks like something from a classic movie, with a crowd to match it. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you would want and expect from a high end luxury resort. This hotel is truly perfect in every way!!I am sure there are hotels out there just as beautiful, or newer, or that offer a similar style - but what truly sets Faena apart is its people; that's where everyone else pales in comparison.Faena has trained well, and has empowered their staff to ensure that every guest is treated as if they are home, and they have not only met, but exceed that goal. I could list the names of 50 people, from bellman to pool staff, managers and housekeepers, concierge and butlers, all who embody this spirit, but I would hate to leave anyone off; it is 100% of the staff, 100% of the time. It's always hard to leave the Faena, but we always look forward to coming back to our Miami home!

Our experience at this restaurant was great! The food was fresh, properly prepared, and reasonably priced, making it a great value. We highly recommend it. Also, the Wednesday breakfast buffet was equally as satisfying!I have been to many hotels, but this hotel exceeded my expectations! I am so amazed by how they treat their customers, and the place also has a very fancy and chill ambiance! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! I like the red theme and the vibe is top notch elegance. The service is high level and whatever you need they make it happen. It isn’t the biggest hotel which is good. The pool set up is nice and has plenty of chairs. The beach was my favorite part. Private beach with 2 chairs if you are staying at the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel were pricey but delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. You pay for quality and thats exactly what you get here.

The Standard is a vibe. A mix of vintage, modern and cheeky. I was overjoyed with a 24 hour pool/jacuzzi/cold plunge, it’s extremely dog friendly, and probably serves the best frosé that I’ve ever tasted. Amazing location, walkable and (docking options). The spa amenities are incredible, and amazingly included when you stay at the hotel (highly recommend the hammam and cold room). The speakeasy has beautifully crafted astrology themed cocktails courtesy of Amy (she makes magic). We can’t wait to stay here again, and visit another location on our travels abroad!

Truly disgusting experience. From the cockroach under the bed, and worms crawling throughout the room to the random $100 for your 2nd guest policy without prior approval. I was sick and never went to the pool with my 2 friends but was somehow charged $100 per day without notice or sign off. Stayed here many times with multiple people. Will never stay again. The bathrooms are small and unkept. The drinks are watery and foul. Food is obviously extremely expensive for the quail out. The only nice part is the pool and, which had been the only redeeming quality for some time. A significant amount of the staff is so rude and superior (besides at the pool). The rest of the hotel guests are extremely loud all night, which is fine because it's that kind of hotel, but housekeeping comes at 9am (as if that is a sensible time). The hotel had been going downhill for a time that's why people who enjoy a lux experience do not stay there. Lost a long time customer this time. Hope the hotel is converted one day into a cleaner and better hotel. Also did try to discuss with manager this morning but apparently he had a non customer service brain and could only think within his feelings of anger and bitterness. Must hate his job as much as the hotel is old and dirty.

The Standard Spa lives up to its name and beyond. This beach hotel features a full-service spa. From the moment I stepped in, the stress began to melt away. The ambiance is nice and serene, offering a delightful experience. The masseuse Gustavo is a skilled magician who gave me the best massage. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail create a pampering experience like no other. After my massage, I felt rejuvenated. The sauna, as well as the steam room, is hot and spacious. It's worth every penny. The only thing I feel they can improve is the food; it could be better.

Came for a quick staycation. The view and vibes are amazing. The rooms are small, cute and minimal as to be expected. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the hard bed, a smelly pillow and on multiple days I'd seen children/a few teens leave the restaurant and walk through the pool area. I don't understand why the girls at the towel area didn't say something or try to stop them. The pool area is topless and should be a little better regulated.

Most hotels have spas… but this spa has a hotel. We enjoyed a much needed get away at The Standard and enjoyed every moment!!! Gustavo was my masseuse and George massaged my husband …. FABULOUS!!! Best massage I’ve had.We relaxed by pool… pool food and drinks were yummy! Try the lamb kabobs! Loved all the amenities in the spa.My only criticism is (1) water was turned off on second evening of our stay and hotel did not make it up to guests… they should consider a discount or credit towards spa and (2) the rooms could have been a little nicer… but it did the job.
