My husband booked this for my birthday. We stayed one night and unfortunately had a family emergency and had to leave early the next morning. We were mentally prepared to have to lose the cost of the second night, but they were gracious enough to refund us. The first night there was so wonderful that we booked another weekend a few weeks later. We stayed on the Morrocan side both times in different rooms and both of the rooms were unique and full of character. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. I have been to southern Spain and being at Korakia made feel like I was back there. Everywhere you look you are surrounded by peace and beauty. We went in March and April and the weather was perfect. If you’re not familiar with Palm Springs, it can be very hot in the summer so I would recommend staying in the spring, although rooms are less expensive in the summer. The only downside is they do not have a bar or food on promises, but you can easily order and they deliver from a local place. They are also very open to you bringing your own alcohol to drink on premises. The layout is a bit confusing on the website, but the Morrocan side is on one side of the street which is where the lobby is and where you have breakfast. If you cross the street, that is the Mediterranean villas. Both pools are beautiful but for me, I preferred the Mediterranean side as you get a great view of the mountains.

We stay at Korakia every year for my wife's birthday. We love it here. We come back because we have not found anything better in Palm Springs they really are amazing! This year unfortunately we stayed for a night and left a laptop charger and sandals in the Atlas room. I called the same day to let the staff know that I left belongings in the room, I described exactly what I left and where I left my stuff. They said they would call back if anything was found. To my disappointment nothing was found, I am 100% certain on where and what I left behind. Either the stuff was taken by the cleaning staff or they never cared enough to look properly to find my Charger and sandals. I hope this is not a normal experience for guests leaving there belongings!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The historic property is even more charming in person than the photos. The staff is friendly, attentive, helpful, and professional, and every detail has been thought of - from the popsicles served poolside on a hot summer day and magical twinkling lights throughout the property at night, to the freshly brewed coffee delivered directly to your room in the morning. Not to mention, the breakfast was incredible - far better than anything I expected. We highly recommend Korakia Pensione to anyone visiting Palm Springs, and we will look forward to returning.

Had the best girls' weekend here! It's such a special place. The whole team is so lovely and the rooms are gorgeous! The location is easily walkable to downtown bars, restaurants and shops. Take a morning hike to Taquitz Canyon. The waterfall at the top is magic. I highly recommend spending at least one night in, ordering room service and watching movies by the pool. It's a dream that you don't want to wake up from. Will definitely be back!

This place is magical. I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else. I have been all over the world and stayed in many different places, but this one is one of the most beautiful. I was worried that when we got there everything would be a little dingier and worn than the pictures--you know how that can be? Well, it was not. If anything it's more beautiful. We stayed in the Sahara suite and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect too. My husband and I walked everywhere and didn't need our car.

It breaks my heart to have to write this review. This was my oasis for many years and multiple times a year...but there's only so much you can handle from management especially for the premium you pay at this hotel vs the rest of palm springs, that makes it no longer worth it. If you are paying $1,500 per night (with taxes and fees) you expect to get a CLEAN room free of former guests' hair and cotton swabs...you also expect management to be kind, not robots. After staying at the Hermann suites for my 4th time (and on the property for the 8th time) I am making the decision to switch hotels during my stay (skipping a night) because management just doesn't get what good service means and is happy to say goodbye to you.The first time I stayed at the Hermann suites was when they first opened, I took the biggest suite they had with a jacuzzi in the back. Guess what? The jacuzzi was SO dirty I didn't even attempt to touch it. I love this property so much, I said nothing. The staff on property is very friendly, but there has not been even one instance I've stayed here where either something wasn't broken in the room or was not clean. This time around beyond a leaking shower and someone else's hair by my bed that even made the house keeping staff disturbed to even take a picture, the walls are so thin I had the privilege of hearing my neighbor have extremely loud sex. I have unfortunately reached my end here. For the first time ever, because I am upset, I looked at my itemized bill (and you better believe no one orders more bottles than I do here). By doing so, I found out that I was being overcharged $85 (besides this I was offered $100 off but I refused it because of principle, you can't continually mess up and win me over with money). Imagine if I had looked more closely when I had stayed other times..Gd knows how many more "mistakes" there's been.I am going to another property tomorrow which is 1/3rd of the price, so even if I get the same situation at least I know I'm not paying premium prices as I am here. On top of everything, their food sucks. There's a reason why everyone I have met here is here for the first time instead of repeat guests like myself...I guess I am the moron. Never again.

Great for couples. Adult only and pool open 24/7. Exceptional and very personable service. Definitely unique.I wanted to amend my review and add some more particular information. We had an exceptional meal experience. Kelly was very attentive and engaging and you could tell he was invested in the quality of service that we received. I would like to note that this investment was a theme that we noticed throughout our stay, and have also noticed while staying at the other Hermann property, Colony Palms, a few months ago. We had a minor concern about our room as it was facing the pool and we prefer privacy. Contessa gave us the option of choosing from a couple other available rooms, and ended up upgrading us to address our concerns. There was no obligation to do so, but our concern was taken very seriously and was addressed promptly. We were very pleased and grateful. Matt was the valet throughout our stay, and he also went above and beyond in many ways to ensure that our experience was exceptional. There are not enough hotels that care about customer experience the way that they do here.

One would never suspect how charming this luxury boutique is from Hwy 111. In fact, the tall hedges along the highway are both a sound and privacy wall. The old Hollywood feel has been beautifully retained on this expansive, well-landscape grounds. Then walk through a gate, and you are in a world of contemporary bungalows offering an entire feel and stunning view of the mountains.Restaurant on site and the staff is fabulous with no request too big.A world of quiet and luxury awaits you
