I give it 4 stars because the hotel restaurants were pretty meh. It could be because I was there the weekend of taylor swift, but Conners and the coffee shop inside the Marriott were pretty mid. Staff was helpful though and they did like 8 different events for swifties that I thought was inventive and community centered. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was fast and effective. I would stay again.
Gets a 1 star but will always be a zero for Marriott. I'm Platinum Elite at Marriott but I would stay at a motel 6 before this dump. A fire would only improve this trash pit. 60 nights a year but not at this rodent trap
Amazing!! Hotel was transformed into "The Marriott Era" total Taylor Swift experience. Seamless Valet, Check In,Bracelet Making Station, Cookies and beverages in lobby. Staff was friendly and warm and in their eras gear. Room was spotless. Great breakfast at the temporary concierge area. Loved all the rooms with photos, makeup hair stations although we did not partake. No waiting for drinks and snack at the bar. This hotel handled the crowd with ease and great service. We had a great family memory.
Had an absolutely enchanting weekend in Swift City staying at the Marriott! Everything about our experience as top tier. Check in and check out with Disha was friendly and personable, major things I look out for as a lifelong Marriott member. The Bonvoy team went all out to welcome each and every person with numerous activities for all ages. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for making us feel so special!
Good central location. Bar, Starbucks, and restaurant are convenient. The parking can be tricky, and if there is an event going on, the lot fills up quickly. We were there for 5 days. Housekeeping would tend to come by early and we would ask for them to return in an hour. We would get up and go to breakfast or out to exercise and return without any service being performed. We would either call for new towels in the evening or if we saw them later in the afternoon, request new towels. We would also place the trash cans once they were full into the hallway. They never actually serviced the room during our entire stay.
I just completed a stay at the Downtown Indianapolis Marriott and cannot say enough good things about my experience. The highlight of each day was the welcoming hospitality and food provided in the M Club Lounge. Marco and Melina ( and entire staff) went out of their way each day to make the morning start off right and evening end with delicious treats. Thank you for a wonderful week!!

The staff was very professional and courteous.One staff member in the Concierge Lounge went above and beyond. Melina was attentive and even when I was a few minutes late for breakfast was so kind to offer to fix me a plate of eggs and bacon. That is understanding what true Customer Service is all about. From the moment we sat down, Tony was exceptionally attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. He struck the perfect balance between being present and giving us space to enjoy our meal.Tony was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and even accommodating a couple of special requests with ease. What really stood out was his friendly, genuine attitude — it’s clear he takes pride in his work. Bad experience all around. The only thing that was amazing was the service. My room smelled like manure as soon as i walk in, seems like the ac doesn’t work, and they charged me double the amount. If i had to choose again, i wouldn’t choose this hotel. Also, the building isn’t very noise canceling, you could hear bikes and cars with exhaust mods and loud ass music all night. It has one hell of a view though
This could have been a great experience and it should have been a great experience because this is the Marriott.I checked in on Tuesday afternoon (9/17) without issues and noticed my room phone blinking when I woke up Wednesday morning. I called the front desk for the message and they informed me they were charging me a $300 "smoke fee" because of some sensor in the room sending a message I had either smoked or vaped in the room. I explained I neither smoke nor vape and had done nothing in the room to create any kind of smoke or to cause any kind of sensor to be triggered. They told me they would let "the company" know so they could investigate further.I heard nothing back, so on Thursday I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager on duty about this ridiculous charge being held over my head and he told me there was nothing he could do about it and that I had to wait for some third-party company to do an investigation and review the data from the sensor.So what could have been a great experience here at the Marriott has been marred by this stupid false charge hanging over my head for 3 days now. I received my folio via email last night because I am checking out today and it shows a $350 smoke fee added to my bill, and I still have a $300 pending charge on my credit card for this false charge.So now I have spent most of my morning trying to deal with this by calling Marriott customer service and having to call my bank to dispute this ridiculous charge that a human being could not resolve in person at the desk of a hotel that should have some of the highest customer service standards in the industry.I am so disappointed in Marriott and the people at this hotel who cannot address an issue directly and who take no responsibility in trying to resolve this issue with a customer. This is not acceptable. When you use words like "there is nothing we can do to change this" and, "it is virtually impossible to reverse this charge once it hits", you have a serious fracture in your customer service process, especially when your brand sits at the higher end of the service industry and your reputation for quality service should be at the forefront of any experience a customer has with you.You failed on this one Marriott and have marred what should have been a very pleasant experience for this business traveler.
Stayed here for two nights while in town for a conference. I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties and this is one of the nicest ones I’ve visited. The room was immaculate and spacious with very comfortable beds. The lobby is very lively with plenty of food and drink options. The staff was unbelievable. Friendly, warm staff greeting you with a smile around every corner. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend!
We had an absolutely fantastic brunch experience at Conner’s! Our server, Tony B, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time. We started with the breakfast nachos, which were incredible, and the cinnamon roll was a dream, loaded with plenty of frosting. Every bite was indulgent!The brisket hash was another highlight—the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We also tried the shrimp and grits, which were fantastic. One of our eggs wasn’t cooked all the way, but they replaced it super quickly without any hassle.The atmosphere was lively, and we were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. We took advantage of the $10 bottles of champagne for mimosas and ended up getting two—it was such a great deal! The coffee was also really good, and it rounded out our meal perfectly.Overall, the food was amazing, the service was top-notch, and we left very happy. Highly recommend!
Booked this Marriott because I stayed here last April. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. It’s the service that is the best. Starting with Valet, to the front desk and then the best part of our overnight stay was Connors Kitchen. Amazing service for our evening meal with Cathy as our server. We then returned for brunch because our food was so tasty the night before so we thought let’s try their breakfast. Again excellent breakfast entrees but what made the meal special was our service from Julie. She was genuine, sincere and kind. She even made us laugh. Manager Kim came to the table to check in on us and she too was so kind and thoughtful to ask us about our lives. I’m hooked and now a Raving Fan.
We stayed at Old Northside over Christmas this year and last year. Danny, the assistant innkeeper, was an extraordinarily accommodating host, making us feel welcome in this well appointed bed and breakfast. Location was close to downtown and close to many attractions. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Stayed one night at Old Northside B&B and could have stayed a few more if we had time. Gary is such an elegant host and sits with his guest to talk. If you love movies this is the place to go. He bakes delicious homemade cookies for his guests. Breakfast was delicious and there are accommodations for dietary restrictions. We slept sound and the room was spacious , clean and all accessories needed are provided. Must stay if in Indianapolis
This marks the 6th stay at a bed and breakfast for my wife and I. This one is definitely a top 3. The breakfasts were great and no shortage of food. We stayed in the Library suite and the amenities were great. With the inn not being so far from the highway it made transportation to things easy.The host, Gary, was great. Unfortunately, he was out of town for half of the trip; i would have loved to talk to him about his travels to the Soviet Union as I was a political science major.
Gary is a great host. Ha has a charming house, and I really appreciate the parking area in back.
What an amazing find in the heart of Indianapolis. I wish we would have had more time to relax and enjoy. Gary is the most gracious, kind and helpful host. He is so accommodating and to boot, he makes the best cookies ever! The breakfast was better than I have had at any bed and breakfast and forget the hotel chain breakfast those do not even compare. If we ever need a downtown Indianapolis area hotel - Old Northside B&B will be our first choice.

