My fiance stayed at this hotel 8/16/25 on the third floor in this suite that can sleep six people. Unfortunately due the storm the hotel lost power at night, and well into the morning(tried calling after 12pm, lines were still down. Received Verizon Error message when we called)
With the power going out he was unable to use the elevator to get all his luggage from his room down to his vehicle(no help was offered when he was taking multiple trips on the stairs and walking past the front desk)couldn’t charge any of his electronics, and there was no air-conditioning. He ended up having to leave early.
I called to see if there is any type of compensation, example there was reasonable voucher or some type of refund, anything and they told me no that if this is considered an act of God. I understand no one can control a storm, but that just seems like poor customer service considering the entire hotel was completely booked. This affected not only us but multiple guests in that entire hotel.
Location is great, but I’m really disappointed in the customer service in the hospitality industry.
Ordered pizza for delivery and Andrew made sure we were taken care of with plates. And when we forgot our spoon to feed our baby he was able to help us again.
The staff here have been nothing but friendly and make you feel like family you haven’t seen in forever. Especially Andrew!! He is so nice and remembered us from staying here before.
We will definitely be back and hope that we get to see our favorite staff!!
Thank you Andrew for your assistance in making our spring break adventure top notch. Your welcoming smile and your kind heart made us feel at home.
With a pool and hot tub this trip was amazing inside and out!
The rooms here are great! Shout out to the staff that make these rooms great!
Thank you for everything!
See you soon!
Rooms were very smelly, humid and the bathroom had rust.
Bed sheets were dirty with stains on them, even when the room service (which is not daily) came and changed them, they were the same.
Air conditionning system was old and useless, reception promised to solve the matter by the morning (that was in day 2) and did nothing about it.
Reception is very unprofessional. After checking my passport, they named me after my home city (I’m proud but that’s not how things go).
Lobby is old, untidy and unorganized, not even close to how a lobby should be.
My friend got a fully grown cockroach under the coffee machine, and some ants crawled to his bed while sleeping.
Long story short, if you want to ruin your vacation/stay, just go there
But what really stood out was the Customer Service. I needed an iron because I was in town for a wedding I needed to press my shirt. The manager Jaycee actually lent me his own iron and ironing board so I could do what I needed to do. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the whole trip. I highly recommend this hotel primarily for the excellent service!
