I brought my girlfriend (now fiancé) here for a surprise engagement and it was PERFECT! Everything from the beautiful scenery and the AMAZING staff! Couldn’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful little getaway! The staff truly made it an experience we will never forget! We can’t wait to come back!

I planned a surprise trip here for my fiance's 30th birthday and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. Everyone here was so sweet and accommodating. The afternoon tea and treats were a delight and the butler's pantry was a nice little surprise. The river suite which we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous. Between the fireplace, the jacuzzi, and the view of the river, it couldn't have been more relaxing. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious as well. We are so excited to plan another getaway here!

Great place for a relaxing getaway. The Treehouse room is wonderful; huge bed, whirlpool tub, rain shower, and fantastic views. We stayed in December, when it was a bit cold for outdoors but the view of the riverfront was fantastic. I would imagine even better than in the summer when the trees could block some of the view. The staff were all friendly and wonderful, and the breakfasts were delicious! Would definitely recommend this B & B.

For the price paid ($350/night) this place was very disappointing. It’s located in a nice river spot, if you’re able so sit outdoors. The rooms are old and perhaps not to standards. You barely can move in it’s tiny shower; the noisy electric heater is in one side of the room and it’s not automatic; TV is a joke - an old PC screen inside a closet. The bed is too high and the mattress bends all over. In summary, the room needs major care.Being a B&B, we’re always excited about the morning meal, which was also disappointing.Service: except for Mary (who is lovely and exceptional), nobody in the staff smiles or greets you. 🤨 It’s the hospitality industry! But the worst part is that our room was never cleaned!Again, very disappointing location. I recommend you stay close by at better lodging in price and service.

We recently spent 3 wonderful and relaxing days at the Bridgeton House. The room was very comfortable and had a great ambience. The property sits overlooking the Delaware R. and its very relaxing to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view. Breakfast each day was amazing. This place is located in a nice quiet area along the Delaware and you are only a short distance from other restaurants. a nice drive to see various covered bridges and antique stores. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing long weekend. We enjoyed eating at the The Little York and the Descendants Brewing Co at the Old Ship Inn. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying at Bowman’s Inn and we were so glad to get back. It was a last minute one night stay but well worth the drive from Montville. The service from Mike and Anitascio was superb. You won’t fine a more picturesque and romantic bed and breakfast anywhere! Nearby shopping for antiques is great. We had dinner at the old stone church steakhouse near by and it was really nice. Highly recommended

We had an amazing time, my husband and I, celebrating my 30th birthday. It was full of surprises for me. We had a couples massage, champagne and more....My husband chose the specific Inn as a great escape from the city and the busy family routine and he made a great choice indeed. The service was amazing and the staff and owner extremely hospitable with us. We felt like part of a family in cozy home! We would definitely pay a visit again and again and recommend it to family and friends!

Recently, we had the delightful experience of staying at The Inn at Bowman's Hill to celebrate my fiancée's birthday, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The General Washington Suite was our charming haven - its balcony offered breathtaking views that captivated us, and the bed was the epitome of comfort. Every evening, the fireplace added a cozy ambiance, and the steam shower was a rejuvenating treat. The culinary experience at breakfast was phenomenal. The Eggs Benedict, according to my fiancée, were the best she's ever tasted. The portions were so generous that we happily skipped lunch to savor the flavors longer. Dining amidst lemon trees and a variety of plants made each morning refreshing and invigorating.Location-wise, The Inn is perfectly situated. We enjoyed excellent dining options nearby, and a visit to the Washington Crossing Historic Park was both informative and enjoyable. A standout evening at a local piano bar restaurant offered a blend of great food and entertainment. The warmth and hospitality of Anastacio and Mike truly set this Inn apart. Their friendly and informative approach provided a personal touch that you just don’t find in larger hotel chains. They made us feel incredibly welcome and contributed significantly to the overall exceptional experience. For anyone in search of a tranquil and luxurious getaway, I wholeheartedly recommend The Inn at Bowman's Hill. It’s a place where comfort, elegance, and warm hospitality blend seamlessly, ensuring a memorable and rejuvenating stay.

The service is immaculate and the hosts are extremely kind and courteous. It’s definitely the perfect place for a romantic get away or solo trip away from all the noise. The room was extremely spacious, I almost considered moving in. I loved that it’s a private estate and the scenery is very relaxing. The pool area was wonderful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Anastasio is an amazing host and Juanita (the estate dog) made my heart melt. Will definitely be returning.