My 7 year old daughter and I stayed here for the weekend of her dance competition. Gary was a wonderful host. He wanted to make sure we were greated at the door. And while we slipped in behind another guest, he was still there to welcome us. Thw home is welcome and inviting and filled with so many wonderful movies to choose from. My kiddo thought it was the best. Our room had an electric fireplace of we got cold and a fan if we got hot. Which I loved because I can't sleep without one. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Gary had a lovely spread laid out in the dinning room. I can't say enough. I'll def have to come back another time. Maybe with my husband. Thanks so much for having us. It was lovely.

Stayed in the Tiffany room which had a double hot tub, nice fire place and a king-size bed that was super comfortable. Free snacks with cookies, popcorn,nuts and free sodas and water. Nice patio for the smokers to go smoke. Amazon fire stick with, Netflix Hulu and Amazon. Breakfast was delicious, French toast, Banana bread french toast, cereal and fruit. Oj, coffee or tea. The house is beautiful with free parking in a private lot in the back. It was built in 1885 and has fine woodwork, doors and trim. It’s seated in The Old Northside neighborhood amid tree-lined streets and nice, big, historic homes. It’s great for walks, coffee and restaurants. Gary is a great host. He’s friendly and interesting. He has memorabilia and photos that document his friendships with celebrities. A unique and highly recommended experience.

My first experience staying at a B&B, and it was wonderful! The house is beautiful...everything is clean and comfy and there are so many personal, detailed touches that add to the experience. The host, Gary, goes over and above to make sure you are welcomed and have everything you need during your stay. The house is relatively close to downtown and has its own brightly lit, monitored parking area out back. This B&B also offers WiFi for guest, but why stay tied to the internet when Gary is near...great conversationalist, fluent in spanish and french and a world traveler (over 111 countries and all 50 states!)...very entertaining. The reason I gave a 4star rating, Google says an evening's stay is $144, but when the card was charged it was $193. I do not understand the difference and was on my way to an appointment that morning so I did not want to go through asking why. Plus Gary was such a great host the extra bit was worth it. Gary was very warm and inviting. As someone who enjoys antiques and old buildings this place was perfect. Breakfast was impeccable, be sure to try the cookies! I will be returning on my next visit.
My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary there this weekend. Everything was wonderful. Gary met us at the door, we set our bags down and he showed us around. There was a nice little snack bar with homemade cookies treats sweets and snacks available anytime and refrigerator filled with an assortment of complementary beverages. Gary was very welcoming and gave us a little history on the place and we got to talking and learned a bit about him. He is a super nice guy. We love the high ceilings and old traditional woodwork as well as the decore. We stayed in the biggest room that was on the main floor. It had beautiful Stainglass and appeared Like a step back in time. The room had a fireplace, a nice soaking tub for two, a very comfortable king size bed and was very spacious. Also Gary has probably the biggest collection of movies you will ever see. We went out for a nice dinner and then came back and watched movies. We opted for the latest time for breakfast which was 9:30 AM, and apparently three other couples did too so we all got to eat together and met some very interesting and nice people. The breakfast was great and Gary made a homemade egg sausage casserole. There were various breads, bagel, rolls, waffles, homemade banana nut bread, cereals and granola, fresh cut fruit, as well as coffee tea and juice. Gary made everyone feel welcome and I am runs a class act Bed and breakfast. Also it's only minutes from all the downtown attractions And restaurants. I highly recommend it!
