I stayed at the Hampton Inn North last night on a business trip. I was chatting with the ladies as I was checking in and birthdays came up. I mentioned that mine was a few days ago. I went out for dinner and came back to the sweetest goody bag and birthday card from Catonya and Meg! These ladies made my week!

Sounds good. Looks good. But if you want air conditioning in July, go somewhere else. The ENTIRE HOTEL is hot as hell. It’s completely miserable. And when you ask them if the AC is out, they look at you like you’re crazy as sweat drips down your face and soaks your clothes. It’s ridiculous. I would believe every one star rating you see here.

We had ants in the bed. A request for room service was not honored. We took out our on trash , brought spray for ants and brought sheets. My in-laws had to change rooms three times because it was hot in the room ( unexpected for the elderly). The staff was great as well and breakfast friendly after all of that.

Staff was so friendly, hotel was sparkling clean and everything was great! I checked in around 2-3pm, and the front desk staff was beyond kind and helpful. I will 100% come back. out of all the hampton inns i have stayed at the staff here was by far the nicest!!

Everyone who works at this hotel is awesome! I got there too early to check in but the front desk made me feel welcome to stay in the lobby until a room opened up. Every time I arrived or left someone said hello or wished me a good day. The room was clean. The location was very convenient, close to convenience stores, fast food, groceries, and a few restaurants. I've stayed here a few times now and it is a good example of a Hampton Inn. They are all pretty great so far!

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Columbus! Such a gorgeous building with history emanating from every wall, and a variety of rooms available to suit any need or whim. And access to Uptown restaurants and the Riverwalk is just steps away. But the best perk you’ll find here are invitations to share drinks and conversations with some of Columbus’ most interesting artists, writers and musicians out on the porch or (weather allowing) the lovely courtyard.

I have stayed at this B&B three years in a row. The hosts are always warm and accommodating, the rooms are lovely, and the area is beautiful and within walking distance to uptown Columbus. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We have enjoyed the beautiful rooms at the Rothschild Pound House, there a great restaurant quadrant on Broadway, a few blocks away, near the Chattahoochee River.

Columbus, Georgia has a rich architectural history. Staying at The Rothchild Pound House is a charming way to soak in it. I just returned for another visit. Built in 1886, it has recently been restored for her second time by owner Mamie Pound. She has vastly improved electrical and plumbing issues that previously made my visits less than ideal. Now doors lock, water is hot, showers have pressure, etc. Attention to detail in her restoration has preserved the original splendor of the Victorian Architecture and furnishings while also addressing comfort for guests. The beds and sheets are the finest. The inn is an easy walk to downtown, the river, and just the experience of a historic neighborhood. Why stay anywhere else but a manor that reflects the best of the glory that was Victorian Columbus then and southern hospitality now.

I’ve stayed here twice and loved it! The rooms are comfortable and hospitality was excellent. This is a 100 year old house so people should expect a bit of quirkiness but everything looks beautiful. I love the garden and the wrap around porch. I would definitely stay here again!
