Medford Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Medford, Ashland, and the Rogue Valley, Oregon

Best Time to Visit

  • Summer (June–September): Peak season. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland runs February through October but draws its largest audiences in summer. The Britt Festival in Jacksonville runs June through September. Both events fill Ashland and Jacksonville Jacuzzi hotels weeks in advance. Book 5–7 weeks ahead for July and August weekends, especially at The Bard's Inn and Lithia Springs Resort.
  • Fall (October–November): Excellent shoulder season. The Shakespeare Festival continues through late October, and Rogue Valley vineyards enter harvest season. One of the best windows for a couples Jacuzzi getaway in Ashland - slightly lower pricing than summer with beautiful fall color across the Siskiyou Mountains.
  • Spring (March–May): The Shakespeare Festival kicks into gear in late February and builds demand through spring. Wildflower season along the Pacific Crest Trail and in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument draws hikers. Good availability mid-week at Ashland and Medford properties.
  • Winter (December–February): Quietest season with the lowest pricing. Mount Ashland ski area keeps some winter demand, and the Shakespeare Festival runs select winter productions. January and February offer the best rates - Lithia Springs Resort at $117/night and Super 8 Central Point at $68/night are at their annual lows.
Booking tip: The Rogue Valley market is heavily oriented around Ashland's cultural scene - the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Britt Festival are the two largest demand drivers. Ashland has the densest concentration of top-rated Jacuzzi hotels, with The Bard's Inn ($190, 9.6/10) and Lithia Springs Resort ($117, 9.4/10) leading the market. Medford offers more affordable I-5 corridor options, and the region includes several unique secluded retreats - Green Springs Inn in the Cascade Mountains and Edgewater Inn on the Rogue River in Shady Cove.

Important Booking Tips for Medford and the Rogue Valley

  • Oregon Shakespeare Festival (February–October): The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is the dominant demand driver in Ashland. Summer performances (June–September) create the strongest booking pressure. Book 5–7 weeks ahead for summer weekends at downtown Ashland properties, particularly The Bard's Inn and Plaza Inn at Ashland Creek.
  • Britt Festival in Jacksonville (June–September): The Britt Festival is a major outdoor music and performing arts series in Jacksonville. Festival weekends fill the Jacksonville Inn and nearby Medford properties. Check the Britt Festival schedule before booking - concert nights create localized demand spikes.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these hotels include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking. At boutique properties like Lithia Springs Resort and Green Springs Inn, Jacuzzi rooms are a specific category - always confirm at the time of reservation.
  • Green Springs Inn for forest seclusion: Green Springs Inn sits at 4,500 feet elevation in the Cascade Mountains along Highway 66, 20 miles east of Ashland near Hyatt Lake. It offers a secluded forest lodge experience with handcrafted interiors, a private jetted tub, and restaurant service - unlike anything else in the Rogue Valley. Best suited for couples who want mountain seclusion over Ashland walkability.
  • Best budget option: Super 8 by Wyndham Central Point Medford ($68/night, 7.2/10) is the most affordable Jacuzzi hotel in the Rogue Valley - practical for budget travelers who are comfortable with an I-5 corridor location and a short drive to Ashland or Jacksonville. Lithia Springs Resort ($117/night, 9.4/10) is the best combination of value and rating among top-rated properties.
  • Medford as a practical base: Rogue Regency Inn & Suites ($114/night) is centrally located off I-5 in Medford, 15 minutes from both Ashland and Jacksonville. A practical choice for travelers who want to attend both the Shakespeare Festival and the Britt Festival without switching hotels.

Definitely a hotel I would go back to. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as others have pointed out. I had a problem with the fridge and someone came to fix it within an hour, and he was friendly.

The physical facility is well maintained but a bit outdated. I thought it was charming, reminding me of the 80s or 90s. Overall it was a comfortable environment and I felt at home. A good base for exploring the region.

First off the good.... the staff was amazing. Very helpful and upbeat. The room was clean and tidy.
The bad..... the location, might not be entirely their fault, makes it hard to get certain places. The adminities ie. Chadwick's, the pool and spa close way to early. The elevators and hallways were very warm.

It's a great hotel ! The guy at the front desk (July 8, 5pm) was very nice and friendly. The room was very cleaned and comfortable. The breakfast was also a good one, not a ton of choice but perfect for the price. I definitely recommend this place.

The only reason I gave this a 3 star, was because the bathroom in the room was dirty ( there was visible dirt on the shower wall) and housekeeping had left a coffee pod from the last guest in the coffee maker. Other than that, the rest of the room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and this was a great location. I did not get to try the breakfast, but have heard it's delicious.
As far as service, I had requested a wake up call, and did not get it. I almost missed my excursion I had planned. However, the rest of the service was wonderful. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

I'm quite impressed ...nicely appointed rooms that are larger than most. We have two queen beds on first floor...clean and quiet. Staff is very attentiv and pleasant. Only negative I can find is that it was difficult to find due to large trees covering the signage, but not too much of a problem. Also a nice restaurant is attached so easy to dine and food was good.

It seemed as though none of the doors in this place worked properly which made safety a giant concern. On two separate occasions on our one night stay, our room door was opened by others. I was also able to access the exit only door from the outside with no key because the door was broken. Not safe.

Well there is a slide what else can I say breakfast is minimal, rooms are reasonably clean, beds are somewhat comfortable if you have moderate expectations and go for your kids and the slide you will love it. Front desk was friendly. If you want hot breakfast buffet and comfier beds maybe somewhere else.

Room was okay could have been cleaner, the bathtub was nasty, bed was comfortable breakfast was literally toast so if your counting on breakfast don’t lol they also have some new rule where even if your room is paid for you have to put down an extra $150 deposit so be prepared for that! Luckily I had it or we would have been screwed. Overall won’t stay there again.

My experience here was an absolute nightmare. I found bed bugs in my bed and woke up the next morning with around 50 bites. When I spoke to the guests in the room next to me, they reported having the same problem. The way Rosa treats guests is unprofessional and unacceptable — it made me never want to come back. This is not only poor customer service but also a serious health and safety issue. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here. Spend the extra $10 and go somewhere that won’t treat you less than human.

Had some issues with checking but Amanda helped us through it all! 5 stars for her! The rooms are a little dated but it was comfy and the kids loved the pool and slide. Would stay again for $100
